At the hotel, Ryan, Greenlee and Aidan rush into the room and find Di on the ground! Annie says Di took Emma; Ryan rushes to her side and tries to get Di talking. She tells Ryan to ask Annie where Emma is; Annie says she was trying to get Di to tell her the truth when the gun went off. She says she saw Di in the lobby and followed her to the room. Aidan and Greenlee question her. Annie tells them that Di is the only one who knows where Emma is. Aidan looks back, sees Di point the gun and pushes Greenlee out of the way. Di shoots and Aidan is hit! Di collapses and Ryan says she is dead. He and Greenlee try to save Aidan but Annie is frozen. Just then Jesse and several police officers burst into the room. He tries to talk to Greenlee but Annie gets nervous and tells him to rest. The paramedics give Aidan more medications. Two officers question Ryan but when he explains that Di was the bad guy, they don't believe him. Greenlee tries to go with Aidan but the officers stop her. "Not until you are interrogated," the officer says. Ryan goes nuts, yelling at the officers but Jesse shuts him up, saying he'll handle it.
At the hospital, Aidan's condition worsens. The doctors and nurses work on him but his condition keeps worsening. Jesse and Aidan arrive and the doctor says Aidan is out of surgery but isn't stable enough to have the full surgery. He says they don't have the equipment to do such an operation, which means Aidan is going to die! Greenlee goes to his side and orders him not to die. The doctors say there is nothing more they can do. Greenlee says she'll bring in help and tells the doctor to keep Aidan alive!
But, I Love You!
In Puerto Rico, Greenlee keeps siding with Ryan which upsets Aidan. He says it doesn't matter if Ryan is right or if Annie is – they have to save Emma.
Ryan and Annie get to Pine Cay and Annie leads him to the room; Ryan says she didn't mention a room number before. She says it doesn't matter. Ryan kicks in the door. No one is there! Annie is certain they are in the right place but Ryan says the kidnapper is playing them. She says he needs to rest but Ryan refuses. She pushes him and he lies down. Annie lies with him for a while and when she is sure he is asleep, she leaves the room. Ryan listens and then follows but loses her. He finds Aidan and Greenlee and they decide to go after Annie. He and Greenlee go one way and Aidan goes in another. They meet up a few minutes later; Aidan says an American woman checked into room 605 within the last hour; Ryan says it isn't Annie because she was with him. Greenlee wonders who checked in.
Annie goes to another room and calls for Emma. Di comes out of another room and says Emma couldn't make the trip – and she knows all about Annie's plans! "You picked the wrong girl and I won't go down for you," she says and pulls a gun on Annie! Annie asks where Emma is but Di won't tell her. They struggle for the gun and it goes off. In the hall, Ryan, Greenlee and Aidan hear the shot.
Where Did We Go Wrong?
In Puerto Rico, Greenlee worries about Ryan, hoping that he hasn't been killed. "Because if he is dead, you'll be dead, right?" Aidan says.
On the island, Ryan rants at the pilot about fixing the plane. The pilot insists he is trying but doesn't have the right tools. Ryan tells him to call for help but he doesn't have a cell phone. The pilot goes to try to fix the plane and Annie follows him. Ryan calls Aidan and says Annie planned the kidnapping! He says Annie is too gung-ho about finding Emma without any cops; Aidan reminds him that Annie was shot but Ryan thinks that was all a ruse. He tells Aidan about the hotel on Pine Cay and hangs up. Annie returns and says the pilot can't find anything to fix the plane. She breaks down and Ryan holds her, wondering what she is up to. He takes her hand and swears everything will be okay. Ryan brings up the kidnappings and says they need to figure out what went wrong in their relationship; he blames himself. She says it was her fault, too. She says she still loves him but realizes that he doesn't love her anymore. Ryan walks away from her and Annie gets upset and asks about Greenlee. Ryan says he is thinking about their relationship, not Greenlee. Ryan steps closer to her and kisses her!
Aidan hangs up the phone and tells Greenlee that Ryan suspects Annie is behind everything! Greenlee immediately believes Ryan but Aidan says this is all Ryan's fault. He tells Greenlee exactly how Ryan's courtship was and how quickly Ryan left her alone. He says if Annie has gone crazy it is all Ryan's fault! With Greenlee distracted, Aidan tries to call Annie. Greenlee hears the phone ring and picks up. "Annie is that you?" Aidan says! Greenlee confronts him. Aidan says he was calling Annie to see if he could get through to her because of what Ryan said. He points out that if Annie is on the edge, Ryan is going to need help. Greenlee wonders why Annie left her phone behind and tries to find any evidence on it. Aidan grabs the phone! He says he needs to download the phone to his laptop before valuable information is lost. Greenlee wonders if he is telling the truth.
There's Something Off About That Girl!
At Annie's beach house, Annie and Aidan share champagne and toast their plans – to ruin Ryan and Greenlee! Annie says Di is still in the dark and thinks she is watching Emma so Annie and Ryan have time alone. She says before long, they will both have their spouses back! Aidan tells Annie about knocking Ryan out and says they need to go over their plan. Annie says things are going perfectly and reminds Aidan that he shot her to make things look good! She says she has everything under control. "Ryan will come back to me," she says and reminds Aidan that this is the best way to get Greenlee back – if that is still what he wants! She is worried that he doesn't want Greenlee back. Aidan says Ryan and Greens will be here soon and tells Annie to clean up. She keeps talking about Greenlee and Aidan rips her dress! "Now, hit me!" he exclaims. She can't do it so Aidan slaps her! Annie slugs him with a cane. Ryan and Greenlee arrive and Annie cries out that Emma is gone – because of Aidan! Aidan says it was Annie's fault and they argue. Greenlee steps in and says they have to focus on the kidnapper. Aidan says the guy hit him and ran; Ryan wonders why he didn't kill them. Annie tells Ryan they have to get rid of Greenlee and Aidan or they'll never find Emma! She grabs her bag and leaves. Ryan follows her. Outside, Annie says she overheard the kidnapper talking about Pine Cay on the phone. Ryan wonders what is going on.
Back inside the lighthouse, Aidan tells Greenlee that Annie is always at the center of danger. He says he is worried about Ryan's safety!
