Satin Slayer Strikes!

At the police department, Derek and Aidan discuss the possibility of David being a suspect. Derek isn't convinced but does think it strange that David hasn't been seen since he went 'off the map' in Indonesia. As they speak, the killer is shown emptying a vial of V-Tach into a container. Aidan promises to have David's information placed on Interpol's list. Two investigators bring in the portrait of Kendall with a syringe in the neck. Josh arrives with to give the love letters to Derek. Aidan comes back in, saying they may have a hit on David. Jamie and Josh study the picture of Kendall. Jamie wants to know what is going on between them, which makes Josh angry. It's nobody's business! When Jamie pushes it, Josh gets even more angry, telling Jamie he knows who killed Greg Madden - and if Jamie doesn't back off he'll tell the cops. Tad arrives, interrupting them. Sensing the trouble brewing, Tad asks what's going on. Derek enters, reminding Jack that Zarf/Zoe has not been cleared. They're still looking at Kenny and David, but he considers Zarf/Zoe the prime suspect. Jack reminds Derek that Zoe was jailed while Zach was locked in the warehouse and Ryan spotted the voyeur on the Fusion roof. They need to investigate everyone because all they know about Kenny is that he made a trip to the grocery store!

Lies and Revelations

At the hospital, the stranger enters Dani's room, flowers in hand. It's Kenny! Before he can do anything, Aidan attacks! Aidan and Livia question Kenny. Why is he there? Before Kenny can answer, Jack, Derek and Di enter. For the first time, Derek begins to believe there may be other suspects. He searches Kenny, they find pictures of Simone and Erin but no drugs. From the hallway, Jonathan is listening and before anyone can stop him, he attacks Kenny! Derek and Jack pull Jonathan off Kenny, who says he came to visit because he has a "deep connection" to all the Fusion women. Not so fast! He didn't even know Dani, exclaims Derek! While Derek continues questioning him, Jack leads Jonathan from the room. He suggests that Jonathan keep his distance from Kenny and the case. Jonathan wants to know why. Jack believes Jonathan is in danger of reverting to "the dark place", and Jack won't let him hurt anyone the way he hurt Lily, Bianca and Kendall. Tad calls Jack, telling him about the portrait and the message. They need to get CSI to the warehouse - now! Meanwhile, inside Dani's room, Derek shows a picture of Zach's mother to Kenny. Kenny says he doesn't recognize the woman and he came to see Dani because he is connected to her through Fusion! With no reason to hold him, Derek allows Kenny to leave. Watching him go, Jack assures Jonathan that Kenny will be followed; he gives Jonathan his word that Erin's killer will be caught. The men shake hands and Jonathan leaves. Derek, Jack and Aidan go back inside where Derek thanks everyone for their help. Livia leaves, she is headed to Hawaii to stay with Dani. Jack receives another phone call; Zarf/Zoe has been released!

Setting Plans In Action

In the squad room, Jack tries to convince Derek to look at someone other than Zarf. He is too close to this case! Derek won't hear of it; he needs to find his daughter's attacker. An officer delivers a paper, with pictures of Dani, and talks about her recovery. Their plan to draw out the killer is on! A few minutes later, Zarf/Zoe's lawyer arrives and orders Zarf be released. Derek refuses - Zarf is a suspect. The lawyer says they can do it the hard way - a probable cause hearing - and his client will win. Derek isn't concerned, there is more evidence coming in against Zarf - as far as he's concerned - every day!

Across town, Aidan, Di and Livia are putting the plan to draw out the killer into action. With a police guard stationed outside, they try to entertain themselves with a game for cards until visiting hours are up. Aidan reminds the women about the bird Dani talked about. It could be a clue and they need to figure it out!

Derek and Jack arrive moments later to tell them Dani is safe in Hawaii. Far away from the Satin Slayer. As visiting hours are up, everyone but Aidan leaves. He will stay to protect Livia and hopefully catch the killer. The guard leaves his post and Aidan covers Livia's face. It's time! Outside, someone walks down the hall, stopping as he or she reaches Dani's door!

Kendall is in the Killer's Crosshairs!

At the police department, JR asks to see Zarf/Zoe. Jack and Tad aren't thrilled with the request; JR seeing her won't solve anything. But Derek has another idea. They can use JR to get Zarf/Zoe to confess to something before her lawyer arrives. That way they'll have something to charge her with. Jack and Tad don't like that idea, either, but can't stop Derek. He's obsessed with fingering Zarf/Zoe for the crime. JR, on the other hand, is happy with the suggestion. This could be just what he needs to get little Adam from Babe for good! Inside the jail cell, JR tells Zarf he's been on stage, he knows how exciting that is. How can Zarf give it up to be a woman? Sarcastically, Zarf says his name is Zoe - she can give up the fame because she's a woman! She doesn't need that type of life. JR asks her to convince him Babe doesn't need protecting. She tells JR there was a connection as soon as they met. Babe didn't judge him. Does JR know what that feels like? To be liked by one when everyone else leaves you completely alone? JR isn't sure what to think and prepares to leave the jail cell. He didn't get what he needed, but he does have things to think about.

Meanwhile, inside the Fusion offices, Erica is concerned for Bianca and Josh. Can't they see that Maggie and Babe are working them? She focuses her anger on Babe. Why is she at Fusion - with Josh! - if what she wants is to take care of JR? Kendall and the guards come in, extinguishing the arguments. As Kendall fills them in, the room becomes quiet. Kendall orders the guards to go after Ryan. They can't leave him alone. Kendall and Bianca hug. A few minutes later, Derek and Jack arrive with several police officers to help in the search. As they are about to go onto the roof, Ryan comes in a back door. He lost the suspect! It was too dark to get a good look at the person so he can't provide a description. Ryan asks if Kendall gets it yet - she is in danger and needs to take care of herself. Jack interrupts, telling the crowd that the flowers sent to Kendall were ordered on Simone's account. They need to lock down Fusion. No! Kendall doesn't want the company shut down, they need to work, to save the company or the killer will win. Erica picks up the flower and note meant for Kendall as Ryan continues trying to convince her to leave. Erica has as idea - she's run companies before. She'll run Fusion for the girls. They can operate from the New Beginnings offices; she'll even carry the cash flow problems for the company. Bianca agrees almost immediately. Babe says she'll agree if Kendall will. After a slight hesitation, Kendall agrees - but reminds Erica this is only for a little while and they will pay back her generous offer.

As they come to the agreement with Erica, a disheveled Zach arrives at Fusion and draws Kendall into a tight embrace! Shocked at his appearance, Ryan demands to know what happened. Zach explains about being locked in as Derek enters - the police haven't found anything in their canvass of the roof and the neighborhood. "What search?" Zach wants to know. As Ryan fills him in, Josh orders Babe to leave the office. She needs to go home and he won't take no for an answer. Babe agrees. As Ryan finishes his explanations, Erica and Jack join forces to send Bianca home as well. Zach picks up the flowers and note and flashes back to the doctored picture of Kendall and the letters he found. Kendall and Ryan want to know what he found, but Zach won't tell them. As Zach leads Kendall away Ryan and Josh decide to start their own investigation - starting with Zach!


Meanwhile, across town at the warehouse, the satin slayer shoots the unused dart into the picture of Kendall!

Somebody's Watching!

At the Fusion offices, Babe tells the crowd about the ribbon and wonders if the flowers are for her instead of Kendall. There is no doubt when Ryan shows the note. "Kendall" is written on it. Though certain she is the next target, Kendall refuses to leave work and won't hear of Ryan shutting down Fusion.

Meanwhile at the police department, Jack meets with Tad to discuss the case. Derek angrily confronts an officer about an old report, as Jack and Tad wonder if Derek is too close to the case. Tad wants to look into Kenny Adler, but Derek says Kenny doesn't matter - they need to focus on Zarf!

Jeff and Erica arrive at the police department, wanting to know the status of the case. Are Bianca and Kendall safer now that Zarf is in jail? Tad tells them Zarf isn't the only suspect and then leads Jeff away to give Jack and Erica time to talk. Alone, Erica begs Jack to tell her everything he knows about Zarf. Does he believe Zarf did it? Derek interrupts; he is convinced Zarf is the killer. Jack disagrees, he doesn't know if Zarf is the Satin Slayer but he will do everything he can to find out. Derek arrives to tell Jack the flowers were charged to Fusion under Simone's name by phone. Anyone could have sent them! Derek still believes Zarf is the culprit. Moments later Erica speaks up. She is glad Jack is on the case. She trusts him to protect the girls and offers her help.

In another room, Tad tells Jeff to leave well enough alone. Jack and Erica aren't finished, and Jeff should know that. Jeff reminds Tad that Jack signed the divorce papers. He isn't going to leave Erica.

At the Chandler mansion, JR badgers Dixie. He knows there is a secret and that it's connected to Krystal, or Tad. Dixie believes that what Krystal knows could help Tad but is keeping that from Tad because she doesn't want to hurt anyone else. "My father?" JR asks. Dixie won't tell him, begging him to let her figure things out for herself. Will JR let this drop until she is ready to tell him? Finally, JR agrees. As Dixie leaves, Adam comes back in the room. He isn't finished with JR. Seeing that Adam won't let the subject drop, JR says he is trying to find something on Babe, and he thought Krystal might know. Adam tells him to back off and asks about Zarf/Zoe; JR tells Adam Babe was hiding Zarf in the tunnels. Adam believes Zarf/Zoe is the key to getting Little A from Babe. They need to put Zarf/Zoe on the witness stand!

Erica arrives at Fusion to find Maggie working with Bianca and is annoyed. Can't anyone make a break-up stick? Meanwhile at the police department Jack continues working on the case board. Does Tad believe the flowers for Kendall are just another crackpot? Tad doesn't know, and he apologizes to Jack for Jeff being with Erica. As the men continue working on the board, JR arrives at the stationhouse.

Is Babe The Killer's Next Target?

At the police station, Jackson tells Derek he has been appointed a special prosecutor in the case. Derek is not thrilled with the news - they don't know if they have a suspect yet! In the squad room, Bianca asks Jack to let her see Zarf. When she is let into the holding cell, Bianca asks if she did this to him! Through the bars, Bianca tells Zarf she thinks she was wrong about the New Year's Eve revelation. A distressed Zarf asks if she felt anything before that night and Bianca admits she did but couldn't accept the feelings!

Zarf tells her about his dreams for their life, but he doesn't think he can face the reality. Bianca is beginning to understand. Zarf tries to explain how the rock-star persona helped him hide, but that Zoe can't hide from anything. He brings up Simone and Erin and Dani; Bianca asks what would have happened if they hadn't been attacked. Zarf tells Bianca he didn't kill the women - he only admired them! Their deaths make him feel dead inside, too!

Bianca tells Zarf she was scared and is sorry for not believing him. Zarf wants to know if she believes he killed the women - she says no. She believes Zarf/Zoe is innocent and takes his hand through the cell bars.
