At Zach's house, Tad tells Zach that Aidan is just doing his job - he's protecting Kendall. Zach still thinks there's something Tad isn't telling him. Tad tells him to back off with the attitude - he's not the enemy. He insists that Aidan is only protecting Kendall, but Zach feels Tad is covering for his friend. Tad asks why he would do that, and Zach says, "Because he's trying to seduce my wife!" Tad tells him that he actually didn't see Kendall, but Aidan was concerned about the FBI finding them. Zach asks why he lied to him. Tad says his paranoia and emotions are going to get them caught! Zach throws him out, then tells Rachel he's leaving for a while. He opens the safe and takes out a gun!
Zach goes to his casino and plays a card game. The dealer gives him a card with the address of where Aidan and Kendall are written on it. The dealer apparently followed Tad. He then gives Zach photos of Kendall and Aidan eating and drinking wine together and hugging. Zach chokes the man, who protests that the photos are the real thing!
Back at the motel, Aidan is alone, tidying up when a woman with hair remarkably like Kendall's approaches him and slips off her kimono! As he begins making love to her, her back is to the window. Zach appears and watches from outside. It looks like Aidan is making love to Kendall!
Another Shot in the Dark!
Erica calls Ryan at the Yacht Club to tell him she saw Scott. Ryan is confident that soon Adam will have no reason to protect Annie and her baby - he'll confess. Zach appears and tells Ryan that whatever he's going to do, he should do it soon because Kendall's coming home! They bicker about the wisdom of such a risky move, but Zach says the risky thing is to have her out there with Aidan - they're out of time! Ryan insists that they're very close, and advises Zach not to mess things up!
JR heads to the Yacht Club, and comes upon Zach telling Ryan he'd choke a confession out of Adam if necessary. JR says he doesn't think that will be required, telling them that they're really close. JR tells them about the footage Adam saw of Annie and Scott. JR walks away, and Zach tells Ryan this is just another shot in the dark! Ryan says they all need to work together. Zach keeps saying they're out of time. He gives Ryan two hours - or he'll get a confession his way!
Tad arrives at Zach's house and tells him he couldn't bring Kendall back - someone tailed him. He says he saw Kendall but Aidan thought it better that he didn't talk to her. Zach demands to know what's going on out there - what is Aidan doing with his wife? Tad says, "It's not Aidan."
Help Me!
Jesse arrives at Zach's house. Zach tells him he wants Kendall brought back here - now. Jesse scoffs at Zach getting upset just because a couple of messages don't sound right. Zach and Jesse have a discussion about being apart. Jesse says she'll be back soon enough, but Zach wants her now. Jesse says just meeting him is suspicious enough - if he leaves town he'll be followed. He advises Zach to chill, but Zach says he's going to find Kendall. Jesse leaves, and Zach summons Tad to the house - he wants him to find Kendall. Zach tells Tad about being at the chapel, but that the last few messages have been different, and there haven't been as many. Tad says that Aidan probably told her to lighten up on the computer use. He muses that he might have an excellent idea where they are - but he can't tell Zach. Tad says he'll go find Kendall and bring her back. Zach sits down and sends a message telling Kendall to sit tight.
Seed of Doubt!
In the hospital waiting area, Adam is overjoyed to hear that Annie didn't miscarry - he and Scott rush in to see her. Jake tells Ryan, Erica, and Zach that Annie was surprised to hear she was pregnant - but she is. Erica wails that Kendall will never be able to come home, but Zach wonders what if the child isn't Adam's? He talks about why Scott stays in the house - he knows something is going on between them. Erica has sensed it too. Zach mentions the video footage of Scott and Annie, and Annie and JR 'making out'. Erica says JR is hitting the bottle half the time, but Scott is a different matter! Ryan says they have to create doubt in Adam that the baby is really his.
Zach gets home and reads a message from Kendall saying that Aidan is keeping her busy, and even took her for a picnic. It also says she has a big comfy bed to sleep in. Zach imagines her in it with Aidan. Zach writes back, telling Kendall that Annie is pregnant, but not to panic - they've got a new plan in place.
Back at home, Zach calls Jesse and leaves a message for him to call back - something's not right with Kendall!
