Erica explains to Jeff about the malaria attack and his delirium, and how they ended up in bed. She orders breakfast, and while glancing at the newspaper headlines, sees the news about Erin.
Jeff refuses to see a doctor, and sweeps Erica literally off her feet—because it's their "honeymoon." He's delirious on the sofa, and Erica tells him he needs more nursing than she can provide. Oh, and they're not married!
Jeff's fever breaks, and he returns to 2006. Erica convinces him to go to bed—and joins him.
Jeff asks Erica is she's sure that Jack isn't simply upset and over-reacting, rather than actually wanting a divorce. Does he know that Jeff living across the hall is merely a coincidence? After all, she's never let a man tell her what to do!
Erica doesn't take this advice well and accuses him of egotism. Jeff reminds her that he's been quite vocal about his attraction to Erica, who claims the kisses they shared were "innocent."
Suddenly, Jeff begins to feel unwell and says he has to go back to him room. As he's leaving, he stumbles. Erica finds his medicine bottle and demands he tell her what's wrong. It's a malaria reoccurrence. She's concerned, but Jeff insists he doesn't want his family to be upset.
Erica agrees, but insists he stay in her room, where she can take care of him. He begins to get delirious, and speaks as if it's years ago, when they were married.
Erica asks Sean why he's not in school, and he replies he's doing what she wanted: leaving town. He believes that Jack will lose Erica because of him—so he has to leave. She assures him that it is not his fault, and at that moment, Jeff enters with lunch, and Sean invites himself, and tucks into lunch. Erica finally gets him to leave.
Erica announces to Jeff that she and Jack are divorcing.
Erica challenges Jack as everyone in the dining room looks on—and says that it appears that divorce is what he wants, and flounces out of the room. Bianca and Kendall are unsure about what to do, but Josh goes up to see Erica in her room. He says he just wanted to see if she was ok. She ends up telling him that she wishes she could do something to ease his pain, but he insists he's "fine."
Jeff tells Jack he's "an idiot" and that Erica planned to return home. If their marriage ends, it'll be Jack's fault. He tells Jack that "the battle for Erica is just beginning. I just want to make sure it's a fair one."
Jeff goes up to see Erica, who insists that her marriage is over. She claims that Jack doesn't understand her—and expects her to act like a conventional housewife. Jack is 100% responsible for the end of their marriage!
"Erica, you don't really want a divorce, do you?" asks Jeff. Why else would she be so worked up? He admits that he wants her…but that the rest is up to her.
Myrtle asks Zach if it's possible if Erica is headed for Divorce #10—and the maitre d' tells him that this is the last Kane Thanksgiving at the Valley Inn!
Kendall, Bianca, and Josh are discussing their mother—and Kendall and Bianca agree that Jack and Erica are soulmates. Also, they insist that Josh's defense of Erica at dinner demonstrates that he's now "one of them."
Brooke thanks Jack for being a good friend, and tells him that the only way he can lose Erica to Jeff is if he wants to.
At the Kane Thanksgiving, Erica asks Jack if it's ok she invited Jeff and Josh, since his invitation of Brooke means "anybody" can come.
There's a disagreement at dinner about who should say grace—when Erica suggests Jeff do it rather than the host, Jack. Myrtle interrupts and says the grace. Erica continues to spread harmony by asking for Jeff to carve the turkey.
Annie tells Kendall that the DNA results prove she is Emma's mother, and that she owes it all to Ryan and Jeff. Later, Kendall suggests to Ryan that he not let Annie and Emma remain in the penthouse. Ryan wants to know why she cares about it.
She tells him it's Spike—and Ryan says that Spike is his life, and no one can take his place.
Jeff tells Erica that it's clear she invited him to get back at Jack, and the more she does that, the closer he gets to her. When Erica asks who Annie "is", she gets back as good as she gives, when Annie asks her "how many of your husbands are invited?"
The conversation gets nastier when Jack questions Josh about his "attempts to destroy Babe's marriage" and Jeff makes comments about Erica's unhappy marriage.
Sean leaves in a huff, and Erica stomps off to the powder room, followed by Bianca, who confronts her with a question: Why is she so unwilling to come home? Erica agrees to stay for dinner. As she walks into the dining room, she hears Lily say "you're right Dad…you and Erica don't belong together."
"Maybe you're right, Jack," says Erica. "Maybe we should get divorced!"
Jeff reviews the DNA results with Ryan and Annie. No match. But there are still four more test results coming in soon. Annie is very upset and wonders if this means permanent foster care for Emma.
The last four test results arrive: No match. No match. No match. But the fourth test is a match! The social worker brings Emma in and they are reunited for Thanksgiving.
David swears to a disbelieving Kendall that Ryan is Emma's father, and he has the DNA tests to prove it. He claims that Spike will always be second in Ryan priorities after Emma, and is leaving when Zach walks up, and says"Stay away from my wife."David tells them not to worry; he's leaving.
David records another farewell video. He tells Tad not to try and find him.
Back at the Valley Inn, Ryan arrives with Annie and Emma, followed by Erica walking arm-in-arm with Jeff and Josh. A few moments later, Kendall, Zach and Spike arrive to see Ryan jubilantly holding Emma in his arms.
Jeff tells Josh that his emergency surgery on JR—and how proud he is of his son. Josh tells him that he's no hero; Jeff reminds him that he never has to be defensive with him. Josh agrees to have Thanksgiving dinner with the Martins. He assures Jeff that he will never give up on Babe—even if it takes 10 years.
As Erica and Jeff are locked in a kiss, a knock on the door. It's Jack—who begins speaking—then notices Jeff. He turns on his heels, and then tells her he won't be bothering her any more. It seems that she's right where she wants to be. Erica acts like the injured party, demanding Jack apologize to her! Will she come home now, he asks? When she declines, Jack leaves.
Erica returns to her room, looks at a photograph of she and Jack, and tells Jeff "I have to go home." She explains that leaving home was necessary in order for her to find herself—but that she knows she still loves Jack and wants to save their marriage. Jeff understands, and just wants her to be happy.
