As JR takes Dixie's hand, she appears and her spirit squeezes his shoulder, then moves to Jamie. Her spirit can't find Tad in the hospital. The doorbell rings and it's a coatless, carless Tad, who's acting a bit strange. Jamie and Julia are worried about him. Tad tells Julia that he thinks there's no Christmas star in the sky this year. While Julia answers the phone and Jamie goes to get him a coat, he disappears into the night. Tad is still wandering in the snow when he trips and hits his head. When he looks up, Fr. Clarence is there to offer help.
