At the front of the church, David goes on with his apology to Amanda. She jumps up and says it's all a sham! Jake quickly stands up and blurts that it's a sham for David to stand up there and apologize after all he's done. David asks Amanda if that's what she meant, but before Amanda can reply, Liza screams, "The baby! He's coming!" Making a huge scene, Liza is taken out by Jake and Tad, who made a late appearance.
In the car, Tad, Jake, and Liza yell and scream at one another about what will happen next. Liza says she had to do something - Amanda was about to ruin everything! They head to the Martin house to regroup. Jake pours him and Liza a stiff drink. Suddenly, Colby and Petey walk in! Jake swiftly dumps the drinks into a plant and Liza starts labor up again! Chaos ensues as they try to make Liza comfortable! Colby coaches her mother, and finally tells her she loves her! Liza huffs and puffs and says she's going to have her two babies! Jake realizes he has to get Colby out of the room - he tells her he thinks something is wrong and she should wait upstairs. When she clears out, Jake hisses at Liza to slow down her contractions, and shouts, "Where's Tad?!"
Tad picks up the baby from where he was being kept and puts him in the car. He tells the infant that he'll always have his back, and then says, "Come on. Let's go and get you delivered." Tad drives to the Martin residence, telling the baby the only way to keep him safe is to let him go - the only thing they have to figure out is how he's going to make his grand entrance! Tad tells the baby how awful this is for his real mother, Amanda, he doesn't know how he's going to keep this secret! Tad tells the baby when it's time for the truth to come out, though, he'll be right there. A siren cuts through the night.
Tad and Krystal sit on the Martin sofa and she brings up the fact that David lost a child and she knows that he's in a great deal of pain. Tad suggests going out to get sandwiches. Krystal is taken aback - a baby is dead, so let's go to the beach? Tad says he feels for the baby like it was a part of the family - in fact, it's like he's not even gone!
Jake arrives at the Martin household to find Tad ranting and raving about this crazy plan - it's insane! He says Amanda is going to recognize the baby! Jake yells that it will be fine, but Tad insists that she will know the baby, and realize what Jake has done - and she'll never forgive him for it!
Krystal gets back to Tad at the Martin house. He is still cracking jokes and acting inappropriately. She tells him he has to let himself grieve. Tad rolls his eyes and says he's not going to any memorial service - this is too sad!
Taylor comes into Confusion to find Tad sitting there. He says he has a migraine and is keeping a secret. She has a secret too. He urges her to tell him. Taylor holds up her hand with the ring on, and says, "I'm not so sure I love Brot anymore!" Tad is taken aback, but she explains that they're different people. Tad can't give her advice - he thinks Pine Valley has gone crazy! Suddenly, Brot walks in.
At the Martin house, Tad and Liza debate the wisdom of her planning to raise Amanda's baby in Pine Valley. Tad advises her to move away, but she doesn't intend to leave Colby. As they talk, Tad passes on the information that Amanda actually held the baby - Liza is stunned - she can't believe Jake let her see the baby and hold him!
Tad catches Krystal as she collapses in the hospital corridor. Angie rushes over to help! Angie examines her and tells Tad that everything David touches winds up like this - she doesn't know what's wrong with Krystal yet. She confides in Tad about Frankie, saying he's home, and she has no idea how to help him!
JR and Marissa talk about Babe at Confusion. Marissa marvels that she had a twin all these years. Tad calls and tells her that there was an accident and she needs to come to the hospital. Marissa tells JR that it's happening all over again!
