At the funeral home, JR and Colby hug. Krystal walks to the casket and places her hand on it, trying to feel Babe again. Adam arrives and hugs JR, then gives little A the stuffed cows. He places a hand on Krystal's shoulder; Colby is stunned at his compassion. Jesse and Angie arrive and pay their condolences. Stuart and Bianca arrive, followed by Jack. Stuart is first to talk; he calls Babe a ray of sunshine and then gives Krystal a painting of Babe! Krystal is next to speak; she says she never knew love until she held Babe. "I was put on this earth to be her momma," she cries. Tad goes to her side. Amanda and Bianca break down; Randi arrives. JR tells the gathering that he always knew he was meant to be Babe's husband. "I'm still trying to be a better man," he says, "and I hope she was as happy as she made me." JR goes to little A, takes him to the casket and there he tells the boy how wonderful Babe was. He says she'll have his heart forever and places a kiss on the casket. Amanda hugs JR and then leaves. Tad hugs him, too, and then JR tells little A goodbye so he can go home with Tad and Krystal. "Sweet dreams," Krystal whispers, placing a kiss on the coffin. She hugs JR and they leave. JR opens the casket and looks at Babe. He says his vows again and places her wedding ring on her finger. "I love you from the deepest place in my soul. And I will never stop," he says emotionally. David arrives and tells JR he deserves to be able to pay his respects since he left them to grieve in peace. He takes a bottle from his pocket, drinks and then hands it to JR! JR breaks the bottle and then grabs David and says he won't break him!
Will You Save My Daughter?
At the mansion, David says he is spending time with little A – and then demands custody of the boy! Adam orders him off the property. Krystal arrives to see little A and Adam gets even more upset. JR tells her about David's custody demands. Adam says he'll file a restraining order but Krystal says that isn't enough, especially since David hasn't been convicted of many of his crimes. She points out that JR's record is worse than David's. JR suggests upgrading the locks and Adam says he'll put cameras in the tunnels. Krystal tells them to listen. She says they must put their differences aside for little A's sake; she reminds them that last time David divided them and played them against one another. She says this time they have to work together to present a united front that David can't penetrate. She says they have to do this for Babe! Krystal brings some pamphlets for the flowers for the funeral but JR can't look at them and leaves. Adam offers Krystal and drink and a shoulder, calling Babe 'one of a kind' and 'a wonderful mother'. Krystal asks why he's had a change of heart about Babe; Adam says he is just being supportive. "You're a lousy liar," Krystal says and walks out. Adam is gazing at a picture of little A when JR returns and says they are leaving. Adam invites him to stay at the mansion but JR wants to live at Tad's for now. He warns Adam that once the mess with David is straightened out he is still leaving Pine Valley!
Angie Meets Rebecca!
Colby arrives at JR's room at Tad's and accuses him of drinking. He says he misses Babe. Colby reminds him of little A and JR goes downstairs to find Tad playing with the kiddo. Tad gives them some space and JR gives little A the magic seashell, telling the boy that because Babe is in heaven, the seashell is his now. Little A asks when Babe is coming back and JR tearily says she can't come home and hugs him. Tad returns and tells JR that he'll make it through this. He offers to let them stay at the house as long as JR needs. JR brings up Adam because little A keeps asking about him; Tad says Adam has been calling the house. Krystal returns and tells them that David is leaving. JR can't believe it and neither can Tad but Krystal says David meant what he said. She asks the men to believe David's decision for Babe's sake because he loved her and she made him a better man. Neither JR nor Tad believe he is really leaving.
Colby sees Petey outside the mansion; he tells her that Adam confessed to Erica and is now sending Petey away. Colby says Adam can't do that and goes inside. Petey follows. Colby says Adam is going to use his 'disappearance' to blame everything on him; she refuses to allow that and storms into the parlor. She tells Adam that he won't get away with sending Petey away! She goes off on Adam about JR; JR walks in and tells Colby to back off. He lets little A talk to Adam for a minute and then Colby and Petey take the boy outside. Adam expects JR to pummel him, too, and is surprised when JR remains calm. "I'm just here to tell you I'm done. I don't want to fight," JR says. Colby returns and listens to JR tell Adam he forgives him; Adam says he's done nothing that needs forgiveness. JR just keeps talking. Adam is on the verge of tears when JR says forgiveness is the only way he can stay off the bottle. He goes to the kitchen; Adam tears up Petey's check and says he has some changing to do! Colby hugs him. JR returns and the two of them go to the terrace – where they see David with little A!
Babe Dies!
David opens the door to Babe’s room to see J.R. holding her crying and saying goodbye. J.R. says, “She’s dead." David cries, “No!" and uses CPR to try to revive her. He’s in anguish. He talks to Babe and says she was the reason he came back. Krystal and Tad walk in. Krystal holds Babe and cries for her daughter. David leaves. Babe is ready to go to the morgue; Krystal and J.R. say their last goodbyes. J.R. says he loves her and always will. He kisses her tenderly. Krystal goes through a few items of Babe’s while J.R. watches. Krystal cries into Babe’s blouse. Tad enters and comforts her. J.R. pulls their wedding rings out of his pocket. Tad embraces J.R. as well as he cries for Babe. As they leave the Chapel, Ryan sees David and grabs him by the throat knocking him to the ground. He is sure that David has Emma. Joe interrupts to say this isn't the time. Babe just died. David says he arrived too late and that J.R. killed her. He walks away.
David Returns!
In the hospital room, JR lies down with Babe and holds her. Krystal comes to the room after the storm passes; Babe says JR saved her. When JR says he only wants to be with her, alive or dead, Babe admits that she knows she is dying. "And, no, you can't go with me," she says. Babe tells JR to be strong, every day, for little A and to tell him how much she loves him. Crying, JR promises. Babe tells him he can do this because she'll be in his heart forever. Krystal listens to them. Babe nearly passes out but then comes back around. She says they can't wait any longer and need to marry right away. JR carries Babe to the chapel as hospital workers rush to help their patients. Tad and Krystal watch them for a moment and leave. JR sits with Babe before the bank of candles and holds her. He says she saved him the moment she met him and tells her how much strength she has given him. "Before I met you I was suffocating. You taught me to breathe," he says as she cries. He kisses her. "You have to promise me to make little A feel like he can reach for the stars. Every day," she says. Babe leans against JR and then her body goes limp. JR breaks down. As he cries, the door opens – and David looks at them!
The Next Wave!
In her hospital room, Babe convinces JR to marry her again; Krystal and Tad come in and they break the news. Tad likes the idea and Krystal tells Babe to be happy, then hurries from the room. JR promises to handle the details and then leaves. Tad is with Krystal in the hall when JR catches up with them. He begs Krystal to hold it together for Babe's sake. "She can't know she is dying," he says and asks Krystal to be the matron of honor. He convinces her to be strong. Tad turns to Krystal, who is inconsolable. JR goes back to Babe's room and tells her stories of how she stole his heart. He kisses her. Krystal comes back inside and JR gives them some time alone. Krystal decides the room needs flowers and asks Babe what kind of music she wants. Babe takes her hand and says all she wants is the people she loves to be around her. Babe stops her. "It's okay," Babe says, "Mama, I know." Krystal tells Babe to rest but she refuses, afraid that if she sleeps now she'll never wake up. Krystal says she can beat this and cries; Babe tells Krystal not to tell JR that she knows; she says it is the last gift she can give JR. She asks to see little A.
Tad finds JR in the hall, holding back tears. Tad tells him to kiss Babe, tell her he loves her and hold her as long as he can. Tad asks what JR needs; he says he needs a minister – and a miracle! He takes little A into Babe's room. Babe sings, "You Are My Sunshine" to him. Krystal can't take it and goes into the hall. Tad hugs her. Opal walks up and asks about Babe; Krystal says she is dying and Opal falls apart. Krystal blames her because of the Tarot reading and yells at her. Tad tries to calm her down. "I know what it is to lose a daughter," Opal says and hugs Krystal. The women cry together and then Krystal returns to Babe to help her get ready for the wedding. Babe sniffs a daisy over and over and then Krystal places it in her hair. JR returns and watches the women. Krystal tells Babe she loves her and leaves. JR holds Babe's hand.
It's A Girl!
The ambulances get to The Comeback and Angie loads up everyone to get to the hospital.
At the hospital, Angie gives instructions for Babe and tells JR she has to get ready for surgery. Annie tries to get a police officer to listen to her worries about Emma but he is too busy. Jesse brings in Natalia and tells her she'll be fine and then turns to Annie, says the whole force has Emma's description and they can only wait. Colby sees JR and runs to him; Tad tells her about Babe's condition and Colby says Adam could be dead. JR doesn't care – he blames Adam for Babe's condition! Tad gathers the kids and prays. Aidan arrives and asks how they are. Tad tells him about Babe as Greenlee and Ryan walk in together. Aidan walks back out. Frankie sees Greenlee and tells her about Kendall; Ryan asks about the boys. Frankie says the boys are fine in the daycare area. Randi sees Frankie and runs to him. He says he has to get back to his patients, kisses her and runs back to the hall. Annie sees Ryan and tells him Emma is missing. Ryan won't listen to her. Corrinna arrives and confirms Annie's story; she is wounded from the tornado and says she hasn't been able to find Emma anywhere! As they are talking, Annie says she knows where Emma must be! Ryan walks away from her, not believing her. She says she'll find Emma on her own!
