::::JR Reaches a Breaking Point::::

Krystal is waiting anxiously at by the phone. Sydney and Colby come in. Sydney's discovered that Colby's hidden the missing Faberge egg in Sydney's backpack in order to make her look like a thief. Krystal finally loses her patience with Colby, yells at her and wants to know why she's so bent on hurting everyone.

She assures Colby that she doesn't have to act out to get Adam's attention. An unrepentant Colby replies that she knows more secrets—including one about Krystal and Tad Martin. Colby isn't capable of feeling anything—even about the people she loves, says Krystal.

A Shattered JR.

Adam and Krystal are going through the baby things he bought—all pink! They let Colby know, and she reacts in form—jealous and sarcastic. Adam lets Krystal know that he's going off to his attorney to change his will to create a trust for baby Charlotte and one for Krystal. She doesn't want him to—or to face the fact they he might leave them. She thanks Adam for all his love and support, and they pledge their eternal love.

Babe apologizes to a shattered JR for sleeping with Josh. Her reason is that she felt "left out" of JR's life—but it was a "horrible, one-time mistake." He's deeply upset, especially since so many people—David, Krystal, Colby, etc.—knew the truth.

Just when he's most upset, Colby enters with Little A, notes that they're not upset and wants to know why. She figures something's up. After she leaves, Babe reiterates her love for him and her belief that their marriage can survive—even though they've been to hell and back. Can he forgive her? She forgave him for trying to kill her—she loves him with everything she has—and begs him to stop staring at her and talks to her. He has only one question: Did she tell Josh she loved him? An anguished JR tries to leave the room; she begs him not to leave.

They run, yelling, into the foyer—where they're seen by Adam, Krystal and Colby. JR rushes out and drives away. Babe thinks he's going after Josh. Adam goes off to the Valley Inn, searching for JR. JR's in his room, sucking up liquor from the mini-bar, and hallucinating about seeing Josh and Babe making love.

Babe goes to conFusion, looking for Josh. Finding him out on the roof, she's happy to see he's ok—until she sees Erin.

Emma comes home:::

Sean and Colby are at JB's, but he makes it clear that now they are "just friends." She acts as if it's OK, but leaves the restaurant looking disturbed. When she gets home, she lashes out at Sydney, accusing her of stealing her boyfriend. Sydney suggests that he's just not that into her—especially since she gave it up to him so easily.

While her back is turned, Colby slips something into Sydney's backpack.

After Colby leaves, Amanda comes into BJ's, where Sean comes on to her. She's sad about her interactions with Jonathan. At first, she rebuffs him, but after a while, they sit down to talk.

Amanda loves Jonathan:::

Sean comes over to the Chandler manse to see Colby, and to "start over." She's behind in writing English class term paper, and he offers her some downloaded papers "for inspiration", warning her not to copy them. She complains about all her pressure to combine school and a social life.

Sydney comes home and sees the two of them together. Colby sarcastically suggests she go do some housework, and then ignores her. Colby overhears Sydney trashing her and Sean defending her, and asking her not to put down Colby. Later the two of them compete for Sean's attention. When Sydney's not watching, Colby slips something into her backpack.

Jack wants his wife back:::

Babe can't get Josh out of her mind—and JR walks in as she's dreaming of her lover. He has Babe spin the globe and choose a destination for their next trip.

Colby comes in and reminds Babe that this is her family—not Babe's— and that she wants her and her mother gone. Colby reminds her that she knows about Babe and Josh, and is challenging her when an angry JR returns. "Do you want me to make Colby disappear?" he asks. Colby yells at him for taking JR's side.

After Colby leaves, JR broaches the subject of them finding their own home, while Colby eavesdrops. They get on the phone, scheduling appointment with realtors.

My father or my husband?

Sean comes to Colby to see if she's ok. He attempts to straighten out things between them, and is sorry that her first time turned out to be such a disaster. He didn't know she was a virgin.

Adam bursts in angrily, demanding to know what Sean is doing in his house—after he was warned to stay away from Colby. He says he'd do anything in the world to keep his daughter from being disrespected—and shatters a priceless vase to prove his point. Adam suggests Sean drop off the face of the earth. He tells Colby that he'll do anything to protect her, and urges her to have respect for herself.

Zendall is back!

David introduces himself to Colby at the restaurant, and she trashes Krystal and Babe. He tells her that it's JR who can't be trusted. She tells him about Babe's hookup with Josh.

Can these marriages be saved?

"I'm ready to talk—and to listen," JR tells Babe. The rest of the family leaves them in private. How did everything go so wrong, asks Babe, with all the love between them? "Our marriage is broken, JR."

Winifred brings Little Adam in and they play with him for a moment. JR reminds Babe that their son is a reminder of how good they had it. JR calls the family back in—he has an announcement. "I want the truth out. Josh never touched Colby. It was a lie—a lie that almost ruined us."

JR agrees that he knows the reason this is true. "I wanted Josh out of our lives—and almost let Colby ruin us." Colby is enraged at JR; he asks Babe to come back to their marriage, if it's not too late. He's not the man she married, and there's no reason for her to believe him now—but he wants to spend the rest of his life being the man she deserves. They embrace, and promise to make their marriage work this time.

Krystal reams Colby for being a liar; Adam gets on the phone to clear Josh.

Marriages in Peril

Babe tells Colby that the lies "end now." Colby tells JR that Babe led Josh on—and seduced her as a substitute for Babe.

JR agrees that Colby has a point. Why is Babe continuing to side with Josh? Babe begs him not to allow his anger to ruin another man's life.

Babe tells JR that she regrets pushing things with Josh. She tells him she believes in him and in his ability to be a "better man" and asks him to help Josh the same way she helped him. JR is incredulous at her request.

Babe admits to JR that she's made many mistakes, but says all she's ever wanted was a successful marriage.
