At Fusion, Babe and Annie encourage Bianca's interest in Zoe and the secret admirer plan, but Kendall isn't sure it will work. She changes the subject from Zoe to Simone's missing Fusion shares, but the conversation quickly reverts to Zoe and Binx. "I really like her," Bianca says, looking for support from her sister. Kendall is too worried about Bianca's heart, though. Annie steps in, suggesting that Bianca go for it with Zoe. "But you can't even have a real relationship. You can't exactly ignore that... part," Kendall says, referring to Zoe's still being a physical male. The group disperses, but Annie sticks around for a moment with Bianca, telling her that she supports what Binx is doing. Kendall returns, backing down a little with Bianca. Babe steps in, offering her support to Bianca as well. JR arrives, asking to see Babe - alone! He pulls her aside, telling her that Zach is beginning to take shots at Chandler. When she doesn't react to the news, JR leaves. Bianca approaches Babe, offering her support. Kendall joins in, telling Babe to think of all the new people she can torture now! Babe smiles, feeling a little better. Zoe and Ryan arrive at the office; Ryan picks up Annie, carrying her away. Bianca follows to run a few errands. "All this romance is giving me indigestion," Kendall says, going back to work. Babe delivers another secret admirer gift, this one inviting Zoe to the yacht club! Zoe isn't excited by the gift, though, but reluctantly agrees to go meet her crush!
Is Love In The Air?
At Wildwind, Ryan and Annie are making wedding preparations with Emma. Ryan surprises Annie by saying he plans to make Emma - and Spike! - older siblings. He is thinking of reversing the vasectomy! They head out for the day and meet Del and Jonathan at the door. They are bringing boxes of Kathy's things to the mansion. Julia meets them in the parlor, worried because she hasn't seen Jamie. Del tells them Amanda is missing, too. Tad calls, telling Julia about the accident. He tells her that Amanda and Jamie have been taken to Penn General, not PVH and Julia gathers her things to leave.
At Fusion, Kendall tries to pay back Erica, but she doesn't want Kendall's money. Seeing that Kendall won't let her refuse, Erica accepts the check. Barbara walks in, wearing only one shoe and yelling at Erica! "You hijacked me into the middle of the ocean!" she says, and Erica calmly claims to know nothing about her being locked inside the yacht! Kendall gets in the middle of the fight, telling Barbara to leave. After exchanging a few more words wit Erica, Barbara stomps out of the office. Kendall can't believe what Erica did and wonders why she tried to get Barbara out of the picture! Ryan and Annie arrive before Erica can explain anything. Learning that they are getting married and that Annie is working at Fusion, Erica wonders if Kendall has lost her mind! Kendall sends Ryan and Annie off to get her settled in at the office. Ryan leaves a few moments later. "You're setting her up!" Erica says, suggesting that Kendall use her yacht to get Annie away from Ryan! Kendall suggests Erica concentrate on herself and Jack! Bianca and Zoe arrive and Erica tries to enlist their help to get Annie out of the picture. Bianca, though, is excited that Annie and Ryan are engaged. "Are you ill?" Erica asks. A delivery man brings in another gift for Zoe. Erica tells them to be careful - it could be a bomb from Barbara! Kendall reads the card and learns it's for Zoe! Babe arrives, excited to finally be getting things back to normal. She tells them she and Krystal are moving out of the mansion and Kendall offers space for little A, whenever Babe needs it. Seeing Erica, Babe confronts her, wondering if she is happy now. Kendall and Bianca try to interrupt them, but Babe and Erica aren't listening. "Understand this: your mother is a cheating tramp," Erica says as Jack arrives! Annoyed with her for the Barbara stunt, Jack pulls Erica from the office, leaving the women to fawn over Zoe's latest gift from the secret admirer! Zoe is convinced the person is a deranged fan, and even when Bianca suggests it's from a real admirer, blows off the gift. She leaves for an appointment, leaving Bianca crushed. "You?!", the women ask, realizing that Bianca is Zoe's secret admirer! Kendall is called away and returns a few minutes later with news for the group - Simone's Fusion stock certificates are missing!
Peaceful Pine Valley?!?
At Wildwind, Annie is counting chicken pox scars when Kendall arrives with flowers. Annie wonders why she is there, and Kendall tells her she is excited about the coming wedding. "I must be sicker than I thought," Annie says. Kendall apologizes for her actions in the past, making Annie cry. When Annie continues to question her motives, Kendall takes back the flowers and magazines and angrily leaves Annie's room! A moment later, she returns, offering the flowers and saying, "Let's make nice but not too nice." Annie gives in and allows Kendall to cover the pox marks with makeup. When she finishes, Annie asks what she really wants. "I play nice with you, you play nice with me and Spike grows up saner than any Kane or Lavery in history," Kendall admits. Annie shows Kendall a story she wrote for Ryan and Spike, and Kendall is shocked at how great the story and the artwork are. Ryan arrives, curious about why they aren't fighting. Kendall asks them to choose a date and then she's throwing them an engagement party. She asks if Spike can be part of the wedding and leaves them alone. "That is a miracle," Ryan says, amazed at how Kendall is acting. They lie together on Annie's bed and she wonders how Erin would react to their wedding news. Ryan tells her Erin would love it. When he suggests the marry right away, Annie says they have to wait - until she is pox-free!
...And, He's Out!
At Wildwind, Annie tries on Ryan's ring as he returns. Without a chance to take it off, she hides her hand underneath the covers. Annie makes a decision and tells him to close his eyes. Before she can say anything, Emma interrupts. Annie invites her into bed for a final story before bed. She tells Emma the story of how Sir Ryanovich unlocked Queen Annabelle's heart - with oatmeal! She pulls her hand from beneath the covers, showing Ryan that she is wearing his ring! "Ryan and I are getting married," Annie tells him and Emma. Excited, Ryan begins bouncing Emma on the bed and then sends her off to spread the word. Ryan kisses her and Annie begins to cry. Emma returns with Jonathan, Kathy, Julia and Jamie who are all excited at the news. Amanda, Di and Dell arrive and toast the newly engaged couple. The other residents leave Ryan and Annie alone to celebrate their engagement. They wake the next morning, blissfully happy. Outside on the terrace, the other Wildwind residents are enjoying breakfast when Derek arrives with a warrant to search the grounds. Janet has escaped from the mental institution!
Decisions, Decisions!
At Wildwind, Annie tries to resist the urge to scratch, but is failing fast. Just before she can, Ryan rushes into the room to stop her. Emma arrives - and she's got the pox, too! She has actually only dotted her face with a magic marker but Annie and Ryan both think it's cute. Together Emma and Ryan come up with an idea to get Annie's mind off the itchiness. Ryan bounces Emma, singing the "10 Little Monkeys" song. Finished with the song, Annie asks Ryan to leave so she can rest and he reluctantly goes. As soon as she is alone, Annie begins scratching her legs! Ryan returns in a few minutes after preparing an oatmeal bath and takes Annie to it. With Annie in the tub, Ryan sits beside her and begins to massage her arm with a damp sponge. Annie is finally free of the itchiness and relaxes into the water as Ryan continues to soothe her skin and sing the "10 Little Monkeys" song. A few minutes later, Ryan helps Annie back to bed. "Thank you for another fantastic day," he says and leaves to get soup. Alone, Annie wonders about her decision not to marry Ryan. She reaches into his coat pocket, finding the engagement ring he bought for her!
Love Is In The Air
At Wildwind, Annie turns from Ryan, telling him to leave her alone and refusing to look at him! He finally leaves and from outside the door, Ryan begs to be let back inside. Annie doesn't budge, though and asks him to get Julia! Downstairs, Julia is preparing for a board meeting at the hospital as Amanda, Del, Di and the others prepare for a game of poker. Ryan comes in, pulling Julia away. He asks her to go upstairs to Annie. Jonathan comes over, asking what happened with Annie. "I blew it and I don't know how," Ryan says. Di comes over, telling Ryan that Annie needs the total package and Del, Jamie and Amanda wonder what's up. Telling them that Annie booted Ryan out, they come up with romantic alternatives to the dusty-stable proposal. Back upstairs, Annie lets Julia in asking, "Is this what I think it is?" Julia takes her fever and assures her its official - she has chicken pox! When Julia prepares to leave, Annie gives her one more request - send Ryan home! Julia comes back, asking who has had chicken pox and Ryan realizes the truth. He heads back upstairs and when Annie still won't let him in, he picks the lock and goes in anyway! Annie hides her face under the comforter as Ryan talks to her. He reaches for the comforter and pulls it away from her so he can see her face. He kisses her! The poker game gets underway in the downstairs parlor and the group tries to get Julia away from her work, but they can't. Lily arrives, asking Aidan if he'll help her with a blackmail scheme against Barbara! "I want Barbara to leave right now," she says, upset that Barbara's appearance has upset the balance of her home. Aidan declines, and Lily begins to think of other options. Game interrupted, the players have all turned to other pursuits. Jamie tries to distract Julia, but she is focused on work. Amanda brings Jonathan a drink to Jonathan, realizing there are still feelings between Jonathan and Lily. Amanda is understanding about Lily and the fact that he is going to leave ConFusion. She deals the cards and the two play another game.
The Lights Go Out!
At Wildwind, Annie is stunned that Ryan has gone to such extremes to re-create Emma's book. Upset that he has done this because she wrote the book for Emma only and upset that she keeps telling him no and he continues to ignore her, she asks him to leave. When he doesn't, Annie asks how many more times she must turn down the proposal. "Well, you could just say yes," he suggests, upsetting her even more. She compares how she feels to the book. "It's a book, it isn't real," she tells him sadly. Ryan asks Annie to let him into her book. For a moment, the two play in their fairytale but when Ryan asks what the future holds, Annie orders him to leave!
Tensions Mount in P.V.
At Fusion, Kendall tells Annie that turning down Ryan's "farce" of a proposal is the smartest thing she has ever done. Annie is livid at Kendall's insinuation but when she finds out that Kendall is pregnant it takes a little of her anger away. Still, she can't believe that Kendall is obsessing over Ryan! Kendall doesn't see it as obsessing, she sees it as caring for the father of her son and wanting the best second home for Spike. Annie marrying Ryan wouldn't create a happy home, she explains, because Ryan doesn't love her the way she loves him. Annie goes on the attack, telling Kendall that the reason she won't hire her is because of Ryan, not because she isn't qualified. Kendall surprises her by hiring her, anyway. Di comes in, welcoming Annie and getting the new hire paperwork going. Kendall throws a little fit when they leave and Zach catches her. When he asks what is wrong, Kendall tells him about the confrontation with Annie and her hiring the other woman. Zach smiles, telling Kendall that Annie isn't the only one who thinks Kendall wants Ryan all to herself! He explains that he knows she doesn't want Ryan but that she does want to run his life. "Yes, okay, I want to run his life," she admits, telling him it is how she is built. He pulls her to him and they kiss. Erica arrives, stunned to hear them talking about their new baby!
In another part of the office, Annie throws her own tantrum with Di. Di tells her to change her mind then and say yes to Ryan! She paints a happy family picture between Annie and Ryan, but Annie can't picture that herself. "I'm not going to marry a man just to tick off Kendall," she says and leaves.
In the Wildwind stables, Jonathan challenges Ryan to fight for Annie and for Cambias. Ryan doesn't see that walking away from Cambias is a loss, and tries to make Jonathan see his enthusiasm for his own project. Jonathan, though, doesn't see things that way. He believes Ryan is giving up on Annie just like he gave up on Cambias. Slowly, Ryan realizes that Jonathan is really upset about Lily! "Since I've gotten better, everything that I love is slipping away," Jonathan admits, wondering how he can move forward. He asks Ryan to fight for Annie so that he won't wind up the same way. Trying to make Jonathan see that he has a lot to offer, Ryan encourages him to make some new plans, including a better job! He also assures his brother that he isn't giving up on Annie. When Ryan suggests asking Zach for a job with Cambias, Jonathan tells him about their confrontation. Ryan tells him to go back anyway. Ryan hugs him, telling him to go for it as Emma comes into the stables. Jonathan leaves Emma and Ryan alone to play. Ryan takes Emma to the house, reads her a story and puts her down for a nap. Annie arrives home to find her room redecorated in a childish interpretation of a queen's room, just like Emma's story. Ryan hugs her, welcoming her to the castle.
