Liza arrives at Tad's house and announces that David knows everything! She says he has a gun! Tad asks how he found out. She says she told him. Tad sends her home to look after her own baby, saying he'll let her know what happens. He turns on the television in time to see a report about a baby being turned in to the police station! Jake and Amanda come barreling through the door saying they've got a lead. Tad says, "Screw that - I think I've found the baby!"
I'm Coming Baby!
At the hospital Jake tells Tad he is to blame for Amanda's missing child. He vows to come clean on everything but Tad tells him not to risk his future. He says they'll find another way.
In her hospital room, David tells Liza that Zach lied to her about the head injury! She doesn't believe him but David keeps pushing her, saying someone else inflicted her injury. She won't listen but lets her affair with Zach slip out. David jumps on the information so Liza backtracks, insisting she only kissed Zach and has too much on her plate to have a full-fledged affair. He suggests Adam may have hit her but she doesn't believe that either. David spots Zach down the hall and tells him to get out. Zach asks about Liza. David says she is under observation and confronts Zach about her injuries. He suggests that Zach hit Liza; Zach tells him to call the cops and goes into Liza's room. She backs away from him and Zach convinces her that a door really did fall on her head. He leaves. Jake and Tad come in. Jake beats himself up for the baby switch; Liza and Tad try reassuring him. She thanks Jake for giving her a son and says he'll find Amanda's baby, too.
Liza Gets Conked!
Tad tells Jake that he can’t believe Nurse Gayle ended up with a bar! They agree that David still thinks Stuart is his child. Amanda joins them and says her baby is with strangers and they may never get him back. She leaves and Jake tells Tad he doesn’t know what to do. He admits he faked a baby’s death so going to the police is problematic. They hear a car leaving, Jake looks out the front door and says that Amanda took off.
Liza arrives at Tad’s and tells him about her encounter with Zach when she first came back to Pine Valley. She says his eyes seduced her. Tad makes jokes while Liza tells him it was more than a one night stand. She admits she has feelings for Zach. He tells her to find a way to forget Zach, that Kendall and Zach are untouchable. She asks Tad what she should do. He recommends that if she can’t forget Zach, she should take the kids and leave Pine Valley. She says that’s exactly what she will do. Tad says that he knows she won’t leave and that she does too.
That's How We Do It In The Trailer Park!
Tad is at ConFusion speaking to Jake and Amanda on the phone - they tell him nothing is happening in Massachusetts. He says David just walked in and hangs up. He then calls Liza and tells her to make a beeline down to the bar! Tad goes over and sits down with David. He tells him it's open mic night - he should stick around and heckle! David says he has to be going, but just then, Liza arrives and joins them. Tad gets up on stage to do a stand-up routine. He cracks jokes about David and Liza as though they're a couple. David confronts him after, saying he appears to be matchmaking. Tad scoffs at David's serious demeanor, then leaves. David asks Liza to stay and eat with him. David asks if he can pick up Stuart. Liza allows it, and she and David flirt a little. He asks if they can do this again sometime. She says, "Why not?" He leaves. Tad, who has been hiding, tells her she did excellent - he'd swear that she really liked David! Liza says she's more relaxed now that she knows he's not David's baby.
Zip It!
At the hospital, Taylor tells Tad that she found out no abandoned babies have been turned in there - she posed as a reporter. Taylor is worried a stranger picked up the baby, but Tad is sure it's David. He calls Jake, who says they haven't found out anything in Massachusetts yet. As Tad chats, Taylor spots David, who is talking to Colby, and hears him ask if the delivery arrived, and say he'll be there in twenty minutes. She tells Tad what she heard and he takes off, sending Taylor in to tell Opal the latest. Opal beats herself up over not standing up to Joe and getting to the baby when she was supposed to! Taylor says she's worried about the baby too. Opal probes about Taylor and Tad, and asks to see her palm. She then tells Taylor she's an amazing woman, and advises her to stay true to herself - wonderful things are in store!
Liza gets another knock on her door soon after David has left. It's Tad asking what David's visit was about? He admits he was following David. Liza asks if this has to do with Stuart - does David know the truth - that he is Amanda's baby? Tad says no, quite the opposite. He then tells her that Stuart is not David and Amanda's baby! Tad says that as her friend, he owes her the truth - he then tells it. Liza asks who the birth parents are then? Tad says he has no idea - it was a private adoption. Tad tells the tale up to the point where Amanda's baby went missing. Liza is aghast that the child has disappeared. Tad then asks what David was doing there. She says David hit on her and she told him she wasn't interested. Tad tells her he's worried that David has Trevor. Tad warns that this has to be kept quiet, and Liza offers to help. Tad suggests that if David has the baby, it would help to have someone get close to him. Liza says if it helps get the baby back, she'll do it. When Tad leaves, Liza is thrilled that her baby is really hers - no one is going to take him away!
In the hospital corridor, Tad and Taylor argue about whether or not to go to the police. Tad says they can't! Around the corner, Natalia makes a phone call to the station to see if there have been any missing babies reported!
Necessary Precautions.
Tad arrives at the hospital and asks a few questions about David - trying to find out if he's been at the hospital the whole afternoon. The nurse says David has been there all day. Joe corrals Tad to ask about a fundraiser. David appears and wonders why Tad was looking for him. Joe pipes up and says he was looking for him - he brings up the African fundraiser. David smirks that they'd like to see him halfway around the world, wouldn't they?! When David walks away, Tad thanks Joe for the cover. Joe asks Tad to go to Africa, but he declines. Tad asks again about David's schedule. Joe is puzzled, and Tad says he'll explain at a later date.
