Marissa and JR arrive at the hospital. Tad reassures a frantic Marissa, who thinks that someone died! They go into Krystal's room as she awakens. Angie joins them and tells Krystal that she has a concussion. Tad heads out into the hallway, where he encounters David with Liza. Tad grits his teeth and informs David that he could have killed Krystal, but she's okay. David heads into the room and tells Krystal he is sorry. Marissa reads him the riot act, and even turns on Krystal for getting in the car with him! She says she's not ready to lose another set of parents and stalks out of the room! She passes Tad and Liza, who are discussing Krystal asking for David as soon as she opened her eyes. Liza wonders if he wants Krystal back, telling him that in spite of the hammerhead big toe - he's quite a catch!
Tad meets up with Taylor at Confusion and puzzles her by saying that he guesses 'Tad the Cad' is finally gone. They share a few laughs as he explains. They drink to not being alone! As they continue to drink and laugh, Brot returns with a huge bouquet of roses! He watches them, unseen, for a moment before leaving.
Karma.
Jake and Amanda arrive home and he impresses on her the importance of convincing everyone that they lost the baby. Amanda says it's not so difficult - she does feel like he's gone! They go in and Tad embraces Jake, whispering that Liza told him everything - he knows all about their little plan! They head outside to get the bags, while Krystal tells Amanda that her husband will help her get through this. She tells her she understands.
Outside the Martin house, Tad tells Jake that Liza had no choice but to tell him - he hit her in the stomach with a dart and he almost had a heart attack! Tad wearily asks if Amanda is okay, and wonders if Jake still loves her. Jake says this is his life - she's his wife.
Tad arrives home to find a police officer waiting outside the house. He tells Tad that there's been an accident - Krystal Carey is in the hospital!
Tad arrives at the hospital and Krystal tells him it was just a little bump on the head. As she is describing how David took the wheel, she suddenly collapses - Tad catches her!
Village Idiot.
Liza works to convince Tad, in the Martin living room, that he must keep her secret - she'll give the baby a good life! She tells him it's the only way to protect the child. Tad says five people have to live with a lie for the rest of their lives! Liza explains that she's tried to conceive - she can't. Tad calls Jake the village idiot and stresses that nothing about this could be legal. Liza doesn't care, she considers Amanda's baby to be her son!
After the call from Jake, Liza rants to Tad that they can't take her baby! They hear Colby pull up outside the Martin house. She and Petey come in as Tad whispers for Liza to fix her 'bump'. Petey compliments Liza's glow, and Colby reaches out to see if the baby is kicking, but Liza tensely tells her not to do that! Colby is taken aback. Liza says she's late and has to go. Petey tries to soothe an upset Colby. He asks her if she wants lots of kids - he does! Colby walks out in disgust, telling him they're only friends! Tad sits Petey down and tells him he might have to prepare himself for the possibility that he won't win Colby's heart!
Tad goes to Confusion and orders a lightening bolt from Josh the bartender. His eyes grow large as he notices Taylor walk in! She sees him too, and smiles.
You Killed My Son!
At the Martin house, Liza gets Tad to come around - he fainted after getting a dart in her baby bump! She tells him that she's not pregnant - it's a fake! She reveals the pad, and Tad prods it curiously with his finger. Liza says she's missed having a family since Colby left, but she's through with relationships. She says Colby wants a family too. Tad says Colby will figure out her sister or brother is part of the sofa! Liza turns away as she says she hasn't figured it out yet. Tad realizes what's going on - accusing her of planning to steal Amanda's baby! Liza, exasperated, says Jake was going to give it to her! She tells Tad the plan, admitting that Amanda doesn't actually know the baby is going to her! Tad says she's out of her red-headed mind - and they're underestimating David!
