At the hospital, Greenlee finally asks Zach if Richie could get off. Zach says he’ll make sure Richie pays. Kendall arrives and reaches out to Greenlee but is ignored. Annie and Ryan arrive, followed by JR and Babe. Babe says they need a plan and walks out. JR follows but she says he can’t help her. He returns to the others. Annie blames herself for Richie’s misdeeds. Ryan hugs her, saying Richie will finally be put away. Kendall watches Annie and then tells Zach about Annie’s weird break-in at Greenlee’s. Zach says she deserves a break and tells Kendall to leave them alone. JR corners Greenlee to ask about Aidan. She updates him on the breakup. JR says there are no perfect men in the world and she shouldn’t have such high expectations. Zach takes Ryan aside and asks if he will get in the way if Richie is released by the authorities. Ryan says they should wait and see what happens first. Aidan walks in and asks for the details. Aidan sees Greenlee but keeps his distance. Kendall sees JR alone and apologizes for blaming him for the hit and run. JR says her tough love helped him sober up. When he mentions Aidan, Kendall tells him to back off. JR keeps pushing, saying he wants to apologize and then says he understands what happened. “Zach is lucky to have you,” he says and walks away. Kendall finds Annie, who is acting very strangely. She brings up the night before at Greenlee’s. Annie says Greens is blowing the event out of proportion.
Babe returns to the waiting room. JR immediately asks about Richie. Annie listens to them as Babe talks about Richie’s supposed “secret weapon”. Annie asks Babe for more details. Greenlee sees them talking and starts questioning Annie. Ryan jumps to Annie’s defense and tells Greens to back off. She makes a smart remark to Annie and walks away. Annie thanks Ryan for standing up for her and asks him to hold her for a bit. She runs to Zach in the hall and brings up the break-in. Zach listens and Greens admits she was jealous because Ryan defended Annie! Kendall sits with Aidan, telling him that Greenlee calling him is a huge step forward. He says running to Zach with her worries first is a step back. Richie’s lawyer walks in and asks to see Annie – alone! Aidan finally goes to Greenlee and asks how she is. She says knowing Richie is the bad guy won’t fix what happened.
Annie goes to Richie’s room. He tries convincing her that he is innocent. When she doesn’t buy it, Richie blackmails her, saying if she doesn’t pay his bail, Ryan will find out about her little fertility plan! The lawyer comes in and leads Richie away. On the way out, Aidan slugs him! Richie smiles and says he’ll be a free man soon.
You Can Call Me Daddy!
Across the way, Zach and Aidan meet. Aidan says he wants to quit the job with Cambias! He confronts Zach about his true reasons for hiring him - Kendall and the one night stand! Zach says he hired Aidan to figure out what kind of man he really was and then warns him to stay away from Kendall. They arrive at the tennis court just as Kendall serves - and hits Greenlee in the face with the ball! Zach and Aidan rush to help Greens but she will only accept help from Zach. Kendall apologizes but Greenlee is certain she wanted to hurt her; just like sleeping with Aidan hurt her! Greenlee goes on about being hurt and then turns the tables. She says her good mood was no accident and insinuates that she slept with someone. Then, Greens says she kept it all "in the family". Kendall wonders what that means.
Adam's Softer Side...
The two cops haul Amanda off to the police station. She sees Aidan and demands that he help her find Derek. Both are surprised when the cops say Derek has taken another job in LA! Aidan convinces them to give Amanda her phone call but they won't let her go; Amanda calls JR and tells him Babe is in trouble. Amanda tells Aidan exactly what she and Babe were up to; he is very worried about her. The two cops finally release Amanda. She calls Babe and then invites Aidan for a drink!
Greenlee goes to ConFusion, alone, and has a drink. Amanda walks in and Greens insists they have a drink together. She goes to Amanda's table - where Aidan is! Greenlee reluctantly sits down as Amanda tells her the hooker story and says Aidan came to her rescue. The tension is high between Greenlee and Aidan; Amanda finally notices and makes an exit. Aidan says he loves her. Greenlee walks away.
Visitation Day...
Aidan is walking the hospital halls when Jake finds him. Seeing how upset he is, Jake questions Aidan. He finally tells Jake about the broken engagement. They commiserate. Jake is down the hall when he finds JR and Babe arguing. JR asks Jake to tell Babe exactly how evil Adam is. Jake won't say anything. JR stuns Babe when he says Colby was supposed to be Jake's kid! Babe is horrified but JR just keeps talking about what Adam did. Jake stops JR, telling him that Colby doesn't know the truth and he doesn't want her to know. "Life is too short, JR," Jake says and walks off. JR follows Jake and brings up Jamie. Jake asks what is really going on with him. JR says he is just putting his life back together; he apologizes to Jake for bringing up Colby. Jake brushes off the apology and asks about Babe, wondering why JR is still chasing her instead of moving on with his life. Before JR can answer, Jake walks off.
Babe is alone when she runs into Krystal in the hall. They sit down; Krystal can't stop talking about Adam, worried about him as much as she is worried about Tad. Babe warns her not to get sucked back into Adam's realm. Krystal returns to Tad's room; he is disappointed she couldn't find Adam. She tells him about Adam's deal from a few months ago. He doesn't blame her for not believing Adam, but puts two and two together to figure out that is why JR moved back to the mansion. He still doesn't blame her for keeping the secret. She kisses his hand and tells him she loves him. Aidan comes in. Tad makes jokes about bad hospital food so Aidan promises a big steak dinner once he's released. He asks about Kate. Tad thanks him for helping with the search. Aidan swears Adam won't get away with keeping the secret.
No Good Deed Goes Unpunished!
Tad opens his eyes and stares at Adam. Krystal rushes in, sees he is awake and runs for the waiting room. She tells the family Tad is awake; Joe, Jake and Angie rush to his room. Babe tells JR she'll watch Kathy and he goes as well. Kathy notices Opal crying and asks what is wrong. Opal says she is just thankful. Back in his room, Tad asks Adam if it is true and he says yes. Jake and Jesse want Adam out of the room but Krystal stops them. Kathy gets away from Babe and comes in. Krystal places her on the bed so she can see Tad. Joe notices Tad is tired and asks everyone to leave so they can check him over. JR tries to pull Adam away but Tad asks him to stay, worrying Krystal even more. Joe and Angie stay for a while but soon Tad asks them to leave to. When he is alone with Adam, Adam says Kathy really is Kate. Tad wants proof.
In the hall, Ruth and Opal talk about Tad while Aidan questions Jake. Jake believes Tad is out of the woods. Jesse is happy about that. JR, with Babe, wonders why Tad asked to see Adam. Babe doesn't know. Krystal comes out of his room and goes straight to Kathy, who is sitting alone in a chair. She hugs Kathy.
