Cooking Up Trouble!

Outside Krystal's condo Colby runs into Sean. He's been trying to call her but hasn't been able to get through. Colby tells him she could forgive the drugs but not his messing around with Ava behind her back! Still, she isn't going to let him take the blame for the drug charges. Unable to listen any longer, Sean pulls Colby into a passionate kiss! Colby pushes him away, trying to keep things platonic. She offers to make up a story about someone planting the drugs but Sean turns her down. He doesn’t want her anywhere around at the hearing. He asks her to go to a concert with him, wanting to spend just a little time alone with her. She agrees but only if he will consider letting her help him! They leave for the concert. At the concert, Sean takes Colby to the boathouse. They begin talking about his hearing the next day, unable to keep their minds off of it. Sean apologizes to Colby for ruining her prom and asks her to enjoy their own private prom night - tonight! As the concert continues, they begin to dance. They kiss!

Dream A Little Dream

Meanwhile, Krystal sings to Jenny, wandering through her condo. She sings "Dream A Little Dream" to get Jenny to sleep but the baby is colicky and won't go down. Babe and Colby are still away when Krystal returns inside. She tries to send both girls off to bed but neither wants to leave her to deal with Jenny alone. Krystal suggests they work in shifts and Babe and Colby head off for a quick nap. Krystal begins to sing again. She imagines that Adam has come over to talk. He apologizes for his actions and tells her he loves her! Krystal opens the door and allows him to come inside. She wonders why he is really there and is shocked when Adam tells her he still loves her! "I can't get Adam Chandler out of my mind," she says to the baby and begins to pace.

When her shift with the baby is up, Krystal hands off to Colby who can't get Sean off her mind. She imagines him locked up in jail, chained to the walls. He breaks free when she arrives at the jail. Sean takes her in his arms, holding her close.

In the cellar, JR dreams that Adam won't pay his ransom! "You're not my son. You're nothing," Adam tells him. JR replies that he doesn't want to be a Chandler he is a Martin. JR, along with Tad and little A begin the song and dance routine "Everybody Wants To Be A Martin". Joe and Jamie arrive with Krystal, Colby and Jenny and they all begin singing and dancing. The music and singing gets a little crazy and out of sync and suddenly the room turns red and JR is dying on the floor. The scene switches to Adam, who is having a nightmare that JR is dead! "JR," he yells, jerking awake. The rest of the night Adam tosses and turns, unable to get the thought of JR out of his mind. The kidnapper calls, demanding $100 million dollars within the desk 36 hours - or JR will die!

Back at the Carey condo, Krystal and Colby wake up to a new morning. Colby leaves to check on Adam as Babe and little A come out for breakfast. Little A asks about JR and Babe tells him that his dad will be back from the business trip soon.

Can They Get Along?

Krystal is working with a repair man at The Comeback, trying to get the place ready to open. Stuart arrives to get to work on the murals. Krystal asks him to add a picture of himself onto the mural but Stuart hesitates, worried that people might mistake him for Adam! Stuart begins to imitate Adam, throwing Krystal for a second. "You do that way too well," she says. Colby arrives. Krystal asks about the prom but she doesn't want to talk about it. Krystal and Stuart team up, both worried about her. She tells them about the drugs but swears that they couldn't have belonged to him. Krystal and Stuart aren't so sure. "Sometimes people that you really care about can disappoint you," Stuart says. Colby says no matter what she owes Sean for keeping her name out of it. "If Sean was set up, he has earned my respect," Krystal says. She advises Colby that things between them aren't over is Sean felt so strongly about her that he kept her name out of the court room. Worried about him, Colby gathers her things to leave. Krystal hugs her. Kyle comes back and Krystal asks his opinion on the mural. He refuses to vote on it, worried that she might not like his choice. Kyle leaves. Stuart tells Krystal that her advice to Colby goes both ways: she can still like and care about Adam just like Colby can still care about Sean. Stuart leaves.

Who Kidnapped JR?

Colby sees Sean at the police station, shocked that he spent a night in jail. Sean tries to play it off but Colby is worried. He tells her to go home and not worry about him. She asks where the drugs came from, wondering if the drugs really belonged to him. Sean won't admit they were his and keeps trying to get her to leave. "Just turn around and walk away," he says and she finally leaves. Colby heads home. As she talks to Adam, the kidnappers call and tell Adam that they have JR! Adam plays it off, not wanting to worry Colby. The kidnapper hangs up, promising to get proof that they have JR. Colby wonders about the call but is too caught up with Sean to worry long. She tells Adam that the drugs couldn't belong to Sean. Adam advises her to forget about him but she can't. He reminds Colby about Sean and Ava, telling her that she doesn't know anything about the real Sean. Adam's phone rings again and Colby leaves. It's the kidnapper. He tells Adam to log on to a website and then hangs up. Adam logs on and sees the kidnappers and a beaten JR. Moments later the online feed goes dark. A package is stuffed under the door. Inside is JR's bloody shirt! Adam begins to worry, for real this time.

Spike is Mine!

At the Chandler mansion, Ava is putting the squeeze on Adam for more money for ridding Colby’s life of Sean Montgomery. Adam is resisting, telling Ava he’d already given her $500 for this project and it’s her own fault if she spent it already. But Adam doesn’t know who he’s messing with this time. Threatening to tell Colby that Adam was throwing money behind a Sean Montgomery setup, Ava demands another $1,000. But Adam is too busy worrying to balk when he finds out that Ava’s method of setting up Sean was to slip him a pocketful of drugs and have him busted on prom night. Is Colby right in the line of crossfire?

You bet she is! And this time the kind officers of Pine Valley PD, still holding a grudge about the time she and Sean got away with a limo joyride months before, intend to make the charges stick. And they think they’ve got a case this time. The drugs were in Sean’s jacket, which Colby was wearing, putting her in possession of the drugs. Time to call Adam for some Daddy Reinforcement!

Adam and Jack arrive at the police department – Adam throwing his weight and sputtering insults and threats as usual, and Jack going into lawyer-mode, trying to ferret Sean away into privacy before he can say anything incriminating. But it’s too late. The smitten Sean falsely confesses to buying the drugs just to get Colby off the hook. It works – the police will let Colby go – but the confession comes with a price. The judge won’t be available for arraignment until the morning, which means Sean will have to be held at the jail overnight. And though Jack doesn’t believe his story one bit, Sean’s sticking to it for the fair Colby’s sake.
