No Negotiations!

Kendall explains that she can deal with one extra mom but not two. Ryan tries to make her understand that Greenlee is the reason that Spike exists in the first place. Kendall can't see that, though, because she is too angry with Greenlee and too much in love with her son. "We owe her," Ryan exclaims, trying to make Kendall understand. Kendall doesn't like what he is saying but she does begin to see his point. Still, she thinks Greenlee's real motivation isn't for Spike it is for Ryan! Kendall and Ryan storm out of the lounge, with Kendall swearing that Greenlee will never be part of their family! The Fusion girls listen as they continue to argue.

Who Kidnapped JR?

At Wildwind, Julia tells Jamie there isn't a baby. He realizes that she is disappointed with the news but before they can talk things through, Kathy comes in. Julia sends her off to get ready to leave for the park. As soon as Kathy leaves, Babe arrives. Julia shows Babe around and then leaves with Kathy. Alone, Jamie pulls out her school books but Babe has picked up on the vibes between the couple and wonders what is wrong between them. She tries to get him to talk, but Jamie isn't interested and turns back to the books. She invites him to stop by to see little A. Finally, Jamie breaks down and tells her about Julia's false alarm and his own relief at the news. Babe leaves. Julia returns and Jamie asks her to talk about the "scare". Julia turns away, realizing just how different they both feel about children.

In the elevator to Fusion, Annie advises Kendall to play things cool and not let Greenlee know that the custody papers are bothering her. When they arrive, both are quiet and get right to work. When they don't say anything to her, Greens pushes the point and begins badgering them about their feelings. She tells them it is obvious that something is bothering them. Still, neither Kendall nor Annie will talk about Spike or the custody problems. Finally Kendall breaks and explodes in anger at Greenlee's custody suit. She swears that Greenlee won't take her child and that if she doesn't drop the suit it will be the end of everything for Greenlee in Pine Valley! Greenlee is happy to see how badly Kendall is taking the court papers. She tells both women that she has a right to "her child"! Greenlee keeps pestering them, certain that she will win Spike. Annie interrupts Kendall and Greenlee as they fight, but Kendall won't stop. Fed up with Greenlee, Kendall turns from Greenlee and begins going over sales numbers with Annie and Di. The women wonder if their buyers will come back if they can manage to get the music back. Greenlee listens but doesn't help them, especially when they bring up Babe. She tells them they can make a comeback without Babe and without Babe's contacts. When they suggest that Greenlee get Babe to come back she initially freaks out and refuses. Eventually Greenlee agrees to call Babe, who agrees to come over and talk. When she arrives, Greenlee offers her a job with a small raise. Babe demands more. She gets what she wants and all the girls, except Greenlee, are happy to have her back at work!

An angry Ryan arrives later and pulls Kendall and Greenlee away to talk things over.

Zach Admits He Was Wrong!

At the coffee house, Babe meets with Troy, a tutor, who comes on to her. He asks her to the prom in exchange for tutoring lessons! Jamie is listening from another table. When Babe turns him down, he asks over and over and even shows her his dance moves. Jamie finally interrupts, telling Troy that things just can't work out between him and Babe. Troy is heartbroken but leaves. Jamie starts laughing. Babe tells him what was really going on at the table. He encourages her about getting the GED and reminds her that she is very smart and doesn't need a diploma unless she wants one. Then, he offers to be her tutor! Babe isn't sure what to think at first, wondering what people would think if they found out. Jamie tells her not to worry and eventually Babe agrees to be his study-buddy!

Greenlee Threatens Zach!

At the Carey condo, Babe and Krystal enjoy the nice evening after the rain storm. Krystal is feeling good, sure that they will be able to rebuild quickly and excited about possibly franchising their bar. Babe gets excited, listening to her mother. They talk about Adam and JR for a moment, both agreeing that they fought for their loves, not for the money that came with the Chandler name. Babe begins to think about her own dreams and decides it is time to get her high school diploma. Krystal tells her to go for it but Babe is actually worried about going back to school and finding a day job that will pay the bills until she has that degree. She also worries what little A will think when he learns that she didn't finish high school. Colby arrives, upset. "He doesn't want me," she says, telling them about Sean's involvement with Ava. Babe tries to console her, and Colby turns things around. She asks both Carey women how, when they know how bad if feels, they could treat JR and even Adam the way that Sean treated her. Neither woman takes offense, telling Colby that they made mistakes. Jenny wakes and Krystal brings her to Colby. Babe tells her that someday she will find a boy who can love her the way she deserves. Colby, though, isn't sure that real love exists. Krystal asks if she wants to spend the night but Colby turns them down.

Later, JR arrives at the Carey's, adamant that Babe do everything she can to keep Adam away from little A. He doesn't tell her his plans for a name change, but tells her to warn Wini and the workers at the Miranda center to be aware that Adam could show up at any time. He tells Babe it's important that they keep Adam separated from little A. Then, JR asks to see his son. He puts the little boy to bed and sits with him for a long time.

...And The Roof Caves In!

Adam enters The Comeback, annoyed at Derek and Krystal's kiss. Tad tells him to leave, but Adam won't go. He continues to cut down everyone is the bar. Del notices a few leaks from the roof. Babe, Derek and Opal all tell Adam to leave; Krystal steps in, telling them to leave Adam alone! "If he wants to stay, he can stay," she says, astounding everyone. She reminds them that everyone is welcome in her bar and offers Adam a free drink. Tad offers a triple-anything, hoping it will effect Adam badly! Adam turns down the drink but heads to a table, alone. Krystal sits with Adam, telling him that she is just fine on her own. A deliveryman arrives with a new karaoke machine! At the bar, Julia begins to cry, worrying Jamie, Opal and Amanda. Derek helps Krystal unpack the box, apologizing for kissing her. Krystal shrugs it off. Derek tells Krystal that he has always admired her and asks her to dinner! She says she'll let him know when she's ready to date. Tad reminds Adam that he used to own the bar and failed at it! JR comes over and together he and Tad push Adam's buttons by reminding him that he was going to be a different person for Stuart's sake. JR tells Adam that he is finished. "You can't ruin this for Krystal no matter how bad you want to," he promises. Krystal gets the karaoke machine going. She compares the jewelry from Adam to a ball and chain and his home to a mausoleum and their love to a lie and excitedly talks about her new plans and friends. Babe gets the machine going and Krystal decides to sing. Before she can start, the roof begins to fall in! Tad and Derek check out the leak, which is huge. Krystal can't believe that her new project seems to be doomed. Adam rubs in the bad news, telling her she'll be broke soon. He leaves. Krystal worries that she made a huge mistake by not having the building inspected before she bought the place. Babe reminds her that they have friends and they can rebuild. "I just want it to happen now," Krystal says. Across the room, Opal talks to Julia, asking how she is. Julia gets queasy and hurries away. When she returns, Opal asks Julia if she might be pregnant! The question makes Julia wonder. Across the room, Tad encourages Krystal not to give up. She promises to keep fighting, just to show Adam that she is okay on her own.

At the door, Amanda confronts Adam, telling him that Janet remembers everything about her and Adam's part in the kidnapping of Jenny. She tells Adam that Janet doesn't hate him, she is afraid for him, because of his anger. JR comes to her, promising that Adam will suffer for the things he has done! JR calls Babe over, worrying Amanda, who thinks he is going to tell Babe that they slept together. JR surprises her by only telling Babe that he is headed out of town for a few days. Amanda makes a quick exit. JR asks Babe to tell Krystal good luck and tell little A that he loves him every night and then leaves.

Greenlee: Party Crasher!

At The Comeback, Tad, Opal, Del and Jamie help Krystal and Babe christen the new bar. JR hands Del a mop and tells him to get to work. Derek arrives to check things out. Babe promises not to open until all of the paperwork is complete; Derek tells them not to worry, he is only there to help out! The crew gets to work. Palmer arrives, excited to see the new place. She congratulates Krystal on her new business and on dumping Adam. They pour drinks for everyone and start the party. Amanda arrives to join the party. She pulls Babe across the room but before she can tell her about JR, he arrives and interrupts them! Tad continues to tell Babe and Krystal that they need to have the place checked out. Krystal heads behind the bar, telling stories of her past while Del fixes the beer taps. When Opal suggests they all try some Del-Lightning, Palmer suggests they leave before she gets really frisky! Jamie realizes Tad has gotten quiet and asks what's on his mind. He begins talking about Kate, who would be turning 5 soon, and wonders where to go next. Julia arrives and tells them about Spike's party and Tad heads to the bar to get her a drink. Jamie asks if she is okay and Julia wonders why everyone keeps asking her that! She mentions getting ready for Kathy's 5th birthday party. At the bar, Derek tells Krystal he has always like her and is obviously a little bit tipsy. They begin to flirt a little bit and talk about their failed marriages. Derek leans across the bar and kisses Krystal! Adam arrives and quietly comes inside, not believing his eyes! Babe finally gets back to Amanda, who decides to keep her night with JR quiet!

Lust Is In The Air!

Krystal takes Babe and Tad to the Roadhouse and begins to tell them about her plans for the place. Babe can't believe it and decides to invest in Krystal's bar. Tad checks out the place for renovations. "Plumbing, electrical, heat and A/C," Tad suggests for starters. Babe and Krystal ignore his suggestions and begin planning opening night. Tad continues telling them to check out restrictions for the club but they keep ignoring him. Krystal decides to call it "The Comeback". Tad encourages their dream, but is still worried about the business end of things - vendors, payroll, articles of incorporation and renovations. "If you are not prepared, your cash cow could turn into a money pit!" he says. Krystal wonders what his real concerns are, and Tad asks her to simply be prepared. Undeterred, Krystal tells Tad that she and Babe know what they are doing with a bar. Stuart arrives, asking what Krystal wants from him. "I was hoping you would paint a mural for the place," she says. Tad suggests good looking women in bikinis, but Krystal has another idea. She wants to paint some of the patrons, adding new pictures each week. Stuart loves the idea! Krystal hands Babe a key to the bar as a piece of ceiling falls on Tad's head. She tells him not to worry, but he does anyway.
