Adam follows Annie to the terrace and thanks her for saving little A. She says it was pure luck. Ryan comes to the terrace and confronts Annie about the gun! She swears she doesn't know why the gun was in the room but Ryan doesn't believe her. Kendall, Erica and Zach come out; Kendall jumps on Ryan's side as Zach and Erica try to keep the peace. Ryan asks for the truth and Kendall says Annie isn't capable of telling the truth! Adam says the gun is his and he put it there! The men want to know why the gun wasn't in the safe; Adam says the safe is too hard to get into. He says he put guns all over the house to protect Babe and the rest of his family. He says he must have forgotten that the gun was there. Kendall says leaving guns lying around is stupid when there are kids in the house. Zach gives Adam the gun and he goes back inside. "Satisfied?" Annie asks. Ryan says he wants Emma out of the house! Annie says he can't take Emma. Kendall butts in, saying Ryan has every right to take his daughter. Annie accuses him of blaming her for the miscarriage and punishing her because of it. Kendall keeps butting in. Zach interrupts and tells everyone to cool off and they'll talk about it in the morning. Kendall backs up her husband. Ryan leaves with them.
Zach takes Kendall and Ryan home. She grabs the phone to call Jack but Zach stops her. She tells Ryan he has to press charges; Zach argues with Kendall, telling her to back off. Ryan tells her the same thing and goes to see Spike. Zach tries to talk to Kendall. She says he is absolutely right - she can't stop meddling in people's lives and ruining her own! She apologizes. He wonders why Ryan was the only one who could show him that!
An Engagement Oops!
Erica listens as Kendall gets snippy with Zach about Spike's schedule. She walks out. Erica asks Zach what is going on. "You two are so much alike it's scary," he says and walks out. Kendall returns and after Erica fills her in on Adam, accuses her of falling for him again! Erica says she has everything under control and tries to talk to Kendall about Zach but she won't talk about her husband. Instead, Kendall tells Erica to focus on Adam. Adam calls and asks Erica to be the hostess for the engagement party. Kendall tells her to do it but Erica refuses.
The party gets underway. Tad questions Jake about his new relationship with Amanda. Jake calls her a kid; Tad says Amanda has been through a lot. Amanda, meanwhile, fawns over Babe's ring. Babe says it is her old one and asks if it’s a bad sign. JR spots Zach; he asks what JR is up to but JR won't say. Ryan walks in with Emma and sees Kendall. She is short with him and returns to Zach. "All that meddling and the world is still turning," she says smartly. Frankie arrives with Randi. Carmen opens the door for them and Randi tells Frankie that Carmen was her foster sister. Angie arrives and takes Frankie aside. Tad sees her arrive alone and comments on it to Krystal. They stop talking when Angie walks over and wishes them luck. When Angie walks away, Tad decides he has to do something. Jake sees Frankie and asks why he didn't say anything about going back to war but Frankie doesn't want to talk about it. Jake spots Amanda, who tells Petey where Colby just ran off to, and asks if he should be jealous. Kendall sees Annie come in and gets antsy. Annie watches Ryan play with Emma, who leads him off to see her new doll. Randi takes Carmen aside and tells her that Frankie is in love with her. Carmen thinks this is great but sees how nervous Randi is - and asks if she is a virgin!
Back in the main room, Adam offers a toast to the happy couple. JR interrupts and makes his own toast, telling Babe how much he loves her. Frankie goes to Randi's side and puts his arm around her. Zach and Kendall watch as JR gets down on one knee and grabs a new ring box from little A - it's empty! JR isn't sure what is going on. He and Babe leave to find the ring. Jake convinces Amanda to leave with him. Carmen tells Randi not to be afraid of sex; Randi says she isn't afraid of sex because she was once a hooker! Angie and Frankie watch the women. Angie says Randi is a lovely woman. JR and Babe return but they can't find the ring. Little A begins to choke!
Lightning Strike!
Kendall arrives home and makes Zach admit that he isn't happy. Zach says she is no happier than he is but she won't admit it. She insists that she is happy with their life but Zach keeps pushing her. She asks how to reach him in his unhappiness. He doesn't know. "You say it's enough, me and the boys," he says, "there's no one between us?" Kendall realizes that he blames Ryan for their problems! She says Ryan is just a friend who needs a little attention. Zach says she is spending too much time in Ryan's life. Kendall brings up Greenlee. Zach tells her to leave Greenlee alone because she is in love with Aidan. Kendall insists that Greenlee's life and marriage is her business and that Kendall needs to accept that. Zach asks why she can't let Ryan go. She insists that she has let Ryan go but Zach doesn't believe her. Erica arrives and insists on seeing Kendall. Zach goes upstairs so they can talk. Erica goes on and on about Adam's high-handedness and says she can't tolerate any more time with him! Kendall says she is the only one who can do it but Erica says she can't. She walks out.
A Storm Is Brewing!
Kendall tries to skirt Zach's question by bringing up Greenlee and says he went behind her back but Zach won't bite. He asks over and over if their marriage is enough for her. Kendall says she loves him, the boys and their home. Zach says he wants an answer to his question; she asks why he doubts her but still doesn't answer. Zach asks why she doesn't want to spend time with him, alone, and why she doesn't want to talk to him about their life. Kendall turns on him. "Why don't you take your questions and accusations to Greenlee," she says, accusing him of inventing these problems. Zach quietly asks what is wrong. Kendall says the only thing wrong is that he is telling their friends about her problems. Zach says he can't reach her any other way and she defends herself, saying she isn't a Stepford wife. Zach says he didn't go to Greenlee, Greenlee came to him and is just as worried. Kendall finally sits down and says she is happy in their marriage. Zach doesn't believe her and she storms out. She hesitates at the door and thinks about going back inside but doesn't.
Kendall returns home long enough to gather Spike and pack a few clothes so he can stay with Ryan. Zach asks why she is doing this. She tells him to listen for Ian and walks out. Ian cries and Zach holds him, promising that Kendall will be home soon.
Kendall Can't Help Herself!
Ryan goes to Zach's office. He tells Zach about the tree planting but is still very torn up about his loss. Zach leaves for home and suggests that Ryan stop by to see Spike soon. Ryan continues looking at the files. Kendall arrives and asks about Zach. Ryan says he went home and tells Kendall to go home, too, but she won't. She insists that Ryan talk to her about his feelings. He tells her to stop but she keeps pushing, telling him to find someone he can talk to even if he can't talk to her. Ryan tells her to stop pushing him toward Greenlee but Kendall says Greens is the only person who can help him now. Ryan gets quiet. Kendall realizes she may have gone too far and leaves.
Kendall arrives home and slams down her keys. Zach asks what is wrong. Kendall says he needs to stop accusing her of meddling and stop telling Greenlee that they are having problems. Zach asks if she is happy in their marriage.
