Annie and Scott are at the Chandler Mansion discussing Adam loaning money to Slater. Annie wonders how Scott can let his happen! Scott says she's a murderer, and she's fine with Adam giving his money to her! Annie says she loves Adam and will always stand by him. Scott wonders why she's so concerned about what his uncle is doing with his money? Just then, Jackson arrives. He tells her that Dr. Nolan found her competent to stand trial. She wants to take off the ankle monitor. Jack tells her that she is facing a list of charges!
Adam gets home as Jack is telling Annie that she will probably get some jail time. Adam is certain that he can persuade the judge otherwise. Jack then tells them that he will be leaving the country. Annie kisses Adam and says, "Who needs a lawyer when I've got you?" Annie runs off to get a picture of the wedding dress she wants, and Scott asks Adam if he really intends to pay off a judge! Adam says she deserves some peace. Scott says that all that talk about becoming a better man because of Stuart, was just talk then - he's subverting the legal system! Scott tells his uncle that he and Annie deserve each other! Adam asks Scott if he really expects him to believe he hasn't broken any commandments himself - such as coveting someone's wife, or lying! Scott tells him where to get off!
Back to Business!
Jack greets Adam after he comes out of the room with Annie. Jack needles him about having a rendezvous with his accused killer. Jack wonders if this is a lover's spat, and whether Adam truly thinks she's guilty?! Jackson goes in to see Annie, who protests that she's innocent. She tells him that Zach did this to protect Kendall. Jack muses that they also covered up the fact that Kendall was driving when Greenlee was run off the road - he agrees to be Annie's lawyer! Annie urges Jack to go look in Kendall's eyes - she has the eyes of a killer! Annie says she should know, since she has them too!
At Fusion, Kendall says she can't just ignore that she killed a man, and Zach pinned it on someone else! Erica says that Annie Lavery is going to prison for what she did - Kendall needs to refocus! Kendall says she's going to the police station right now, but Erica protests that she can't do that - she can't live without her! Erica sobs that they've found something wonderful, and she's not prepared to give that up! Jackson comes in. He announces that he has a new client - Annie Lavery! Erica flips, asking how he could do this - how could he take her side against Kendall? She then spits that this is payback - he lost his daughter and now wants to make sure that she loses hers! Jackson denies it, and Kendall leaves. Jackson tells Erica that Annie sent him to look in Kendall's eyes, but one look in Erica's tells him everything he needs to know!
Jackson shows up at the courthouse where Liza and Zach are still talking. He announces that he's representing Annie. Jack tells Zach that he knows he framed Annie, and he's not going to get away with it! Jack lays into Zach, bringing up the Greenlee coverup as well. As Jack hisses that Zach framed Annie too, Aidan appears and says, "You're wrong. Zach wasn't there - he was with me!"
Loose Ends!
In court, Kendall sits with Jackson. The prosecutor asks for a continuance and the judge grants it. Kendall tells Jack that this is good - why isn't he happier. Jack says that North's death was a little too convenient. Kendall blurts, "I ran Greenlee off the road, I ran North off the road, hell, maybe I even killed Stuart!" They both realize that she admitted to being the driver when Greenlee was killed. Kendall apologizes profusely, but Jack is blown away, and tells her to find another lawyer! Randi shows up as Jack is leaving. Randi establishes her alibi, then they discuss the death of North. Kendall tells Randi that she's sure no one misses him!
Go Team!
Jack meets with Erica at the Yacht Club to talk to her about Kendall. She says she doesn't do offspring control anymore! He explains what Kendall has been up to, saying she's sabotaging her own case! Erica thinks she should be able to fight, but Liza appears and says the harassment of Annie stops now! Erica says Annie is the one who choked her, but Liza scoffs - Erica broke into a private residence! Liza asks Jack to set her straight on the law. Suddenly, Jack notices that Liza's baby looks red.
David meets Krystal at the Yacht Club and immediately asks her for another chance. He tells her how lonely he is, and how much he misses her. She admits they've been through a lot together, but they're bonded by misery and heartache - they can't be fixed! He asks if she still loves him. Just then, David hears Liza's baby crying as she speaks to Erica and Jack nearby. He tells Krystal he doesn't like the sound of the cry, and gets up to have a look. Liza jerks the stroller away and tells him to stay away from her baby! David and Jack look stunned as she trots off. Erica says, "That was strange!" David wishes Jack and Erica good luck with Kendall's defense, but warns them not to try and make him a suspect again. He then returns to Krystal and tells her how strangely Liza acted - he says he's going to the hospital to see if she brought the baby in!
Games and Gambling!
JR shakes his head at Adam in the Chandler living room, asking, "You can't remember anything?" JR says he's going to see his son - at least when he plays games, he understands them! Ryan and Kendall emerge from their hiding spot - Adam asks if Zach is in there too?! Ryan tells him he should have kept riding Annie - she would have cracked! Adam throws them out, telling security to have them arrested! Jack arrives on the scene and asks Adam if he has proof that they broke in. Kendall sighs, and explains to Jack about the plan to expose Annie. Jack huffs, and explains to Adam that it's not breaking and entering if he's in cahoots with the accused!
Back at Kendall's house, Jack reads her and Ryan the riot act for taking matters into their own hands, pointing out that Kendall did that the night of the murder - and look where that got her! He leaves, disgusted! Kendall worries to Ryan that it's all over for her now. He tries to reassure her, but she says North won't stop now!
