Happy Birthday, Tad!

Thursday, August 30 2007

Annie is shocked at the pocket watch and note attached and begins to shake. Ryan asks about the gift and who sent it. She says it's from her father and must be his way of forgiving her for the past. She trashes the note before Ryan can get a glimpse, saying it was an apology. Ryan doesn't believe her. She tells him she wants to visit her father, alone, but Ryan doesn't want her to go. He insists on going with her, certain that there is still more going on that she has been telling him. Ryan tells Annie he has run a check on Neil McDermott, Terry's brother, and he is in prison and demands that she tell him who has her so scared now. Ryan tries to reassure her by saying he will always love her and then suggests that they go to Chicago together. Ryan calls Zach, telling him about the trip to Chicago. Annie returns, ready to go. Ryan assures her that going to Chicago, together, is the right thing to do. He goes to check on some things and Annie draws the watch from her pocket, unsure what it means. She has a panic attack and sees Ryan falling out of a window! With blood trickling out of his mouth, she says she can't let Ryan know anything about her past!

Zach Holds Ian!

Wednesday, August 29 2007

The Slater's and Lavery's are getting ready for the big move. Kendall is relaxed after getting some read sleep but Annie is still worried - and won't tell anyone why. Zach leaves to visit the hospital but Kendall stays behind for an appointment with her doctor. Ryan suggests Emma stay behind with him but Annie wants to take Emma to work with her. Ryan leaves to get Spike dressed for the day. Kendall asks if Annie is really okay with the move and is assured that Annie loves the idea. Annie leaves to get Emma ready for the day. Alone, Kendall calls Dr. Hilliard! He immediately turns down helping Spike! Kendall begs Dr. Hilliard to take on Spike's case; he tells her about Aidan's visit and Kendall apologizes to him. Angry over Aidan's visit, Dr. Hilliard tells her that he won't deal with private investigators and hangs up. Ryan returns and Kendall vents on him. Ryan defends his actions, saying they needed to know more about Dr. Hilliard; Kendall could care less about his reasons and tells him that he just ruined Spike's best chance to hear! They argue and Ryan agrees to go with him to meet with Dr. Hilliard - together - so they can both speak with him. Before Kendall can say anything else, they leave.

Babe is beginning to field calls about The Kiss - everyone is loving what Ava did! Amanda can't believe it and tells Babe she is quitting with the handler position. Babe tells her to get a grip and back on the job. Talking to Amanda, Babe convinces her to stay on as Ava's handler to try to help the girl grow up! Annie arrives with Emma; Amanda takes her off to the back room and Annie and Babe discuss Ava's headlining ability. Babe mentions not being able to reach Annie, who tells her about changing the numbers. Curious, Babe wonders what is going on. Annie tells Babe a little about the strange phone calls, moving in with the Slaters and the other changes. Babe asks more questions about the phone calls and Annie tells her everything. Trying to calm her, Babe says the rose petals were probably just Fusion props that were misplaced. Annie is beginning to think that all the stress is only in her head. Babe tells her to fill Ryan in on the whole thing but Annie refuses. Babe realizes there is more to the story. Telling Annie about how she kept secrets from JR, Babe tells her that Ryan will understand and they will make it through - as long as Annie is honest with him. Annie isn't so sure.

Annie returns to the house as Ryan and Spike arrive. Ryan hands her a box that was delivered earlier and she opens it. Inside is a gold pocket watch with a note, asking Annie where she will be on "our anniversary". She begins to shake!

Moving Day!

Tuesday, August 28 2007

Kendall and Zach are stunned at Annie's offer that they all live together. Ryan doesn't like the idea at all, wondering why Annie would want them all to live together when five minutes before she didn't even want Spike in the same house! Ryan says he'll go along with the plan on one condition - that they move into the condo instead of the Slater home. Zach and Ryan leave to talk about the new living arrangement, leaving Annie and Kendall to do the same thing. Watching over Spike, Kendall tells Annie that she thinks she could be losing her mind! She tells Annie about the woman in the hospital; Annie sympathizes.

On the terrace, Ryan tells Zach that moving in together is a huge mistake. Zach agrees but doesn't see any other options because of the way Kendall has been acting. "What she needs right now is to be with her two boys," Zach says, but Ryan doesn't care about Kendall issues - he only cares about what is best for Spike. He believes Spike staying with him, away from Kendall, is the best thing. Zach isn't sure how to answer that in light of Kendall's behavior at the hospital. Zach watches the women for a moment, still surprised at Annie's suggestion. Ryan tells Zach about Annie's strange behavior lately. Telling Ryan that all of them being together could be good for Annie and Kendall, he asks the other man to go along just for a little while. They return to the girls and tell them that moving in together is a go. Annie apologizes for not telling Ryan about the plan earlier. Kendall and Zach leave with a promise from Ryan and Annie that they'll be at the house in the morning. When they are alone, Ryan begins to question Annie again about her real motivations for moving in with Zach and Kendall. Annie insists that there isn't a problem to talk about - because she has already found a solution!

Keeping Secrets

Monday, August 27 2007

Without giving him any reasons, Annie insists to Ryan that Spike cannot stay with them. She asks Ryan if Kendall really wants a break from Spike, trying to convince him that Spike would be better off with her. Ryan is completely confused. He tells Annie it's the best decision because Kendall can come visit anytime, so can Zach. This throws Annie into a new tailspin, believing "people" will be coming in and out of the house at all hours - and what the could mean. Ryan tells her that Kendall and Zach aren't just people and it isn't a big deal. Annie still has concerns. Ryan realizes something more is going on but has no idea how to get the truth from her; instead he tells Annie he was wrong to spring the new living situation on her. The subject changes to Greenlee. Ryan can't believe that Annie is no identifying with Greens! For the umpteenth time, he asks Annie to share her secrets with him. "It's nothing," she insists. That only makes Ryan more certain that she is keeping something from him. She leaves to check on Emma. In their bedroom, Emma is playing with flower petals and singing "Ring Around the Rosie"; that scares Annie. She tells Emma that they need to go someplace safe and wonders where that safe place might be.

Back in the main room, Ryan answers the door, surprised to see Kendall and Zach there. She takes Spike, leaving Ryan and Zach to talk. Zach tells Ryan that their keeping Spike isn't going to work; Kendall says they're taking Spike home - tonight! Ryan tries to make her see that his keeping Spike is only for a few days, until she's back on her feet but she refuses. Annie returns and tries to offer a solution. Before she can say anything, Ryan tells Kendall and Zach that they are making a mistake by taking Spike when Kendall is worn out and not eating. Zach asks Annie about her solution - she suggests that they all live together, at Zach and Kendall's!

Is Kendall Losing It?

Friday, August 24 2007

Ryan can't believe Greenlee is in his home, even when Annie explains about the asthma attack he doesn't want Greens there and tells her to go. Quickly distracted by Emma, who is really happy to see Spike, he doesn't notice that Greenlee sticks around. Greenlee can't believe how good Spike looks; Ryan tells her Spike is great - unless you count the fact that he can't hear anything! Ryan hands Spike off to Annie and escorts Greenlee outside. In the hall he asks if she is using Annie to get close to Spike! Greenlee denies it and brings up alternatives for Spike's care. Ryan can't believe it and tells her to back off - or he'll get a restraining order to keep her away from his family! She just keeps talking about looking for alternatives and Ryan gets more angry. He doesn't want her involved in Spike's life at all! "If you ever come near him again. . ." Ryan trails off, leaving the threat unsaid. Greenlee walks away. Ryan returns to Annie and she defends Greenlee, saying she wasn't responsible for the asthma attack and she didn't know Spike would be at their home. Ryan asks her to be honest with him. Instead Annie asks why he brought Spike to their home! Ryan explains about the problems with Ian and his worries about Kendall's thought processes. He believes Spike wil be safer with them than with Kendall! Annie still isn't sure that Spike staying with them is the right thing; Ryan can't believe her. Annie tries to explain her fears without giving him her reasons or telling him her fears about the weird phone calls. The phone rings and she practically jumps out of his skin. It's Kendall, calling about Spike. She tells him about the blanket and Ryan offers to drop by and get it, sure that Spike won't miss it. Kendall asks to talk to Spike and reluctantly Ryan puts the phone against his ear so he can feel Kendall talking to him. Ryan takes the phone back, Kendall reminds him of the blanket and then they hang up. Seeing her chance to keep Spike out of their house, Annie tells Ryan that Spike needs to be with his mother!

She's got those feelings - again!

Thursday, August 23 2007

It's late but Annie takes Emma to work at Fusion, sits her down at a desk to color and then goes to get some of her own work. Greenlee surprises her, putting Annie on edge. Getting herself under control, Annie begins to psycho-analyze Greens, telling her that things aren't what she wants them to be but that things will get better. Greenlee opens up to Annie a little, telling the other woman that she can't forget what she did to Spike. In the next breath, Greens wonders why Annie is speaking to her at all. She brings up Terry, wondering if that is why Annie seems so in tune with Greens' problems. Annie returns to working but when she spots some rose petals, gets nervous again. This makes Emma nervous and gains Greenlee's attention. She wonders what is wrong with Annie. The roses spark a panic attack, which triggers Annie's asthma. She grabs her inhaler and Greenlee brings her some water. She tries to blame the panic on Alexander leaving behind dead flowers when he was killing the Fusion girls and starts to leave. Greenlee won't let her go alone and offers to drive Annie home herself. Annie decides to make tea once they arrive home. Emma offers to help and then ropes Greenlee into helping, too. A few minutes later Ryan arrives home with Spike - just as Greenlee comes out of the kitchen with Emma!
