How Far Will Kendall Go?

At Wildwind, Jamie and Julia talk about their relationship. Di interrupts them, asking if they have seen Amanda. After a couple of day of her not being around the mansion or at work, she is worried! They bring in Aidan, who suggests that she just left town to decompress for a while. They aren't so sure and wonder if they should call the cops. Del arrives. He just got a voice mail from Amanda - that she is on vacation in Fiji with a friend! They are all relieved. The group disperses and once again Julia and Jamie are alone to talk. He apologizes for calling the pregnancy test a scare but Julia doesn't want to hear his apologies. She tells him that they are obviously in different places in their lives. He tells her that he does want children - someday! - and tells her that he loves her. "Someday just isn't good enough," she says. Jamie is disappointed when Julia tells him that she isn't willing to wait for someday to come. She talks about Kathy and visiting her family and tells Jamie that she is leaving tomorrow! "I really thought I could make you happy," Jamie says. Emotionally, Julia tells him that he did make her happy. She kisses him and leaves.

Amanda worries that she and JR will never get out of the cellar. Between being trapped and JR being so nice to her, she isn't sure what to think. JR promises to make everything up to her as the kidnappers come back in the room. One of the men pulls out a billy-club and begins to beat up JR as the other pulls Amanda from the room! JR pounds on the door, demanding that they not hurt Amanda. The kidnappers push her back inside and she is shaking. They know her name and where she works and that is freaking her out. "I know how to break out of here," she tells him. JR tries to convince Amanda that they shouldn't try an escape without letting her on to his part in the plan. They argue and Amanda tells him about a voicemail that the kidnappers made her leave. One of the bad guys comes in and Amanda pretends to be hurt and asks for help. The kidnapper comes to her and she kicks him and starts to run. But JR doesn't follow! The kidnapper gets up and pulls Amanda back. They struggle and he pushes her back into the room, then leaves! Amanda and JR are trapped - again! "Do you like being kidnapped?" she asks and tries to pull pipes from the wall to cause a flood. JR doesn't help, telling her to stop trying to escape. Finally, he comes clean. "They won't hurt us," he says, telling her that he hired the guys! Amanda can't believe how far he has gone! Amanda punches him!

Dream A Little Dream

JR and Amanda wake up, still locked in the cellar. Amanda asks if they will ever be free. JR kisses her, telling her things will be fine.

Who Kidnapped JR?

At the warehouse, Amanda searches for something to make JR comfortable. She can't find any first aid supplies but does find some blankets and makes a pallet for him. He apologizes for getting her into the mess they're in. JR asks Amanda to tell little A he loves him once she is set free. "Tell him that he is the best thing that's ever happened," JR says. Amanda pounds on the doors, trying to make someone hear them. She returns to JR, worried. JR plays up to her, making her believe that he thinks he is going to die. She assures him that Adam will come through.

Colby sees Sean at the police station, shocked that he spent a night in jail. Sean tries to play it off but Colby is worried. He tells her to go home and not worry about him. She asks where the drugs came from, wondering if the drugs really belonged to him. Sean won't admit they were his and keeps trying to get her to leave. "Just turn around and walk away," he says and she finally leaves. Colby heads home. As she talks to Adam, the kidnappers call and tell Adam that they have JR! Adam plays it off, not wanting to worry Colby. The kidnapper hangs up, promising to get proof that they have JR. Colby wonders about the call but is too caught up with Sean to worry long. She tells Adam that the drugs couldn't belong to Sean. Adam advises her to forget about him but she can't. He reminds Colby about Sean and Ava, telling her that she doesn't know anything about the real Sean. Adam's phone rings again and Colby leaves. It's the kidnapper. He tells Adam to log on to a website and then hangs up. Adam logs on and sees the kidnappers and a beaten JR. Moments later the online feed goes dark. A package is stuffed under the door. Inside is JR's bloody shirt! Adam begins to worry, for real this time.

Spike is Mine!

Amanda and JR have been kidnapped by two masked men, who hold them at knifepoint snarling, “Behave or die!” and call JR by name. They then usher JR and Amanda into a basement and lock them in. Amanda is losing it. They have no cell phones and no way out. JR tells her he thinks Zach Slater is behind the kidnapping, and that it’s about a takeover of Chandler Enterprises. Amanda doesn’t believe that theory. There’s one other person it could be, JR tells her, and that’s his recently-estranged and forever-vicious father, Adam. Running with that theory, JR begins pounding at the door, demanding that the kidnappers take him to his father. The door opens, a gloved hand reaches in, and JR is whisked away, leaving Amanda alone and afraid in the basement.

JR is tossed back into the basement with Amanda. He’s beat up, bloody, and weak. Amanda is terrified and clutches him, sobbing. While resting on Amanda’s shoulder, JR flashes back to what really happened. Surprise! The kidnapping is not a setup by Adam after all. JR, known for Adam-like viciousness himself on more than one occasion, paid the thugs to kidnap him and Amanda and to beat him up. It’s a setup all right, but JR’s the one doing the deceiving. Is Adam about to be beat at his own game?

Trouble Is Brewing For JR!

Amanda is at Wildwind, staring out the window and playing with Trevor's favorite coin with Jamie arrives home. She angrily strikes out at him, annoyed because everyone seems to be treating her with kid gloves. She wants her friends to treat her normally. Jamie grabs her and gives her a noogie! He reminds her that he is always here for her, for anything. She thanks him, but tells him she can handle her own life. She leaves. Julia arrives home with groceries and a pregnancy test. She hides it when Jamie calls out to her. He tells her about Kathy's day and offers her a drink. She heads over to see Kathy as Di comes in with a splinter. Jamie offers to help her out but she declines. As she leaves, she knocks the pregnancy test from under the couch but doesn't notice. Jamie takes it to Julia, wondering who it belongs to. Before Julia can say anything, Jamie lets her know that he is not ready to be a father and would, in fact, rather die than have a child right now! Jamie goes on to say how glad he isn't in Aidan's shoes because he thinks the test belongs to Di!

JR calls Amanda, asking her out for the evening. She turns him down and he ups the ante - a hot new club in Philadelphia - and tells her to get dressed for clubbing. "No strings attached," he promises. Amanda hedges. She finally agrees to go and JR picks her up. The head to Philly, Amanda wondering who ditched him for the evening, leaving him to call her as a replacement. He tells her about Colby and the prom; Amanda is touched by JR's effort to make Colby's night better. But she still doesn't trust his motives for calling her and tells him that he won't be getting lucky tonight! They finally arrive at the club and JR has the driver park in the back. As they get out of the limo, tough guys approach, knocking out both JR and Amanda and taking them away!

...And The Roof Caves In!

Adam enters The Comeback, annoyed at Derek and Krystal's kiss. Tad tells him to leave, but Adam won't go. He continues to cut down everyone is the bar. Del notices a few leaks from the roof. Babe, Derek and Opal all tell Adam to leave; Krystal steps in, telling them to leave Adam alone! "If he wants to stay, he can stay," she says, astounding everyone. She reminds them that everyone is welcome in her bar and offers Adam a free drink. Tad offers a triple-anything, hoping it will effect Adam badly! Adam turns down the drink but heads to a table, alone. Krystal sits with Adam, telling him that she is just fine on her own. A deliveryman arrives with a new karaoke machine! At the bar, Julia begins to cry, worrying Jamie, Opal and Amanda. Derek helps Krystal unpack the box, apologizing for kissing her. Krystal shrugs it off. Derek tells Krystal that he has always admired her and asks her to dinner! She says she'll let him know when she's ready to date. Tad reminds Adam that he used to own the bar and failed at it! JR comes over and together he and Tad push Adam's buttons by reminding him that he was going to be a different person for Stuart's sake. JR tells Adam that he is finished. "You can't ruin this for Krystal no matter how bad you want to," he promises. Krystal gets the karaoke machine going. She compares the jewelry from Adam to a ball and chain and his home to a mausoleum and their love to a lie and excitedly talks about her new plans and friends. Babe gets the machine going and Krystal decides to sing. Before she can start, the roof begins to fall in! Tad and Derek check out the leak, which is huge. Krystal can't believe that her new project seems to be doomed. Adam rubs in the bad news, telling her she'll be broke soon. He leaves. Krystal worries that she made a huge mistake by not having the building inspected before she bought the place. Babe reminds her that they have friends and they can rebuild. "I just want it to happen now," Krystal says. Across the room, Opal talks to Julia, asking how she is. Julia gets queasy and hurries away. When she returns, Opal asks Julia if she might be pregnant! The question makes Julia wonder. Across the room, Tad encourages Krystal not to give up. She promises to keep fighting, just to show Adam that she is okay on her own.
