...And, He's Out!

At the Chandler mansion, Krystal calls the institution to get Adam released but can't get past an attendant. Tad comes in, telling her that Adam needs the time to relax. Babe comes in, asking where JR is, but neither have seen him. Krystal tells Tad that sending Adam to the institution was wrong but as far as Tad is concerned having Adam anywhere near his child is just waiting for disaster to strike. Babe intercedes between them, telling Tad to back off and Krystal to understand that Tad has parental rights! Tad hands Krystal a paper, he's gotten a court date! She can't believe what he has done and angrily tells him that it won't work - she and Adam will raise their child! More angry than ever, Tad tells her that she won't win. "If you want my baby to have a good life then stop this," Krystal says. Tad reminds her that he is the baby's father and he has rights. Telling him that she isn't part of the Martin/Chandler feud, Krystal tells him that she won't let Charlotte be part of it either. Tad leaves and Babe follows, asking him to calm down and think things through. She asks him to back off, just a little, for the baby's sake. Tad heads upstairs. Returning to Krystal, Babe asks her to understand Tad's side of things but Krystal cuts her off. She doesn't want to hear anything about Tad being the baby's father! "I thought I could count on you," Krystal says! Babe won't back down, though. She wants Krystal to face the fact that Tad isn't going anywhere! Krystal leaves to be alone. JR returns, telling Babe about voting Adam out of Chandler Enterprises. She wonder what Adam will do to retaliate. The next morning, Tad, Babe, JR, Colby and Krystal are enjoying breakfast when Adam finally returns home - with his new son! It's Josh!

A Man With A Plan!

At the sanitarium, Janet pokes Adam to make sure he is real. Amanda arrives, surprised to see him in a straitjacket. JR walks in behind her, telling them all that Adam is getting what he deserves! Amanda pulls Janet from the room, but before she leaves Janet promises to help Adam make his adjustment. "You will regret this," Adam tells Jamie, promising to get revenge! Jamie doesn't back down. Instead, he tells Adam to leave Tad and the baby alone or else! Jamie gets in Adam's face, telling him that he deserves to sit, alone and without the ability to move, so he will see what could happen if he doesn't back off from Tad and the baby! Jamie leaves, telling Amanda as he passes her that he'll fill her in later. Before she can follow him out, Adam asks for a favor - he wants her spy on Jamie for him! Amanda listens, but then tells Adam she won't help. Anger gets the best of him, and he tells her she owes him because of Janet's past actions! Angry herself, Amanda leaves. Janet returns to see Adam, who apologizes to her for his actions. She is happy to see him and offers to help with anything he needs. Adam tells her if she can help with one thing, he might be able to help her in return! Meanwhile, Colby arrives at the front desk, asking to see Adam but the attendant won't let her through. Jamie meets her in the admittance office, telling her to back off and go to school. Amanda comes in, asking Jamie to be careful and telling him about her meeting with Adam. Colby leaves, but rather than going to school, heads for the park where she runs into Sean. He apologizes for not taking the right precautions the night they made love. He doesn't want her to sleep around and keeps harping on that, making Colby wonder what is going on with him. "Erica cheated on Uncle Jack," he says, and goes on to say that Barbara is sticking close to Jack and his family is falling apart. He plans to make Barbara leave town, and plans to go with her. Colby asks him to reconsider. "You're all I have," she says!

Strange Things Are Happening!

At the Chandler mansion, Babe and JR hear Tad and Krystal hollering for help inside the locked room. JR grabs a key, but it doesn't work. Colby arrives to help while inside the room, Tad is on the verge of laughter. Babe gets an ice pick from the kitchen and they try to scrape through the glue Adam put in the lock. Babe, JR and Colby make it into the room as Tad hangs up from Jamie. Tad assures them that Adam will likely show up any minute and goes off to look for breakfast. JR, Colby and Babe search the house and grounds but Adam is nowhere to be found. A moment later, Adam arrives wearing the fur coat and white flip-flops with JR and Aidan in town. Two medical workers arrive soon after to take Adam away to the sanitarium! Krystal tells Tad to call off whatever he has started but Tad won't take responsibility, reminding her that he was locked up with her all night long because of Adam. Adam gets dressed and then begins blaming both Tad and Krystal for his naked-escapade. Colby begs the medical team not to take him away, and Krystal takes up the cause as well. JR interrupts her, telling Krystal that the workers might be able to help Adam! Krystal won't listen. Adam approaches Jamie and Aidan, explaining that they must have drugged him, then stripped him and left him in the boardroom. Angry, he grabs Jamie and begins to shake him! Aidan and Tad drag him away from Jamie, and the medical workers take Adam away. Telling Tad she will never forgive him, Krystal storms off. "Go ahead and hate me," Tad says, "Just as long as you're safe!" Jamie waves goodbye as Adam is taken from the mansion. In the parlor, Tad tells Krystal that after everything Adam has done, he isn't in the least sorry for the stunt! Krystal begins to have stomach pains!

At the sanitarium, Adam is trussed up in a straight jacket and vows revenge. Janet comes in, surprised to see him. "What are you doing in my neck of the woods?" she asks.

The Lights Go Out!

At the Chandler mansion, Tad looks very comfortable in the company of four very angry Chandlers - Krystal, Adam, Babe and JR. Krystal tells him to leave, but Tad isn't going anywhere. Colby and Sean look on, both uncomfortable, as Adam threatens Tad! Tad baits Adam, hoping he will attack him, giving him a reason to take the baby when it's born. Sean pulls Colby from the room and asks her to leave with him for Miranda's birthday party. Colby won't leave her family, though. Back in the parlor, Krystal calls Derek, asking him to arrest Tad for breaking and entering. Tad sits comfortably on the sofa, being sarcastic. Derek tells Krystal she is on her own and hangs up! As the adults fight, Winifred comes in with little A, singing Happy Birthday! Babe and JR turn their focus to Little A as Colby brings in a bunch of gifts. Adam stands quietly beside the fireplace as the presents are distributed and the focus turns to the boy for a few moments. Later, Babe and JR begin to clean up the party mess. JR apologizes to Babe, again, for his past behavior and asks her to believe that he really has changed this time. She can't, though. Outside the parlor, Krystal thanks Colby for the party, but Colby has other things on her mind. She believes that Krystal has only been using Adam for his money! "You messed this all up. How could you let this baby be Tads?" she asks. Krystal tries convince Colby that Charlotte can still be her sister and Adam's child. Colby warns her to stay away from Adam before she hurts him even worse! Tad and Adam leave the parlor to talk alone! Adam tells Tad that if he will help him, he'll make sure Tad gets full custody of the baby! "The day I trust you is the day hell freezes over," Tad says, telling him that using the baby to get his revenge on Krystal is the wrong thing to do. Returning to the parlor, Tad sits alone. Krystal approaches Adam who ignores her and passes by as Tad watches. He hands Krystal a glass of milk as JR comes back in, telling them that Babe and little Adam are missing! Tad tells them not to panic as the lights go out!

Tensions Mount in P.V.

At the Chandler mansion, Colby asks Sean to help put her family back together. Adam arrives home, ordering Winifred to have all of the locks changed. Seeing Sean, Adam orders him to grab a hammer! "Krystal is never setting foot in this house again!" he says. Adam and Sean proceed to board up the doors, windows and the tunnel entrances as Colby tries to make them stop! "This is total nonsense," she says. She tries to make Sean stop next, but he is excited and thinks he should have done the same to keep Barbara out of Jack's home! JR, Babe and Krystal arrive, trying to get into the house but they can't get the doors opened! Colby begs Adam to let them in as JR crashes through a French door, telling Adam that he is staying! He undoes the board over the door, letting Krystal and Babe inside! Together, they storm into the parlor to find Tad waiting. "Heck of a party," he says, "make room for one more!"

A Broken Home

In the study, Babe sees Colby and is surprised that Colby is as upset as she is. Colby asks what they are now - friends or family or nothing? She wants to know how she is supposed to feel about Babe and Krystal now. Krystal walks in, telling Colby that she loves her and that she does love Adam, but Colby isn't ready to listen to her step-mother. She leaves the room. Outside, Colby sees Adam setting fire to Krystal's things and tosses some of Charlotte's things into the fire as well. "My Charlotte. My Lottie," he cries, and begins to scream from the pain in his heart. The emotion freaks Colby out and she calls Stuart, asking for help. Alone with her father, she tries to calm Adam. He is in a rage, though, and knocks her away from him. Falling down and crying, Colby begs him to calm down. Stuart arrives and pulls Adam to him. Stuart is stunned when Adam tells him that Charlotte isn't his child - she is Tad's! Inside, Krystal hears the commotion and looks out the window. She sees Adam burning Charlotte's things and begins to have pains in her belly! Babe calls for help as Josh comes in the room. He advises them both to leave. Breathing into a paper bag, Krystal tells them it's only a panic attack and refuses to leave for the hospital. Babe pulls Josh outside, angry that he pushed Krystal into telling the truth and that he tried to cover with her by telling her that things were fine. "Thank you for saving my life," she says, "now stay out of it!"

Josh leaves and runs in to JR, who is ticking like a time bomb. It's obvious he wants to hit someone, but doesn't give in to the urge. Instead, he attacks Josh with words. "You set a bomb off in this house," he says, unbelievingly. He can't believe that Josh had the nerve to come to the mansion after setting the events in motion! Josh still believes he has done the right thing, though. He leaves without another word. Adam comes inside and pours a drink. He offers one to JR, too! JR sees through the offer, and tries to get through to Adam by telling him they can get through this together - like families do every day. Adam still isn't ready to listen, though, and JR leaves. Tad comes back in and the two nearly bond over their anger at Krystal. But seeing Adam is in a rage and could take it out on Krystal and the baby, Tad tries reason with him. It would be wrong, he says, to make Charlotte pay for Krystal's mistakes. Krystal and Babe hear their raised voices and come back in the parlor. Adam tells Tad to take her away. "Nobody is taking me anywhere," she says, refusing to leave her home. She wants to fight for their love and she wants Adam to fight, too! Colby and JR come back in and Colby speaks up, telling them they need to fix the problem. JR reaches out to her but she leaves and so does Tad. Babe tries to step in but Krystal asks her to back away. She wants to fix this mess herself. Adam makes an angry move toward Krystal and JR steps between them. "You touch her and I'll drop you," he says. Adam leaves, telling JR that the "lying, cheating" Carey women are all he has left! JR takes Krystal and Babe upstairs, telling them that he will protect them. He leaves them alone and Babe tries to comfort her mother. Outside, Tad struggles to make sense of the news.

The Truth Hurts!

Colby eavesdrops on Adam and Krystal, learning the truth about Charlotte before going back to the terrace to wait for Sean. She needs a friend right now! Sean arrives and the two talk things over but Colby is still unsure what to do. "I thought Krystal was for real," she says, taking her father's side. Sean tells her that trusting an adult was her first mistake. "We just have to stay out of their way," he says. He sees a lot of Barbara in Krystal and suggests that Colby simply smile and pretend to go along but instead keep forging her own path. Colby isn't ready to give up on her family, though. She wants to fix them so they can be together again like they have been for the last few weeks. "I want my family," she says. Sean hugs her, trying to comfort her.

Adam Learns The Truth

At the Chandler mansion, Krystal waffles on her decision to tell Adam her secret. Before she can say anything, JR comes in, telling her to keep quiet! Krystal asks him to leave and let her come clean. Instead, he tells Krystal to trust him with her secret but Krystal doesn't want this secret to be between she and Adam any longer. Hearing their raised voices, Colby comes in, asking what the fuss is about. Krystal asks Adam to take Colby away so she can speak privately with JR. Once alone, JR tells her not to listen to anything Josh may have said. He believes that Josh is trying to break apart their family by preying on Krystal's fears! "I would never use Charlotte to force Babe into anything," he says, reminding Krystal that Babe wants her to keep quiet. When that doesn't work, JR asks about Adam and how the news could hurt him. "I have to stop lying to him," Krystal says. JR believes telling Adam will turn him into the old, vengeful Adam Chandler. "Think of me at my worst multiplied by hundreds," he tells her, asking her to think of Charlotte's well-being. He suggests making up a story about her past so that Adam won't suspect anything. Outside, Adam can't stand being left out of the loop. Remembering that Colby something, he demands that she tell him what she knows. Colby says tells him the secret involves Tad! Adam heads back inside, telling Colby and JR to leave. On the terrace, JR makes Colby tell him what she old Adam and then takes off. Back inside, Adam begs Krystal to just come clean, that he knows Tad is involved and wants to know what is going on! In tears, Krystal tells Adam how messed up Tad was after Greg Madden's death and how she visited him. "I went to bed with with him," she says! Immediately, Adam knows the truth - that Charlotte is Tad's baby!

Not So Fast, Dad!

At the Pine Valley Mall, Adam breaks the news about Babe to an excited Colby. She can't believe what she is hearing and can't wait to see Babe. Adam asks her to stay with him and shop for Charlotte and Krystal. The two buy out several stores and Colby comes up with a plan to help Babe and JR get back together. Adam tells her not to push, and Colby reluctantly agrees. She would rather help her family, though.
