Kendall arrives at Fusion as the last of the shipments is sent out. She sends Randi downstairs with one of the delivery people as Amanda walks in with a reporter covering the event. She questions Amanda about the low-cost product line. The reporter leaves and Amanda tells Kendall they need to have a staff meeting once all of the women arrive. Erica arrives and tells Kendall that Adam is definitely after Fusion! Erica says Adam and Annie are working together! Kendall wonders how they will try to take Fusion but Erica says Adam can't concentrate on work when he is around her so she hasn't been able to get the details. Kendall begs her to try to keep Adam's focus on business. Erica calls Adam and asks if they can see one another right away. He agrees.
Adam ushers Erica into the sitting room and offers her breakfast. She brings up Kendall and says, even if it is a success, Bella is a huge mistake! She says it will change how people think of Fusion and that someone has to step in. "You're talking takeover!" Adam exclaims. She says she doesn't mean a full-blown takeover, she just thinks someone else needs to be in charge. Adam says that someone shouldn't be Babe and pretends he doesn't want her name connected with a failed launch. Erica calls him on it. He admits he is still ambivalent about Babe. Petey arrives; Adam tries to shoo him away before Erica sees. She wonders what he is doing so he kisses her to distract her! She says he hasn't lost his touch. Adam says the gardener was distracting him and then goes to the terrace. Petey reports in about the department store staff and how worried Babe is but says Amanda pushed the launch. "That means prior knowledge - and punitive damages!" Adam says gleefully. Erica tries to listen from inside. Adam returns, tells Erica that their friendship is going places and kisses her.
Annie's Got A Gun!
JR and Babe come back into the main room as little A starts choking! Annie jumps into action and performs the Heimlich; Kendall screams at Annie to get her hands off of little A. Zach hurries in with Angie just as little A starts breathing again. Frankie checks over little A; Carmen tells Randi she has a good man. Adam returns as the ambulance arrives but JR says it isn't needed because little A is going to be fine. JR thanks everyone for coming and pronounces the kiddo okay. The party resumes. Frankie asks Randi if she is ready to go and then leaves to make a call. Carmen tells Randi to let Frankie sweep her off her feet. Randi is afraid that she can't be the woman Frankie needs. Angie asks Krystal where Tad is; Krystal doesn't know. Petey goes to Colby, who is very upset that she didn't jump into action to save little A. She is worried that she'll freeze again sometime when she is needed. Petey reminds her that she didn't freeze at Jenny's birth. Tad returns to the party, followed by Jesse. Tad asks where he has been and Jesse lies about being at work. Tad questions him and won't let Jesse go into the main room. Jesse sidesteps his questions until Tad accuses him of having an affair! He says he overheard the cell phone conversation. Jesse lies again. Tad says he heard Jesse say, "I love you." He says Jesse has to tell Angie everything - or Tad will! Jesse will only say that he had another life for 20 years but he is committed to Angie. He says things were supposed to be over but the person in his past can't let go. Tad tells him to tell Angie.
Zach and Erica take Kendall into Adam's office and tell her off. Kendall says Annie was just trying to get back into Ryan's good graces. "A little boy was choking and you screamed at the one person who tried to save him!" Erica exclaimed. Zach says this is just another sign that Kendall can't stop herself from wanting Ryan!
Back at the party, JR tells Adam to get rid of all the guns - or lose all of them! He and Babe storm off. Krystal catches up with Tad and asks about Jesse. Tad says Jesse is in a tough situation but he is going to tell Angie everything. Adam catches up with Annie and says he knows she put the gun in her room. Annie says Kendall must have done it! Adam doesn't believe her. He says Kendall needs to be distracted for their Fusion plan to work; Erica walks in and asks why they are talking about Fusion. Annie says they were singing Babe's praises. Adam goes on and on about the preliminary numbers from Bella and then tells Erica they should return to their date. Annie walks out. Adam asks how he can make their broken date up to her. She tells him to call her.
An Engagement Oops!
Erica listens as Kendall gets snippy with Zach about Spike's schedule. She walks out. Erica asks Zach what is going on. "You two are so much alike it's scary," he says and walks out. Kendall returns and after Erica fills her in on Adam, accuses her of falling for him again! Erica says she has everything under control and tries to talk to Kendall about Zach but she won't talk about her husband. Instead, Kendall tells Erica to focus on Adam. Adam calls and asks Erica to be the hostess for the engagement party. Kendall tells her to do it but Erica refuses.
Petey finds Adam in the drawing room and tells him Greenlee has a tainted bottle; Adam says it doesn't matter as Erica walks in. Petey makes an excuse about going to the wrong room and leaves. Adam thanks Erica for coming; she asks why he was talking about Greenlee. Adam says Greenlee has taken a shine to him; Erica walks away.
Back in the main room, Adam offers a toast to the happy couple. JR interrupts and makes his own toast, telling Babe how much he loves her. Frankie goes to Randi's side and puts his arm around her. Zach and Kendall watch as JR gets down on one knee and grabs a new ring box from little A - it's empty! JR isn't sure what is going on. He and Babe leave to find the ring. Jake convinces Amanda to leave with him. Carmen tells Randi not to be afraid of sex; Randi says she isn't afraid of sex because she was once a hooker! Angie and Frankie watch the women. Angie says Randi is a lovely woman. JR and Babe return but they can't find the ring. Little A begins to choke!
Lightning Strike!
Adam escorts Erica to her room. The lights go out and another blast of thunder and lightning lights up the night. Erica gets more unnerved but Adam calms her down. The power comes back on and Adam picks up the phone - to call Jack! Erica tells him to stop. He says Jack and Carmen are as electric as the storm outside and she has to accept that; Erica says she has chosen but Adam doesn't believe her. He says their two marriages are proof enough that she still wants him. Erica says she only wants a friend and isn't interested in romantic entanglements right now. "You can't live without one!" he exclaims. She says he is wrong. Adam asks if this is just because both Sam and Jack have left her behind. Erica changes her tune and says he is absolutely right and she is lonely!
Kendall arrives home and makes Zach admit that he isn't happy. Zach says she is no happier than he is but she won't admit it. She insists that she is happy with their life but Zach keeps pushing her. She asks how to reach him in his unhappiness. He doesn't know. "You say it's enough, me and the boys," he says, "there's no one between us?" Kendall realizes that he blames Ryan for their problems! She says Ryan is just a friend who needs a little attention. Zach says she is spending too much time in Ryan's life. Kendall brings up Greenlee. Zach tells her to leave Greenlee alone because she is in love with Aidan. Kendall insists that Greenlee's life and marriage is her business and that Kendall needs to accept that. Zach asks why she can't let Ryan go. She insists that she has let Ryan go but Zach doesn't believe her. Erica arrives and insists on seeing Kendall. Zach goes upstairs so they can talk. Erica goes on and on about Adam's high-handedness and says she can't tolerate any more time with him! Kendall says she is the only one who can do it but Erica says she can't. She walks out.
