At the beach house, Zach wakes up Kendall with muffins. She pushes the muffins aside and kisses him. They make love. Afterward, Kendall says they should start every day this way. Kendall asks what is next on their 48 hours of freedom. He suggests swimming with dolphins and getting a tan and playing naked co-ed volleyball. Kendall laughs at him. Zach says they have no plans except to be alone. Kendall gets quiet and says it is too quiet. Zach goes to the door where Rachael is waiting with the boys! They play with the boys for a while and then Kendall brings them in, saying a storm is brewing. She brings the beach inside, complete with sand and buckets to play with. Spike shovels some sand; Kendall thanks Zach for a perfect 48 hours. "We missed the volleyball game," he teases. Zach asks Kendall to have another baby with him! Kendall says she wants another baby but that this isn't the right time to do it.
Kendall hears something on the porch and finds Greenlee there in tears.
Opal's Latest Prediction!
Kendall can't believe that Annie killed Richie and Zach knew but didn't tell her. Annie says he blackmailed her and Kendall threatens to call the cops. Zach grabs the phone. Annie says she was forced into it and then says if Kendall turns her in she will swear under oath that Zach was in on the killing with her! Kendall grabs for Annie but Zach stops her again. Annie digs at Kendall but Zach turns on her, saying she had better watch out or he'll take care of her for good! He tells her to get out; Annie leaves. Zach says he did what he did for Emma, which touches Kendall's heart. "A child needs a mother," he says emotionally. Kendall hugs him, realizing finally that Emma is the age Zach was when he lost his mother. Kendall tells him about her day and the FDA rummaging through their files. She wonders if there is a future for the company. Kendall turns from the window to find the room bathed in candlelight and two glasses of wine in his hands. She tells him that Greenlee and Aidan are through. "She reminded me of what I have and that I shouldn't take it for granted," Kendall says and apologizes for not spending more time with him lately. She kisses him and they make love. After, Kendall tells Zach she owes him 48 hours and she is ready for him to collect!
This Isn't Happening!
Kendall and Zach are sitting with Ian and Spike when she asks how he convinced Annie to give up custody. Zach skirts the issue, saying that Annie just realized she has work to do. Kendall tells him how much she loves him and apologizes for being so distracted lately. Zach says they only have to worry about here and now.
Greenlee and Kendall arrive at Fusion moments apart and find the place in shambles. Their files and computers are gone and all that is left is a big mess. Greenlee can't believe they let Amanda and Babe do this to them; Kendall says it is their own fault for not paying enough attention to the business. She says they have to fight but Greenlee is worn out. Kendall says they will cut as much as they have to but Greenlee says she can't fight for Fusion because her marriage is over - and it's Kendall's fault! Kendall says she had nothing to do with it but Greenlee says if she would have left her alone instead of always talking about Ryan - and sleeping with Aidan! - things would have been fine. She tells Kendall that Aidan bugged her and found out about Ryan's romantic proposal. Kendall asks if it is really over and offers to help. Greens tells her to worry about Fusion but there is nothing they can do. Greenlee says she is going to clean up her desk and leave. Kendall hugs her. Greenlee tells her to go home and be with Zach. Kendall tells Greens to go to Ryan. Jack arrives and Greenlee tells him about work. She lets it slip that Erica is working on Adam on Kendall's behalf. Jack is shocked. He mentions Aidan but she won't talk about him. Greenlee says all of their files are not lost because she made copies; she gives the copies to Jack.
Annie arrives at her new digs at the Yacht Club. She sits down. Someone watches her from outside. She looks around and then the person comes inside! "What are you doing here?" she asks! It's Zach! She asks what he wants from her. She says she wants to go to the police about Richie just as Kendall walks in the door!
That's What you Get!
Zach and Kendall take Emma to the courthouse. Emma runs up to her mother when she sees her standing there. They explain to Emma that she can’t go home right now, but hopefully soon after they speak to the judge. Kendall takes Emma off to keep her busy coloring while the hearing takes place. Annie tells Zach that Emma needs her mother and should be with her. Zach stresses to her that Emma needs stability. Annie is insulted and wants to know what that is supposed to mean. He confesses that he was in the doctor’s office and knows that she killed her brother. She accuses him of being like everyone-else and spying on her. He sits her down and tells her that she did the right thing and that the world is better off without her brother in it. He wants to know who else she has told this to. She panics when Zach tells her that the doctor is going to testify against her. He tells her that the only way to prevent it is for her to go and tell the judge that Emma needs to be with Ryan.
It’s time for the hearing to begin. Annie thinks about what Zach has said to do, but fears that she can’t trust him either and has no assurance that he will keep her secret. Annie stands up and announces that she has something to say. She tells the judge that there are things going on in her life right now that will prevent her from providing Emma from having a stable home environment. She cries and says that Emma will be better off living with her father. Doctor Price follows her out of the courtroom and congratulates her for doing the right thing. Ryan and Kendal hang around and can’t believe that she did this. Emma and Ryan have a reunion as Annie looks on. Annie comes over and informs Emma of the new living arrangements. She kisses her daughter goodbye before leaving. Kendall puts it all together that Zach was working on Annie today. Greenlee shows up and congratulates them on how it all worked out. Kendall notices Annie getting upset and tries to make her understand that Ryan will take good care of Emma. Annie rushes over and wants to know if Greenlee is after her daughter now!

You're Spying On Me!
Phones are ringing off the hook at Fusion as Randi and Amanda try to do damage control. Kendall arrives. Amanda reports that Babe is on the way. Greenlee arrives and asks where Kendall was. She starts in about Ryan and him needing her; Aidan listens from the penthouse. Greenlee tells Kendall to stop because she isn't interested. Babe arrives so Kendall turns her anger toward her. Babe says she quits! She tells them to place the blame fully on her shoulders and admits she was plotting to take over Fusion. Kendall and Greenlee are shocked. Babe tells them not to blame Amanda, and encourages them to give Amanda a real shot. Kendall accepts Babe's resignation. "I'm going to miss all of you," she says and looks directly at Kendall. She drops another bomb - that she and JR are moving away. Amanda tells her not to go. Ryan calls and asks Greenlee if they can meet; she caves in. Aidan hears her but the phone starts cutting in and out so she takes off the earrings. Ryan says he is on the roof; she takes her other earring off and tells Kendall she has to do something and leaves. Babe and Kendall make peace and Kendall says Amanda is welcome to stay at Fusion as long as she learns her place! Kendall takes a call and says, "No! You can't do this!" She hangs up and calls for attention. The call was from the FDA and they are closing down the company until their investigation of Bella is over! The crew is shocked. "Go home," Kendall says and promises to keep everyone informed. She gathers her things. Amanda says they have to do something. Kendall says she is going for a drink. Jake arrives and Amanda tearfully says they shut the company down. "It's all gone. All my money, all my dreams," she says in tears. Jake hugs her and says she'll be okay because she is a smart woman. He kisses her. Aidan picks up his bug, hears the kissing noises and thinks it is Greenlee!
