Amanda finds Jake at the hospital but he is distracted with David and Taylor and puts her off. She says he should just concentrate on Taylor since she is the only woman he can think about and walks out! On her way out the door, she bumps into JR and he asks if she is okay. Amanda breaks down and says she is out of control and everything is wrong; she realizes JR's problems are worse that hers and apologizes. David sees them and watches. Amanda tells JR she'll be around if he needs a friend. He leaves. David follows Amanda and offers her a shoulder to cry on; she goes on about Babe and Jake. He says she wasted her time on Jake! She talks about Babe and offers him some of her pictures if he would like; they make plans to meet later. David leaves.
JR finds Angie; she tells him about David's plan for the memorial wing. JR is stunned.
Joe catches up with Jake and says he defended him; Jake says he doesn't need his father fighting his battles. Joe asks if Jake is upset at David's plans or because David brought up Carolyn. Jake doesn't answer. Adam and JR walk in and ask what is going on; Joe explains. JR says he'll sue the hospital if they go along with David's plans.
I Want To Bring My Daughter Back!
At home, Tad tells Krystal that the insurance came through on The Comeback. She isn't sure she wants to reopen and he says they can take their time. Tad checks his email and finds a message from the man who hired him to research Taylor. Krystal and Tad are both curious about the man but Krystal says he has to talk to Jake and Taylor before telling the stranger anything. JR and Little A arrive. "This is goodbye," JR says! Krystal hugs Little A and tells him to call her all the time and come back to visit; JR says they will visit and Krystal and Tad are welcome to visit them, too. Tad hugs JR and he leaves. Krystal breaks down in tears; Tad holds her. He says goodbyes are never easy but assures her and things will be fine.
JR takes Little A to the mansion to say goodbye to Adam and Colby; Colby is heartbroken and asks JR why he has to leave now. JR says he can't stay in Pine Valley. Adam sits with Little A and tells him that he loves him. Little A runs to JR's side and says Adam loves them; JR says they can visit and tells Little A to say goodbye. Adam asks if they can just say, "See ya later," and JR agrees. He and Colby walk out.
JR takes Little A to the cemetery. Krystal is there and says he can't take Little A away!
The Kidnapper Shoots at Ryan!
At J.R.’s Adam is grateful that J.R. has forgiven him and hopes he'll move back home. Colby asks J.R. to listen to Adam. Adam asks for a chance to prove he’s a better man, and Colby asks J.R. to try to be a family for a change.
A Ghost in Pine Valley!
At the funeral parlor, JR regains control of himself and gets rid of David's weapon; David says he is weak! Krystal arrives and tells JR that little A needs him; JR leaves. Krystal tells David he has to leave town. "Don't worry, I'll be gone before you know it," David says. Tad arrives a while later; Krystal tells him about David but then assures Tad that David is leaving.
At Tads, little A, Jenny and Kathy are dressed up and ready for trick-or-treating. JR takes the kids but Tad stays behind. JR returns with the kiddos a while later. He hugs little A and sees a portrait of Babe.
You Killed My Wife!
Tad and Krystal are talking about Babe at home when JR arrives. He says they will get through this. Krystal goes through a scrapbook of Babe's things; JR worries how little A will react not having Babe around. Tad says little A will be fine – because he still has JR! Little A walks in, needing help with his suit. JR focuses on him, Tad sends Krystal upstairs to dress and then answers the door. Little A asks JR when Babe will be home from heaven.
