Tad is behind the bar at the dance marathon. David approaches and introduces his babysitter, before announcing that he'll be dancing with the mother of his child! Liza appears and David tells her he's taken! After he's gone, Tad explains how the marathon works to Liza, then asks if she's in. She says she'll need a partner.
Taylor approaches Tad at the bar. He says it's probably best that Erica asked him to bartend - he's got two left feet. Taylor says she had hoped to dance with him, but he says he'd better not let Erica down. She says she'll sign up to help as he walks away. Brot appears and says he's surprised she isn't dancing! They decide to dance together. Natalia approaches and Brot explains that he and Taylor will be dancing - just as friends! Natalia then walks over to Jesse who asks her to stick by Annie Lavery!
Tad officially begins the dance marathon saying that couples can only take breaks when people make donations at certain levels in their name. Jake starts manning the phones. On the dance floor, David tells Amanda everyone is watching them, reminding her that they have to keep touching. As the Hubbards dance, Madison lurks.
Borrowing Courage.
At ConFusion, Taylor tells Tad that she is thinking of opening her own bar. He is distracted, and apologizes for not paying attention. Jake comes in and orders a drink. He laments that David has his wife and child and he'll try to marry Amanda. Tad tries to reassure him, and they bicker. Taylor intervenes - telling Jake to just take control! Jake gets up and leaves abruptly and Taylor is taken aback when Tad tells her to keep her opinion to herself next time! Taylor tells Tad that he's just annoyed with himself - because he wouldn't fight for Amanda the way Jake is! They bicker, and she ends up walking out on him!
Liza arrives at ConFusion as Taylor is walking out on Tad. Liza tells Tad, "That looked messy!" Taylor is stopped by Brot, who wants to round up Frankie and get a drink to remember 9/11. They leave. Liza and Tad discuss Taylor, and Liza wonders if he's really that into her. He brings up Zach. She says if there is the slightest chance for them, she'll keep fighting! Tad says he'll be with Kendall once Liza gets her out of prison. She still thinks there's a shot. Just then, Liza gets a call from Zach saying he thinks they should do it - set up a visit between Annie and Emma.
Enough to Drive a Man to Drink!
Tad and JR are at ConFusion and JR is having trouble eating. Angie comes in, and JR tells her that Tad knows what is going on. She encourages him to eat even though he doesn't feel like it. Randi comes in to meet Angie and they wonder where Jesse and Frankie are.
At the hospital, Jake wonders what is wrong with Trevor, when Amanda and David come in with him. David tells him it's none of his business, and to stay away from his son! Jake calls Tad, who says that he'll be right there.
When Tad leaves ConFusion, JR tells him he'll stay and try to eat something. Scott appears and joins JR. He says he's sorry that Adam asked him to be best man, and notes that living in that house would drive any man to drink. JR sighs, and says he's not drinking. Scott asks why he looks so bad then? JR wonders why Scott is staying in the house if it's so bad. He accuses him of wanting Annie, saying he can smell it a mile away! JR advises him to get her out of his head, or he'll have a heck of a time keeping her out of his bed!
Amanda tells Jake in the hospital corridor that they came to the hospital because David insisted on a full check-up. David appears and says his son developed a fever after being abandoned in an alley. He tells Amanda it's time to go. Jake has a temper tantrum as they walk away, but Tad appears and stops him, urging him not to give David the satisfaction. Tad reminds Jake that David is his boss - he could fire him. Jake rants at Tad, reminding him that he lost Dixie to David - it's not going to happen to him! Tad warns that if Jake does anything, David will get custody of the baby! Jake walks over and asks another doctor how things went with Trevor. The doctor says, "Oh, you mean David Jr.!"
A Whole New Glow!
In the Martin living room, Marissa assures Tad, Krystal, and Liza that she will be at Wildwind - she will keep an eye on David - and the baby. When Marissa leaves, the others speculate about what Jake might be doing right now. Tad remarks that Jake said he'd rather rot in prison than cut a deal with David!
