At the wedding reception, as Aidan, Kendall and Zach try to figure out why Greenlee's suddenly fallen silent, she stares at them unbelievably, recalling Jack telling of their betrayal of her. In her mind, she plays out images of Aidan and Kendall making love and her anger becomes visible. First, she lays it on, Greenlee-style, sweetly calling Aidan's decision to take her back an incredibly unselfish act on his part. She announces that she's changed her mind and wants to have children after all. "Kendall," she says. "I'd like for you to carry Aidan's and my baby for us." She turns to Aidan. "After all, you'd have another shot at doing Kendall, you cheating, lying son of a..." Everyone is shocked into silence while Greenlee rants and raves that she knows what happened between the two of them. She discovers, through their silence, that Zach already knew about it. Greenlee gets more and more worked up, calling Kendall names and punching Aidan in the chest. "It was wrong and we've regretted it ever since," Aidan insists by way of apology. But Greenlee won't buy it. She says she and Zach should've made love while in the bomb shelter, too, and suggests that they do it now, angrily trying to rip his suit coat off of him. She then lunges at Kendall as she, too, tries to apologize. Greenlee's out of control, so Zach whisks her away. Alone, he explains to Greenlee that he didn't want to hurt her by telling her what happened. He asks her to try to understand what Aidan and Kendall did, to pick up the pieces and move on just like he has done. Aidan storms in on Zach and Greenlee, accusing Zach of sending him away so he would get killed. Zach's answer: a hearty punch to the face. "If I wanted you dead, you wouldn't be here right now," Zach breathes.
Wedding Day, Take Two!
The guests are arriving at the big event in force. Greenlee, trying to make small talk with Kendall and Zach, gets distressed when the chit-chat turns to the subject of Aidan, who she has spotted from across the room. She rushes to a window for air and sadly looks at her engagement ring. From across the room, Aidan looks on at her with a grin on his face. He steals up behind Greenlee and pulls her into an embrace. Even without kids, he tells her, he can't live without her. "I promised you a great life, and that's exactly what we're going to have," he says, then rushes off to get some champagne to celebrate their make-up. Greenlee breaks out in happy tears just in time for Jack to run into her. "Did Aidan do this to you?" he asks and she nods, still too happy to speak. Jack misunderstands Greenlee's tears and assumes she knows about Aidan and Kendall's night together. "Aidan and Kendall betrayed you, that's what they did! They betrayed you!" Jack says, pulling her into a hug. Greenlee shuts down, shocked, asking Jack to leave her alone to deal with what's going on alone. She looks across the room with sadness, anger and suspicion to Aidan and Kendall and Zach, who're none the wiser about what she knows. She continues to look at Aidan with a curious, betrayed look while the wedding goes on around her. After the ceremony is over, Aidan notices something is up with Greenlee. "Oh my God," she thinks in her head. "Aidan had sex with Kendall."
He Loves Her Not.
Jack is visiting Erica, confronting her about what she knows about Kendall and Aidan that she's keeping from Greenlee. Erica tries to be evasive and lies about what happened, saying it was all about a bridal shower surprise. Jack's not buying it. At first Erica won't come clean and asks Jack to just move on. But he won't and eventually he wears Erica down and she has to admit that there's more to the story. She tells Jack everything and he's ticked. "I don't know what to do with this information," he says. "You let her be happy," Erica warns.
Everybody Has A Secret...
Jack arrives at the prison to see Carmen; his briefcase is searched as Kendall and Zach arrive to see Erica. The guard takes all of their cell phones as Jack asks about Aidan and Jake. Zach assures Jack that Aidan is now off the payroll - thanks to Greens. All three are taken to the meeting rooms. Erica and Carmen are waiting. Carmen flirts with Jack and Erica tells Jack to watch out. Jack takes Carmen aside to discuss her case as Erica asks about Jake's rescue. They assure her that things are fine with Jake and on all levels of their relationship. Kendall shows her mother's day cards from the boys. Across the room, Jack tells Carmen that she has a real shot at beating the charges against her. Carmen says Jack has a chance to win Erica back! He tries to tell her about the case but she won't talk about anything but Erica. Kendall and Zach gather their things and leave. Jack follows them. From inside the prison, Erica calls Kendall - but Jack answers! Their cell phones were mixed up! Erica doesn't wait for Jack to say anything, she just rattles on about putting the past to rest and making sure Greenlee never finds out about the one night stand. A guard makes her hang up. Jack is stunned by the revelation!
A Little Bit Of Life...
Samuel carries Erica to the prison infirmary and orders a doctor to check her out. Erica insists she is okay. Jack arrives and so does the warden. She acts as if she did nothing wrong. Jack takes Erica aside. She admits how scared she was and tells him about the nightmares she had. He says he knew she would be fine but regrets not getting to her sooner.
Meanwhile, Sam and the warden talk in her office. Sam says she had no right and no reason to put Erica away in solitary confinement. The warden sticks to her guns, saying Erica made things impossible by having her fan club outside. Sam says she was just angry that Erica found flaws and wanted to fix them. He threatens to bring in the Bureau of Prisons and then orders the warden to put Erica back with the general population. He returns to Jack, who says Erica is hanging on. They return to Erica, who says they have to keep pushing for reform. She returns to her cell and the other inmates welcome her back.
Manipulations...
Jack arrives at the prison and demands to see the warden. The guard finally agrees to get the warden after Carmen chimes in that Erica is being held against her will! The warden meets with Jack but insists that Erica isn't being punished in solitary. She says Erica is being protected from the other inmates! Jack doesn't believe her and says so but she won't give in. He calls the director of prisons and demands action on Erica's behalf.
A Dangerous Assignment!
Greenlee meets Jack at the Yacht Club. He has flowers and a blank check for her to pay for the perfect wedding. He asks if anything might hamper the wedding and Greenlee says Ryan is just her friend! They talk about her plans a little and then Jack mentions Erica, which sets Greenlee off. She says Jack is still too wrapped up in La Kane! Aidan arrives and is shocked to see Jack's blank check. Jack is distracted by a phone call and leaves quickly. When they are alone, Aidan says he can't stay for lunch and tells her about the hostage situation. "You're not going," she says, worried. He says he cannot refuse the assignment. He swears he'll come back to her.
Carmen calls Jack's office. She tells him that Erica has been sent to solitary confinement.
Burning Down the House!
In the waiting area of the prison, Carmen warns Erica that the women will be mad if she doesn't come through. Just then both Jack and Samuel arrive. Carmen instantly falls under Samuel's charm; Erica tells the men about her plans for rehabilitation, counseling and job-training programs for the inmates. Jack and Samuel are blown away. She asks Sam to spearhead the training programs and then asks Jack to take on Carmen's appeal! Sam reminds her that this won't be a quick change with fast results but she plods ahead. Samuel is called away. Jack asks about the inmates and Carmen tells him about the note. Erica insists no one will hurt her but Jack isn't sure. Erica jabbers about Carmen until Carmen interrupts, making her focus on Jack. He agrees to help Carmen. He takes Carmen aside to talk about her case. Sam returns and asks Erica about the warden. Erica says the warden can't turn down her ideas because they are good for the inmates. Jack finishes his talk with Carmen. Samuel says he is ready to move forward if he is.
