As they arrive at Zach's office, Kendall wants him to tell her what happened at the warehouse - and she has an incentive for him. She is going to start following his rules; no more risking her life. Surprising him, Kendall says she is making a change - she won't answer doors or phones and she'll even stay at the offices instead of their condo. Realizing he is still worried, Kendall brings up the warehouse. What did he find there? Reluctantly, Zach shares the love letters with her. Neither knows what to make of the "R" signature or the contents. Ryan arrives, with his own surprise. He has brought Spike to see Kendall! Once Kendall leaves, Ryan tells Zach his real reason for visiting - he wants the truth, the whole truth about what happened at the warehouse! Though he doesn't want to, Zach shows Ryan the love letters, and offers to make him a copy. What else? Ryan knows there is more; Zach tells him about the note from the killer. It was destroyed in the explosion but he describes it to Ryan. Still unsatisfied, Ryan asks what else happened. Zach stonewalls him. Ryan may be trying to help, but this is Zach's family, and he will not give Ryan full access. Once more the memory of being locked in a closet assaults Zach, but rather than share, Zach tells Ryan to leave. Just then, Josh arrives. When Zach tries to leave them alone, Josh stabs him with a full syringe! Within seconds Zach is woozy from the drug. Josh shows him the syringe and tells him it contains truth serum! Both men want the truth, the whole truth, from Zach! Almost holding him down in a chair, Ryan begins questioning Zach, but instead of telling them about the warehouse, Zach tells them he was there when Greg Madden was buried. He didn't do it, but he was there! Ryan isn't interested in Greg Madden, he wants to know about the warehouse - what isn't Zach telling them?
Unable to resist the drug, Zach tells them about the love letters and the note about Kendall - and the portrait! There was a picture of his mother, doctored to have Kendall's face. Ryan wants to know why Zach didn't tell him about the portrait. He says he didn't want Ryan to tell Kendall, to upset her. Zach tries to leave but Ryan and Josh restrain him. They aren't finished yet. What did Zach find in the warehouse that he isn't telling them? Zach grimaces as more memories assault him. He wants out, but Ryan won't let him go. Zach begins breathing hard, trying to resist the truth serum, but won't tell Ryan about the memories. Ryan demands Zach talk; withholding information will only hurt Ryan's son, Spike and could even harm Kendall. "You care about your son," Zach says. "Do you care about both your children?"
Kendall is in the Killer's Crosshairs!
On the roof at Fusion, Kendall is tired of Ryan trying to scare her. She isn't leaving her company or her husband. Why can't he understand that? On the other side of the argument, Ryan doesn't understand why Kendall won't protect herself. Giving up on getting through to her, Ryan goes inside the building. From above, someone is watching Kendall. She tries to reach Zach on his cell, but leaves a message when he doesn't answer. From above, the Satin Slayer loads a dart into a rifle and takes aim! Befor he or she can shoot, Ryan comes back, more angry than ever. He is tired of Kendall's attitude. She needs to take care of herself! Standing in front of her, Ryan blocks the killer's aim and frustrated, he or she sets down the gun. Ryan hears a noise and sees a shadow on the accompanying roof! Eager to catch the culprit, Ryan orders the guards to take Kendall inside - and runs after the killer!
Meanwhile, inside the Fusion offices, Erica is concerned for Bianca and Josh. Can't they see that Maggie and Babe are working them? She focuses her anger on Babe. Why is she at Fusion - with Josh! - if what she wants is to take care of JR? Kendall and the guards come in, extinguishing the arguments. As Kendall fills them in, the room becomes quiet. Kendall orders the guards to go after Ryan. They can't leave him alone. Kendall and Bianca hug. A few minutes later, Derek and Jack arrive with several police officers to help in the search. As they are about to go onto the roof, Ryan comes in a back door. He lost the suspect! It was too dark to get a good look at the person so he can't provide a description. Ryan asks if Kendall gets it yet - she is in danger and needs to take care of herself. Jack interrupts, telling the crowd that the flowers sent to Kendall were ordered on Simone's account. They need to lock down Fusion. No! Kendall doesn't want the company shut down, they need to work, to save the company or the killer will win. Erica picks up the flower and note meant for Kendall as Ryan continues trying to convince her to leave. Erica has as idea - she's run companies before. She'll run Fusion for the girls. They can operate from the New Beginnings offices; she'll even carry the cash flow problems for the company. Bianca agrees almost immediately. Babe says she'll agree if Kendall will. After a slight hesitation, Kendall agrees - but reminds Erica this is only for a little while and they will pay back her generous offer.

Kendall asks Annie if she and Ryan are sleeping together. Ryan and Josh drug Zach!
Somebody's Watching!
At the Fusion offices, Babe tells the crowd about the ribbon and wonders if the flowers are for her instead of Kendall. There is no doubt when Ryan shows the note. "Kendall" is written on it. Though certain she is the next target, Kendall refuses to leave work and won't hear of Ryan shutting down Fusion.
Meanwhile at the police department, Jack meets with Tad to discuss the case. Derek angrily confronts an officer about an old report, as Jack and Tad wonder if Derek is too close to the case. Tad wants to look into Kenny Adler, but Derek says Kenny doesn't matter - they need to focus on Zarf!
At the Chandler mansion, Adam finds JR going through Krystal's purse. JR says he wants Krystal's phone to find little A's playgroup number. Adam doesn't buy it. Dixie interrupts and confronts JR. What is he trying to accomplish? JR tries to change the subject. He knows Dixie is keeping secrets and he wants to know what is going on!
Alone in the warehouse, Zach touches the painting. "He was here," he says, and begins to go through boxes. Inside one he finds a toy train. "What do you want from me?" he asks angrily, feeling that someone is there with him. Continuing to search, Zach finds love letters tied together with a white satin ribbon. As he begins to read, someone is watching! Cameras in the vent system are sending video to someone watching through closed-circuit television!
At Fusion, Ryan calls the cops. He uses the flowers and the ribbon as an excuse to shut down the company. The girls aren't safe and Zarf/Zoe isn't the only suspect. Ryan tells them about Kenny Adler. Kendall doesn't believe Kenny could be connected and wants Ryan to reconsider. It has to be Zarf! Bianca and Babe disagree - Zarf isn't the culprit. But they do agree all are safer together than apart. Ryan tries to call Zach - maybe he can talk sense into Kendall! - but cannot get through.
At Fusion, Kendall tries to rally the troops to get back to business. Ryan leaves and Bianca suggests Kendall drop out of sight. Maggie agrees, but she wants Bianca to leave as well - to go to Paris with her! Josh pipes up that if the women are going to work they should stay together at all times. Babe tells Kendall she'll stay. They're in this together and they shouldn't leave Fusion or let it be shut down! Babe has plans to rejuvenate their campaign, but Josh still wants them to leave, at least for the day. A frustrated Kendall goes to the roof for some air.
Kendall's guard checks the roof and then leaves her alone. Someone pounces on Kendall from the roof, knocking her back! It is Ryan, trying to make a point. Even with guards Kendall is not safe at Fusion. She needs to get out of Pine Valley - and away from Zach! Kendall refuses. She won't leave Zach alone. He needs her.
At the warehouse, the killer turns off the television. Zach continues reading the letters to Amelia, his mother. Whoever wrote them was trying to convince Amelia to leave her husband, to be with him. When Amelia doesn't leave her husband, the writer wonders why. The letters are signed, "R" and the last was written right after Amelia died! As Zach finishes the letters the open warehouse door slams shut!
Alone in the warehouse, Zach can't get a cell signal. The painting catches his eye. "Oh, God. . .Kendall!" he exclaims. Angry that someone is targeting her to get to him, Zach angrily yells at whoever it may be, "You can't take Kendall," he yells as he pounds on the closed door.
At Fusion, Ryan asks Kendall to leave. Just for the day but she insists on staying. She won't leave Zach and she won't leave Fusion. Ryan and the guard leave her on the roof, but she isn't alone! Someone is watching her through binoculars.
Will Dani Be Used As Bait?
Jonathan and Amanda go to the police to tell detectives about Kenny's disappearing act. In their eyes he is more guilty than ever, but the detective won't listen. He tells Jonathan and Amanda the police have their suspect and he is right downstairs! Ryan arrives. He agrees with Jonathan, the police need to track down Kenny. Finally the detective agrees to look into Kenny's past. Before they can provide a description, Kenny arrives at the station. Rather than questioning him, the detective welcomes Kenny!
Meanwhile at Zarf/Zoe's jail cell, he angrily tells Josh not to talk about Babe. Zarf wants to know what Josh sees when he looks into Zarf's eyes. "Pain," Josh replies. Slowly, Zarf walks to the cell doors, amazed he realizes Josh just called him Zoe.
