Jesse doesn't believe Opal is seeing anything and says he wants a beer; Angie leaves to pick some up. Opal admits that her visions aren't always completely accurate but insists that there is something bad going on.
Angie returns with the beer as Opal frantically begs Jesse to keep an eye out for trouble. To appease her, he says he'll keep an eye out. Opal promises to tell him if the cards say anything more and leaves. Jesse finds Opal's purse and follows her into the hall. He catches the women at the elevator. Krystal and Opal take off. Jesse turns - and the young girl is there! "No! You can't be here," he says!
Erica arrives at Opal's to find her still out of sorts because of the Tarot reading for Babe and Krystal. She tells Erica about it and then says the reading wasn't just about those women - it was about the whole town. Petey returns home and eavesdrops. Erica says she can feel the change and that must be why she kissed Adam! Opal can't believe it; Erica tells her not to worry because she is really just spying on Adam! She insists she is in complete control but Opal doesn't believe her. Petey knocks over a glass and then meows so Opal won't be suspicious. She tries to find the cat but can't and when she returns to the sitting room, realizes that Erica is daydreaming about kissing Adam!
Tad arrives at The Comeback and tries to distract Krystal but she demands to know what Opal meant by trouble. Opal says she has to go. Tad comforts Krystal, saying the cards don't mean anything and Opal likes being dramatic. He says they just need to concentrate on the present. "Life is peachy," he says and kisses her. Jesse arrives and tells Tad to call off Aidan and not to go behind his back again! He leaves and calls someone to tell them that he is lying to his friends and his wife!
Annie screams and bangs on the door until JR and Babe come in. She says she saw something and then the door opened and she was locked inside! JR goes to check it out. "He's still watching me," Annie says. JR returns moments later and says no one was in there. He goes to check with security as Babe tries to calm Annie. She brings up Richie and their talk; Annie says this isn't Richie but someone is watching her. She believes Ryan has had her followed and is trying to prove she is unfit! Babe tries to make Annie see reason but she insists that Ryan is doing all of this. JR walks in with Opal and tells them that no one has been on the grounds and she is safe. Opal asks to see Babe and JR alone and then tells them about the tarot card reading. Babe and JR don't believe her. She faints. They bring her around and Opal says it isn't just Babe; the whole town could be in danger! They try to calm Opal down; she asks if they are in love. They say yes and she tells them to hold on to one another. She leaves. JR and Babe kiss. Someone watches them.
Opal sits in front of an open window. A few tarot cards blow over and she whispers that something bad is coming.
Babe and JR are at The Comeback with Krystal when Opal arrives, upset. She shows them the destruction card she drew the night of Petey's accident; she believes that more danger is headed to Pine Valley. JR scoffs at her but Krystal and Babe listen intently as Opal says the danger could be about more than Petey's accident. Babe brings up their engagement and Opal apologizes for putting a damper on their happiness. She starts to leave but Krystal asks for another reading. Opal does a reading for JR and Babe. She says things look great when she pulls up the Lover's Card and the Wheel of Fortune. That is good enough for Babe, who leaves with JR. Krystal suggests calling them back but Opal says not to. She tells Krystal that there is bad news coming for the Carey women!
Opal is looking around frantically for Petey at home when Colby arrives. Jake calls to tell her he found Petey.
In the hospital, Petey dreams that Colby has declared her love for him. Adam tries to come between them but Petey dons a superhero outfit and destroys his enemy! He wakes, sees Colby beside him and says, "You love me." Colby is nonplussed. Opal walks in, hysterical, and grabs her son. Jake and Amanda walk in and tell him how lucky he is to be alive. Jake looks over Petey again. Colby notices a large burn on his chest; Jake says it will be fine in a day or two. He and Amanda leave. Opal starts in on Petey, asking where he was and why he left the house. Petey cuts her off and says he needs to talk to Colby alone. She leaves. Petey starts talking about old science projects and the aftereffects of lightning strikes, weirding out Colby. He insists that he is a changed man because of the strike and removes his glasses. "Look at me," he says and makes Colby smile. She turns to go and he asks her to stay. Colby says he seems more confident since the strike and leaves. Adam arrives and tries to intimidate Petey but his confidence makes Petey talk back to Adam, telling him that everything is taken care of. Opal returns and says Adam won't get away with whatever he is trying! She grabs him and leads him away.
In the hall, Opal asks Adam why he is chasing Erica! Adam says Erica is doing the chasing but Opal doesn't believe him. She says he better back off and then walks away.
