Secrets and lies

As David's video is about to reveal the truth about Krystal's pregnancy, Babe throws something at the screen, shatters it, and goes on a tear about how much she hates David and the pain he's caused all of them. She gets hysterical and claims that everyone "hates her" because she's David's daughter—and evil like him. She rushes from the room.

Adam asks Krystal is Babe is crazy, smashing the TV like that? Krystal defends her daughter, and attributes Babe's outburst to all the pressure of the last few months. Adam doesn't care, and says his promise to let Babe stay is reneged. He wants her out!

After he leaves, Dixie confronts Krystal, who admits that David was on the verge of announcing that her baby's father is Tad. But it's not true—her baby is a Chandler! And if Dixie continues to spread stories, she'll tell Adam that Dixie living there is a bad idea. Swear that your baby is Adam's, says Dixie. While Krystal is in the middle of doing so, Adam comes in, and wonders if this is something he should know about. Dixie quickly says it's because they haven't gotten along in the past, and they rush off to Dixie's room. Adam remains, looking skeptical.


Tad comforts Babe and tells her to let the pain leave with David, and to not let David get to them ever again. Later, when they are alone, he warns her that Adam might still be planning to separate her from Little A.

Babe thanks him and says she's committed to healing her marriage.

Thanksgiving "celebrations" continues

At the Chandler manse, Colby begins to argue with Sydney, and Krystal intercedes and tries to establish peace for Thanksgiving.

David finds Babe in front of her house and tells her he's "come to say goodbye." He tells her when Krystal leaves Adam, she will follow. And when she thinks back on him, her father loved her very much.

When she gets inside, Babe asks Krystal what David meant, and if he knows about the paternity of Krystal's baby.

Tad and Dixie arrive, and Krystal is more than shocked by the new guests—and the news that Dixie will be living with them.

Colby finds an envelope at the front door and shows it to Adam. It's marked "Urgent!" It's David's farewell video. Krystal leaves the room, unwilling to "let David ruin Thanksgiving"—but Tad insists on listening.

In the video David repeats his assertion about Krystal eventually leaving Adam, and then asks if Dixie is there, and says she has the "ammunition to get the ball rolling."

Colby gets a text message from Sean, who's left the Kane Thanksgiving dinner, and meets him outside the house. They talk about love and family.

David visits Leora's grave and tells her that justice has finally been done, and that he will always love her very much.

A Pine Valley Thanksgiving

David swears to a disbelieving Kendall that Ryan is Emma's father, and he has the DNA tests to prove it. He claims that Spike will always be second in Ryan priorities after Emma, and is leaving when Zach walks up, and says"Stay away from my wife."David tells them not to worry; he's leaving.

David records another farewell video. He tells Tad not to try and find him.

Back at the Valley Inn, Ryan arrives with Annie and Emma, followed by Erica walking arm-in-arm with Jeff and Josh. A few moments later, Kendall, Zach and Spike arrive to see Ryan jubilantly holding Emma in his arms.

:::Thanksgiving in Pine Valley:::

Kendall is home alone with Spike when the baby swallows a button! She rushes out to the porch and gets Ryan and Annie to help her. She gets the doctor on the phone, who advises her to keep close watch on Spike for the next 24 hours—and that probably nothing is wrong. It turns out that he didn't swallow anything—the button is under a table. They discover that just as the EMTs arrive.

Kendall asks Annie to leave so that she can speak privately to Ryan. She wants him to attend Thanksgiving dinner with her, Spike and her family—and he immediately agrees.

Annie rushes back in as they're talking and announces that the DNA results are in and that they have to go to the hospital—now! Jeff has the test results—no match.

After they leave, there's a knock at the door and it's David—full of bile. He tries to make Kendall angry by claiming that Ryan is choosing Annie over her and Spike. Then, he spills the news that Ryan is Emma's biological father.

Can these marriages be saved?

David at JR's bedside, taunting him, asserting that Babe has chosen Josh. He adds that if JR recovers, he will never go near Babe again. JR says he never wants to see Babe again! David calls JR a "worthless punk", pulls out his oxygen and threatens to smother him. Remember how scared you are right now, says David. If JR ever hurts Babe again, he's a dead man! He begins punching JR, and Colby rushes into the room, pulling him off JR.

A nurse comes in, and thinks Colby is the source of the problem. David escapes. Colby tries to apologize for cooperating with David. He blames himself, and acknowledges that Colby was telling him the truth.

Thanksgiving Day Preparations

David tells Dixie that Tad is the father of Krystal's baby. He insists to her that it is a kick in the gut that Tad has a baby….and she doesn't! Tad walks up at the end of the conversation. Tad grabs David, punches him and throws him to the ground. As Tad chokes David, Dixie pries him off of him. Tad steps away and tells her that it doesn't matter if they lock him up. Dixie tells him that there has been too much violence and that she can't let him cause himself anymore pain. A bloody David gets up and leaves.

David goes to see JR in the hospital and tells him not to worry about the pain…..and that he will be happy to take care of him! Krystal answers the door at finds Dixie there. Adam hears her tell Krystal that she needs to talk to her…..about her baby! Tad goes to see JR, but is informed that he will have to wait because the doctor is with him. David takes his monitor controls and attaches them to himself so that the nurse's will have no need to rush in. He tells JR that now all of his vitals are normal and that is just the two of them!

:::David is back:::

Adam and Dixie are at the bedside of JR, and he's trying to say something. It's…"Babe. I want Babe."

Adam tells JR that "he's on it" and later admits to Dixie that he wants Babe out of Pine Valley. Dixie urges him not to separate Little A from his mother.

Dixie returns to JR's bedside, and he tells her he's sorry about "no Kate" and that he "came back" because Tad told him his mother needed him.

Tad comes to the hospital to let Dixie know that David's left town. She confirms that he told JR to come back for her—and thanks him. He assures her that he's not giving up on finding Kate. She thanks him for everything.

Back at JR's bedside, Tad comforts JR, who is anguished over what he's done. Is Tad ok about Kate? He's not, says Tad, but he's going to find her.

Dixie is walking through the hospital parking lot when David comes out of the shadows. He tells her he was "disgusted" by her interactions with Tad. She tells him he's sick and evil. Maybe so, but she can still help Tad get his little girl. From Krystal, who's carrying Tad's baby.

:::More problems for Annie:::

David's at Dixie's, looking over the "Kate" gifts. It's becoming clear that he set up Dixie and Tad. He says that Dixie was his "one chance", and he accuses her of using him and leading him on. Does she feel the same pain he's felt? Dixie calls him sick and twisted. "I'm already dead—thanks to you!" says David. Then he takes a phone call from the hospital, and taunts her with the news that JR has taken a turn for the worse.

::::JR is out of surgery::::

Julia is shocked to hear that Jamie wants her back—David eavesdrops. But what about their age differences and priorities, asks Julia?

Later, David mentions that to her, and she tells him she doesn't want his advice.

Jamie asks for her answer. She's sorry, but it's not going to happen.
