You Killed My Wife!

At the funeral home, JR and Colby hug. Krystal walks to the casket and places her hand on it, trying to feel Babe again. Adam arrives and hugs JR, then gives little A the stuffed cows. He places a hand on Krystal's shoulder; Colby is stunned at his compassion. Jesse and Angie arrive and pay their condolences. Stuart and Bianca arrive, followed by Jack. Stuart is first to talk; he calls Babe a ray of sunshine and then gives Krystal a painting of Babe! Krystal is next to speak; she says she never knew love until she held Babe. "I was put on this earth to be her momma," she cries. Tad goes to her side. Amanda and Bianca break down; Randi arrives. JR tells the gathering that he always knew he was meant to be Babe's husband. "I'm still trying to be a better man," he says, "and I hope she was as happy as she made me." JR goes to little A, takes him to the casket and there he tells the boy how wonderful Babe was. He says she'll have his heart forever and places a kiss on the casket. Amanda hugs JR and then leaves. Tad hugs him, too, and then JR tells little A goodbye so he can go home with Tad and Krystal. "Sweet dreams," Krystal whispers, placing a kiss on the coffin. She hugs JR and they leave. JR opens the casket and looks at Babe. He says his vows again and places her wedding ring on her finger. "I love you from the deepest place in my soul. And I will never stop," he says emotionally. David arrives and tells JR he deserves to be able to pay his respects since he left them to grieve in peace. He takes a bottle from his pocket, drinks and then hands it to JR! JR breaks the bottle and then grabs David and says he won't break him!

Will You Save My Daughter?

At the mansion, David says he is spending time with little A – and then demands custody of the boy! Adam orders him off the property. Krystal arrives to see little A and Adam gets even more upset. JR tells her about David's custody demands. Adam says he'll file a restraining order but Krystal says that isn't enough, especially since David hasn't been convicted of many of his crimes. She points out that JR's record is worse than David's. JR suggests upgrading the locks and Adam says he'll put cameras in the tunnels. Krystal tells them to listen. She says they must put their differences aside for little A's sake; she reminds them that last time David divided them and played them against one another. She says this time they have to work together to present a united front that David can't penetrate. She says they have to do this for Babe! Krystal brings some pamphlets for the flowers for the funeral but JR can't look at them and leaves. Adam offers Krystal and drink and a shoulder, calling Babe 'one of a kind' and 'a wonderful mother'. Krystal asks why he's had a change of heart about Babe; Adam says he is just being supportive. "You're a lousy liar," Krystal says and walks out. Adam is gazing at a picture of little A when JR returns and says they are leaving. Adam invites him to stay at the mansion but JR wants to live at Tad's for now. He warns Adam that once the mess with David is straightened out he is still leaving Pine Valley!

At the funeral home, David reaches out to Babe's casket and tells her what a good job she did with little A. He says he'll take little A away from Pine Valley and give him a life she could be proud of. He wishes he had more memories of her childhood and blames Krystal for taking Babe from him. He apologizes for being a missing-in-action father. "I wanted to save you but I was too late. Little A is my chance to make it up to you," he says. Erica walks in and begs him to save Kendall! He asks why he should save Kendall when no one was around to save Babe! Erica pleads with him, reminding him of Leora. David still says no. She says she'll do anything and asks what he wants!

At the hospital, Zach learns that Kendall needs another operation but that her body is probably not strong enough. He sits with her, wondering what to do. Bianca comes in and he says he doesn't know what to do. Binks wishes she could do more; Zach says just being there is enough. He isn't sure his being there is helping, though, because of their recent fights. "I could have handled things better," he says. Bianca says Kendall knows how much Zach loves her. Bianca sits with Kendall and remembers her last conversation with her sister. Kendall told her about Zach's request for more kids and her fears that her marriage was in trouble. Binks whispers in Kendall's ear that they are going to make it. Joe takes Bianca and Zach into a waiting room. David walks in and says he'll do the surgery. Erica says she asked David to come but Joe objects to him working in the hospital. David asks what Zach wants. Zach leads Erica and Bianca into the hall. Both women say David is the best surgeon he could hope for. They return and give David the green light. Zach can't believe what he just said. Bianca goes to David and pays her respects. David walks out and Zach stops him. He warns David to be careful; David brings up Maria and Dixie and says Zach shouldn't be distracting him like this. He says Zach owes him and walks away. Bianca catches up with Zach and lets him hold the baby. She reassures him about Kendall. Bianca brings up baby names and Zach suggests Gabrielle; Bianca likes the name. "She's God's special messenger," Bianca says.

At the hospital, Krystal sees Joe and then runs into David. She tells him to stay away from little A; he tells her she better watch out. He says he owes it to Babe to care for little A and then calls Tad a loser! Krystal slaps him but David grabs her hand and asks how Tad fulfills her needs. He says he has a life to save and leaves. Krystal catches up with Erica and tells her that having David operate on Kendall is a bad idea. She asks what Erica promised David to get him to agree to the surgery. Erica walks off.

In surgery, David stands over Kendall. "I've got your life in my hands," he says.

Angie Meets Rebecca!

Krystal goes to the jail to try to get David out. He says she doesn't want him out of jail because he'll kill JR and Adam! Krystal tries to make him see that Babe was happy with JR but David can't stop blaming the Chandler men for her death. "There was a tiny, decent sliver in my life and it was because of Babe," David explains, "and when she died she took the light with her." Krystal says there is nothing in Pine Valley for him and he should leave. He agrees to go and never return. But, he says if he runs into Adam or JR in the meantime, all bets are off!

Colby sees Petey outside the mansion; he tells her that Adam confessed to Erica and is now sending Petey away. Colby says Adam can't do that and goes inside. Petey follows. Colby says Adam is going to use his 'disappearance' to blame everything on him; she refuses to allow that and storms into the parlor. She tells Adam that he won't get away with sending Petey away! She goes off on Adam about JR; JR walks in and tells Colby to back off. He lets little A talk to Adam for a minute and then Colby and Petey take the boy outside. Adam expects JR to pummel him, too, and is surprised when JR remains calm. "I'm just here to tell you I'm done. I don't want to fight," JR says. Colby returns and listens to JR tell Adam he forgives him; Adam says he's done nothing that needs forgiveness. JR just keeps talking. Adam is on the verge of tears when JR says forgiveness is the only way he can stay off the bottle. He goes to the kitchen; Adam tears up Petey's check and says he has some changing to do! Colby hugs him. JR returns and the two of them go to the terrace – where they see David with little A!

Vigil With Kendall.

David talks to Babe’s dead body in the basement. He swears that he won’t let the Chandlers get away with this. He tells her that he loves her so much and wanted her to be happy. Krystal walks in and says that Babe and J.R. were really truly happy. David says he wants his daughter back and tells Krystal to leave them alone. She tells David that he has to let Babe go. David says Krystal is as guilty as the Chandlers are. David says Babe deserved better and Krystal made Babe hate him. They argue and shout at each other about what each of them did wrong in Babe's life. David leans over Babe and tells her how beautiful she is. He says he won’t allow anyone to touch her but him. David says he will take her back, but Krystal says, no, we will both take her.

When David and Krystal bring Babe out of the basement, they see J.R., Tad, Bianca and Adam. They stand behind David and Krystal while David places Babe gently on a bed and covers her body with a sheet. He kisses her sweetly and cries. Krystal walks over and covers Babe’s face with the sheet and cries. David sobs, “No!” David accuses J.R. of killing babe. He says she is dead because of him. Adam says, “Back off!” David lunges at J.R. Adam and Tad try to break it up. They are held apart and shout at each other. David says, “Babe’s blood is on your hands. All of you will pay!”
