On the plane, Kendall, Annie, Ryan and Zach make small talk. Annie begins feeling airsick and runs for the bathroom. Ryan asks Kendall what is really going on. She tries to convince him that they are just trying to bond with Annie but he doesn't believe her - especially when she brings up the hidden key. Ryan tells her to back off and goes after Annie. Zach says Kendall could use classes in sensitivity and tells her to back off, too. He says if she keeps pushing they will never learn the truth. She agrees to back off. At the bathroom, Annie hears Richie's voice tell her that she will never by okay until Greenlee is out of the way. She leaves the restroom and tells Ryan she just wants things to get back to normal. She reminds him that in the hospital he said family comes first. Kendall comes over and asks how Annie is doing. She says she is fine and apologizes for acting so strangely. She says she wants things to get back to normal. Kendall says she'll try and hugs Annie. She asks about the accident and keeps questioning her when Annie says she doesn't remember. Ryan hears their raised voices and asks what is going on. Kendall says they were talking about moving on and sits down with Zach to play cards. A while later, Annie returns to Ryan and asks what he is thinking about. "The woman I love," he says.
I'm Not Going Anywhere!
At the hospital, Jake tells Ryan and Annie how lucky they were and then leaves to get the release papers going. Annie talks about their miracle but Ryan is quiet. He leaves to check messages so Annie calls Rachael and asks her to bring Emma to the hospital. Ryan returns and says Dre was just arrested for the hit-and-run! Annie pretends to be shocked that they really were the culprits. Ryan doesn't believe she is upset about the arrest. She plays up to him, saying she is at fault for everything because she brought Richie to town. When he sees how stressed out she is, Ryan changes the subject by saying they need to focus on their family. Annie looks across the room and sees Richie in the corner! Emma arrives. They show her the ultrasound and she says she wants a sister. Then, she asks if Ryan is going to live with them again. Emma falls asleep. Ryan apologizes to Annie for causing her any doubts. He says he'll be better from now on and caresses her belly. He says he'll get things right this time around. Ryan goes to get her release papers. Annie sees Richie again. He tells her she is crazy and she tells him to leave her alone.
Dre Takes The Heat!
Ryan tells Kendall the key doesn't mean anything but Kendall is certain that the key is important and wants to find out what it opens. She tells him the key could tell them who the real father of Annie's baby is. This angers Ryan. Kendall insists that Annie has secrets and her secrets are more dangerous than his secrets! Aidan and Greenlee walk in and she asks what secrets they're talking about. Ryan clams up. Aidan tells them about the gas leak when Kendall wonders why they are at the office. Ryan takes Aidan aside and asks about the investigation. He asks Aidan to look into the key! Zach calls, tells Kendall to get Ryan to the hospital and hangs up. She tells Ryan that Annie is okay but shaken up and he hurries out. Greenlee advises Kendall to go after him. While she is gathering a few things, Greenlee chatters on about moving in to the Yacht Club or his office for a while because her place is cursed. She asks what Ryan was saying to him but Aidan won't tell her.
At the hospital, Zach and Jake keep Annie calm. While Zach is waiting for Ryan, Annie asks Jake about ultrasounds. He says they can do one once Ryan arrives. He walks in a few minutes later and Jake has the equipment brought in. They watch as their baby appears on the screen. After seeing the ultrasound, Ryan leaves to check his voice mail. He hears the message from Annie and calls Aidan to tell him to forget about researching the key. He returns to Annie's side as Jake takes her vital signs.
Confession Is Good For The Soul!
Ryan walks in to the penthouse and sees Annie with a pipe wrench. She explains that a pipe was leaking and she was fixing it. He asks about Emma and Annie says she's at a sleep over with Spike and then says she dropped the bomb about the pregnancy, too. Ryan offers to fix the pipe before his next meeting. She asks if the meeting is with Greenlee and when he says it isn't she admits she saw them at ConFusion the night before. Annie gets emotional and tells him to go to his meeting. He leaves. She grabs the pipe wrench, puts it in her purse and turns around to see Richie in the penthouse! "Miss me?" he asks! Before she can say anything Zach arrives. As she talks about Ryan and the pregnancy, Richie taunts her to tell him what she really plans to do with the pipe wrench. Zach brings her back to the present. She blames her weirdness on pregnancy hormones and then apologizes for telling Jesse about the beating. Zach says it is in the past and invites her to sit with him. She tells him that she wants to leave Pine Valley with Ryan! Zach suggests she take Ryan to his Las Vegas casino for a second honeymoon. She says he and Kendall should come along so that she can mend those fences. Zach agrees to set it up. When she turns around, Richie is behind the door. He bangs a tire iron against her purse and asks what she is really planning. Annie grabs her bag and leaves the penthouse.
Ryan arrives at Fusion and finds Kendall looking at one of Annie's pictures. They argue about Kendall telling Greenlee the truth about his feelings. Ryan says he'll stop loving Greenlee; Kendall says he can't stay with nut-job Annie because Annie will hurt Greens! He insists that she has forgiven Greens and slams the photo back on Annie's desk. A key falls out. Both wonder what the key is for.
Add Another Plate To The Table!
Ryan is at ConFusion, alone, when Greenlee surprises him. She tells him that the owner of the sailboat needs to talk to them both because he is afraid Greens will sue him because of the accident. Ryan says he'll help however he can. She says she isn't suing because the accident made things very clear to her. Ryan hides his disappointment when she says she is happy to be with Aidan now. As they talk, Greenlee brings up Jack and Erica and her new, Zen approach to her ex-stepmother. They talk about Kendall and Greens asks why he didn't tell her about his memory returning before telling Kendall; he doesn't answer. She asks about Annie and is thrown when Ryan admits he is excited about having another child but that he isn't sure about his future with Annie. Greens tells him that he belongs with Annie. Ryan brings up their child and apologizes for running out on her. He swears he will never be that man again - to anyone - no matter what. He tells her a few bad jokes, making her laugh. She takes his hand and wishes him the best with Annie. Just then, Annie walks in.
Tiny Confrontations!
Annie freaks out when Ryan breaks the nanny-cam. She says they may need that tape and then blames him for them not saying more on tape. Ryan thinks she is trying to frame the kids! Annie keeps up her story that she wants Richie's killer brought to justice. Ryan doesn't believe her and tells her so! She begs him to believe in her and then fakes a near-fainting spell. She starts talking about the baby, says she won't keep any more secrets and practically begs him to love her. Ryan asks why she is so set on framing the kids. She tells him about Richie's manipulations and how he got her to pay his bail. She says between Richie's manipulations, Jesse's questions and Kendall's doubts she felt like she had to do it to clear herself! Ryan hugs her. She brings up the baby and asks if he is happy. He says he loves all his kids and he loves this one, too. He stays with her on the couch until Annie falls asleep and then Ryan goes to the terrace and stares outside. "Greenlee," he whispers.
Lies, Lies and More Lies!
Ryan asks Annie what she is doing with the camera. She says it is a nanny-cam she bought when he moved out. He is still suspicious and says he wants the truth! She says she was just testing the camera but Ryan doesn't believe her. Annie breaks down and says the kids killed Richie! Ryan asks how she knows this. She tells him about overhearing Colby and the other kids talking about the hit and run. He wonders why she just didn't call the police. Annie can't explain that. She brings up Kendall and says she was just trying to clear Zach so that Kendall will forgive her. Ryan says she should have come to him; she says she hasn't been able to depend on him for months. He swears he isn't going anywhere; she asks if he loves her and Ryan can't answer. She sticks with her story - that she was trying to help Zach but now she can't consider turning in Cassandra or Colby. She flashes back to Richie's murder for a moment. He grabs the nanny-cam again and asks what she wants to do. They watch the tape; Ryan says it doesn't prove anything at all. Annie says she just wants to move on with her life. She wants to go to the police but Ryan says she can't. He destroys the nanny-cam!
Annie Sets Her Plan In Motion!
Ryan stops by Aidan's office and asks him to investigate the botched surgery! Ryan says he never received notification about the botched surgery, which the office says they sent, but all of the other men did. They talk about having kids and Ryan realizes Aidan still wants kids even though he says he is fine with Greenlee's no kids ultimatum. He tells Aidan that Greens changes her mind often. Ryan leaves. Greenlee calls to tell him she loves him.
