An Unresponsive Lily is Brought to the Hospital

Out of breath, Jack races around the forest and hears gunshots. Bolting toward the sound, he arrives at the cabin trying to be quiet. Entering he sees Terry shot and Lily sprawled on the floor. He approaches her asking if she's ok but Lily won't respond. Jonathan moves away from the wall asking if he's dead? Jack replies yes and Jonathan drops the gun telling Jack he doesn't know if he made it in time. He tells Jack that he saw Terry standing over Lily smiling and he shot him. Jack calls for an ambulance as he continues to try and reach Lily

Kendall follows behind the ambulance bringing in a wounded Ryan. The doctors frantically work to help him. Kendall turns to Annie asking what the hell she did? Annie is in tears and Jamal tells her she doesn't know the whole story.

The police come to the hospital to talk with Annie and she asks Jamal to take Emma away. Not answering any questions, Kendall replies for her. Julia offers to take Emma for a snack. Annie starts to talk trying to explain that she thought it was her ex-husband. The officer asks why she'd want to shoot her ex? She explains that Terry was let go from jail and he's a monster! Annie continues telling the officer if he doesn't believe her to ask Jaskon Montgomery because Terry has harmed his daughter too.

While Kendall paces the floor, Jamal and Annie talk about Terry. Jeff approaches Kendall and tells them all that he's going to be fine, he removed the bullet from Ryan. Kendall heads in to see him. Entering the room, she fixes the blankets on Ryan and watches over him stroking his face. He slowly awakes to find Kendall by his side holding his hand. Ryan asks where Annie is and Kendall assures him she's with Jamal. She tells him he's scared the heck out of her and tells him Spike and her need him! He tells her there's no way she's getting rid of him!

David approaches Julia and demands for her to get some blood work and such. Julia refuses to leave Emma alone but David insists stating he'll watch the little girl. David talk with Emma telling her he knows where she came from and offers her a lollipop but sneaks a DNA swipe from her cheek. He then gives her a lollipop and places the sample in his pocket while Julia storms back handing him his files.

Kendall approaches Annie telling her that Ryan is going to be ok. Seeing Derek, Kendall tells him that the shooting was really an accident but Derek responds that he's there for Lily who's been attacked.

Jeff rushes to Lily's side going over her vitals and asks for a rape kit as a stunned group plead NO, not Lily. As they rush her in to the ER room, Annie see's Terry being brought in and Jonathan tells her he's not going to hurt anyone any longer. Emma runs in but Annie grabs her and pulls her away from the sight of her dead father. Jonathan looks on at Annie as she approaches him. Hugging Jonathan, she breaks out in tears. Derek asks Jonathan to come down to the station with him to explain what happened.

Kendall heads back into Ryan's room to find him resting and watches him sleep as she holds his hand to her face.

Josh Has a Drink with Jeff

Josh sees Jeff at the bar and remains sarcastic as usual. He snaps at the bartender not to go away again because he has to keep the drinks coming. He approaches Jeff and takes a low blow at him, stating he could careless about the mighty Queen Erica and not to bother talking with him about coming back to the hospital either! He tells Jeff to quit playing the guilt card but Jeff interrupts him and replies for him take his best shot! He then tells Josh to sit down and have a drink like a grown up.

Trying to have a conversation he asks Josh how his job is going? Josh snaps wondering why he asks, that he should be ashamed what he does instead of saving lives? Jeff replies telling him he'll take a rain check with him. Josh thanks him for "stepping up to the plate and sticking around him for the long haul"! He tells Josh to cut him a break and quit the bullshit, to give him a list of topics they can talk about, facial expressions he finds acceptable or… Josh tells him enough, he gets the point! Jeff replies that they are connected and they can either find a way to relate or at least heal and get past it all.
Jeff starts to chew on ice and Josh tells him he does the same thing, thinking it's weird.

Jeff replies not so much and asks him to stick around for another drink.

Lily Finalizes Plans to Meet Up With Terry

Babe has a drink with Amanda at ConFusion. She tells Babe in so many words that she has the hots for Jonathan and has never had feelings like this before with anyone. Babe tells her that a great relationship can be the best thing and could also be the worst? Amanda asks her what does she do when she wants to be with someone so badly and can't stop thinking about them?

Babe talks more about being friends with Josh and yet it causes others so much angst. Later on, she sits with Josh and has another drink. He goes over some plans for Fusion and asks if she wants to go upstairs to do more brainstorming. Babe declines, telling him she has to get home and they'll talk tomorrow.

Leaving the club, Jeff asks to talk with her. She asks if he saw the coffin and he replies that he did and it's a little morbid. He wonders if Josh would kill himself. Babe assures him that Josh is fine and he needed to get out some emotional stuff and doesn't think he'd do anything stupid. She apologizes and says she's not his babysitter and she has a family to take care of.

Tad Accuses Zach of Hurting JR

Jeff talks with his dad Joe about getting Josh back as a doctor. Joe warns Jeff that Babe is capable of taking Josh down and crushing him further and to try and get him away from her. But Jeff tells Joe that Josh is in love with Babe and he believes that their friendship might help Jeff to get closer to his son. They later assist in helping JR.

Krystal Tells Babe to Fire Josh

Babe and Josh converse back and forth almost ...flirting... as Krystal listens on. Krystal interrupts them telling Josh that Babe really is an amazing woman. She tells Josh to ...stop looking for love in all the wrong places... and leave her daughter alone! Babe tells her mom to calm down, Josh wasn't doing anything wrong.

Krystal continues on telling Josh that he may have been raised a spoiled rich brat that he's used to getting everything and anything he wants, but Babe came from nothing and she truly knows what the value of hard work is all about.

Josh tries to ...sweet talk... Krystal and make her feel sorry for him. With Madden's admittance that he wasn't even his father and Erica wanting to abort him as a fetus. But, he continues, Babe has stood by him and remained friends, accepting him the way he is. Krystal reminds him he almost killed Babe. He replies that it was a mistake and he apologizes to Krystal. Josh gushes on how smart and kind and sweet Babe is and he can see where she gets it from and walks away.

Krystal doesn't buy a word of it, telling Babe he's quite the charmer! Babe agrees but looks at her mother asking her ...what else is it...? Krystal tells her to fire him today, now!

Babe tells her that she likes Josh, he's a friend but Josh just has a little crush. Krystal tells her she's blind, it's far more than a crush. Babe reassures her that she loves her husband and Josh knows that. She won't cut him off, his whole world has just came crashing down. Krystal tells her that she's playing with fire and Josh has to leave or her marriage will be over after Josh is through with her. Babe tells her she goes through this with JR and she doesn't want to go at it with Krystal. She tells Babe that she knows from experience how men like Josh can get. Krystal asks Babe to put herself in JR's position. What if JR became friends with a ...busty little hottie...? Babe tells her she'd trust him but Krystal tells her these situations never work out and eventually her marriage will be the casualty! Babe asks her to leave, she has work to do and thanks her for not trusting her enough to have a brain of her own.

Josh comes to comfort Babe. Babe confides that her and her mother never fight and for Krystal to confront her and not trust her, it hurts.

When Krystal approaches the elevator, the door opens and Erica grabs her and throws her into the elevator! Krystal yells at Erica telling her she's had a bad enough day. They spare off at each other about their kids. Krystal tells her she doesn't even know why Erica suddenly wants Josh around since she's always considered him one huge MISTAKE in her life! Erica snaps back telling her that she just made one HUGE mistake! Krystal tells her he's a disaster waiting to happen and Babe will suffer the consequences.

Babe and Josh leave and head towards the elevator. But it opens and they see both women fighting so Josh tells Babe to use the stairs and they walk away.

Erica tells Jeff that he shouldn't take advice from Babe. But Jeff insists that Josh is in love with Babe. Erica tells him that Babe is a ...walking plague.... Babe and her mother KIDNAPPED Bianca's baby! Jeff tells her point taken and can appreciate the ugly history Erica has had with Babe but Josh is very close to Babe and she holds the key to getting into Josh's heart.

Erica balks at the thought, telling him that he's been taken for a ride. Babe Chandler cannot be trusted and Erica is going to have to protect her son from the likes of her.

Jeff Goes to Babe For Advice

Jeff talks with Josh, telling him him and Erica knows they've disappointed him. He begs him to come back to the hospital, to medical practice. Josh refuses telling him that's what Jeff wants, not him. Jeff continues, reminding him how talented he is, but Josh puts up a wall and gets cocky with Jeff and walks away.

Babe, listening in tells Jeff ...nice job... if he wants to push him away. Get him talking about his life, take him out for a beer, says Babe. Don't try and mold him or tell him what to do with his life. Jeff continues to ask for Babe's opinion and advice. He tells her he doesn't know how to be a father. She tells him not to come off having an ...MD... after your name. Babe tells Jeff how to work to get Josh to come around. That he is very hurt and confused so to reach him would be impossible right now. It'll take time she says. She tells him Josh knew what Madden wanted in a son and he strived for that to please his dad. Jeff tells her that him and Erica don't have any expectations and just want him as he is.

Jeff asks her if she thought Josh was ever happy around Madden. She tells him she doesn't think so and Josh doesn't trust anyone right now. Jeff tells her that Josh trusts her. Babe tells him that she's not going to be his way into Josh's heart, she's Josh's friend NOT Jeff's. She continues to tell him that it's up to him to figure this out, to reach out to Josh in a way that will be sincere. Jeff thanks her and leaves.

At that moment, Josh walks in asking her what that was all about. Babe reassures him that Jeff was sincere in wanting to know how to reach out to him. But Josh is skeptical.

Erica asks Ryan if he loves Kendall. She tries to convince him to help Kendall. Ryan tells her Erica knows how he feels about Kendall but there's a chance she'll forgive Zach. But Erica tells him to step in because Zach will continue hurting her over and over. Erica suggests he take his son and Kendall to Paris and go visit Bianca. He tells her the baby is far too young for a trip like that. Ryan insists that he would want Kendall to come to him for her reasons, not because he's trying to romance her. Erica persists, but Ryan tells her Kendall is not ready for anything at all. He will just be there for her as a friend.

Ryan continues that he's leaving it all to fate. He's not going to ...convince... Kendall of anything any longer. It's up to her. Erica gets suspicious, asking if he's interested in Annie to try and get over Kendall. He tells her he's just ...helping... Annie, that's it. He tells her to go and knock on Josh's door to help him and leave him and Kendall alone.

Erica, taking a walk in the park meets up with Jeff and she asks if he talked with Josh. HE tells her how it went and that he asked for Babe's advice. Erica can't believe what she just heard.

Erica, Jeff & Josh Have a Heart to Heart.

Erica defends Josh against Krystals attacks of kidnapping Babe. She then tries to comfort Josh and Jeff interrupts, asking him not to leave. They beg him to go somewhere to talk, to listen to what they have to say, they want a second chance. Josh remains cocky.
Erica defends josh against Krystal. Erica tries to reach Josh, he responds cocky. Babe calls out to Josh not to leave, as JR looks on. Babe goes to convince him to stay and listen to what Erica & Jeff have to say as JR stands in the background glaring at Josh.

Erica, Jeff and Josh go to the boat. They offer him a blanket and to shower and clean up. He refuses any ...parenting... or concern from them. He tells them he's sick of their games and to go back to their busy all important careers. Jeff tells him that maybe he doesn't need them but THEY need him. Josh asks Erica why she'd want to play mom to the kid she ditched. To the kid she tried to terminate? Erica tells Josh the truth...¦ about her terminating the pregnancy. She deliberately kept that baby a secret from Jeff. I was afraid you'd hate me says Erica. But you have no reason to hate Jeff. Josh asks her how she could still want him AND be ok with trying to terminate him as a fetus. But Erica tries to tell him everything. She tells Josh that when she heard his plane went down, she was devastated, that she couldn't bear the thought of him being dead. She pleads with him that she wants to be a part of his life. Josh, feeling overwhelmed, tells them it's too much information for him to deal with right now and walks out.
