A Whole Lotta Changes!

Greenlee makes an executive decision - against the wishes of everyone else - to change the Fusion Green script. Everyone objects but she just carries on. Kendall gets a call from Zach to see how she is. He lets her know he's going to be late. The girls begin worrying about Ava, who is still missing in action. Rachel arrives with Spike, dropping him because of a family emergency. Kendall sends her off to the hospital to be with her family, telling her not to worry about Spike. Di and Annie try to reach Ava but can't get through. Kendall asks the girls to go ahead to New York. Greenlee suggests that Annie stay behind to be a babysitter for Spike but Kendall shoots that idea down. She wants Spike to go with them! Greenlee strongly objects, not wanting to spend several hours in a car with the baby. Babe tells Greenlee not to worry, that she won't have to deal with the baby. She steps back, saying Spike isn't her worry - her worry is the pitch as a whole. She brings up carseats and extra space. Babe suggests taking one more car and Greenlee drops the subject. Di and Annie head out but Babe stays behind to run interference with Kendall and Greenlee. Babe leaves to get some things ready for the car ride.

What Will Krystal Do?

At Kendall's, Di calls Ava who is still missing in action. The girls are beginning to wonder is Ava is too flaky for the campaign but Di covers, saying she probably just fell asleep and didn't wake up. They all pack up; Di and Amanda leave together to check on the things at Wildwind. Babe and Greenlee are talking over the phone with a client who wants advance payment. Kendall takes the phone to talk with the client, trying to smooth things over. Rachel brings Spike out and Greenlee is again taken in by the sight of the child. Kendall goes on with the client and when Greens tries to take over shoos her away. Rachel asks Greenlee to feed Spike and she runs out. Annie takes over with the baby as Greenlee watches from the doorway. Annie plays with Spike for a bit, keeping him occupied. Greenlee becomes even more entranced with the child. Babe leaves to get ready for the launch. Greenlee and Kendall both get on the phone to cover the pre-payment costs. Done, Kendall takes over with Spike, telling Annie to go home to be with Emma. She then hands Spike over to Greens, who reluctantly takes the baby. She isn't sure what to do with a child but tries to play with him. Erica arrives, angry to see Greenlee with Spike. Kendall tells Erica to back off but she won't - and takes the baby away from Greenlee, calling her a stranger! Erica begins going over the plans with Annie and Erica, leaving Greenlee out. This angers Greenlee and the claws come out. Erica points out all the people that Greens has hurt in the past. Kendall puts the kibosh on the argument, telling Erica that they have work to do. Kendall, Annie and Erica walk out, leaving Greenlee alone. She picks up Spikes toy truck, contemplating the things Erica said. Kendall returns and apologizes for Erica's actions. Greenlee blows off the apology and begin giving Kendall a hand massage to help her relax. The friends talk about old time and new, both seemingly settling in to their new roles as friends and co-workers. "We are the same," Kendall says, leaning on her old friend.

Jonathan goes to Fusion to find Ava but she isn't there. In a panic, Di comes in and asks him what happened. He explains, not getting it. Di sets him straight, telling him that he connected to Ava because of her resemblance to Lily! Di asks him who he was really with the night before and he tells her he was with Ava. That he cares about Ava, not Lily! He realizes that even though he saw a different side of Ava, she thought he was only seeing Lily!

Two Steps Forward

Kendall is busy passing out bags of goodies to the Fusion gals - filled with jammies! She's decided another night of bonding is in order. The girls change into identical outfits - green yoga pants and white tees with "Green Is Always In" printed in green. They girls begin joking about the slumber party atmosphere as they lay out sleeping bags. Greenlee doesn't like the idea and tries to leave but Kendall stops her. She reminds them about the girls they loved who were lost and asks them all to give this a shot. Zach calls Kendall as Ryan calls Annie. Both ladies tell their guys that things are going well. Josh arrives with ice cream, surprising Greens at the door. She warns him it's a hotbed of female emotions but he sticks around anyway. Josh delivers the prints of the campaign shots but they decide to wait for Ava to check them out. They wait for a while but when Ava doesn't show up decide to screen the shots without her. They all love the reel. Josh congratulates Greenlee on the concept launch; Kendall kicks him out, telling him that the night is girls only! Josh leaves but not before returning one of Greenlee's earrings to her. They girls begin cleaning up the food mess. Greenlee asks Babe about the Josh/JR mess. Babe walks away, not wanting to talk about it. Kendall fills in Greenlee and Amanda steps in, painting Josh's bad side since everyone else is bagging on JR. Di tries to reach Ava again but she isn't answering her phone. Amanda asks what's up and Di lets her know about Jonathan's new attraction. Amanda isn't sure that is a good idea. They ladies get down to work but are soon distracted when Babe brings Spike into the room. The baby wants a little mommy-time. All the girls gather round except Greenlee who hangs back. They get Spike back to sleep and pull out the icecream and they girls start talking about sleepovers from their childhood. Babe puts on some Motown music and the girls begin dancing around the house to Diana Ross and The Supremes! Laughing and dancing, the girls finally find common ground.

Proposals and Goodbyes

Greenlee is doing her darndest to make Ava feel incompetent at her first photo shoot, but Ava manages to get all of the "dark" pictures. Kendall calls for a break so they can get her all "Lilly-fied" for the daytime products. Greenlee continues sniping at Ava, trying to get her to quit or Kendall to fire the girl. Babe hustles Ava off for a break and Kendall tells Greens to back off. Amanda arrives, telling the girls about her new job offer. Greenlee is not thrilled. Annie welcomes Amanda and asks her to help with the photos. Di takes a call and learns they are having problems with the samples. Annie defends Amanda when Greenlee won't let up, telling her that they need all the help they can get. Greens backs off a bit. Ava talks to Di, telling her how nervous she is about imitating Lily. "I can be Lily on the outside but I can't on the inside," she says. Kendall brings in a picture of Lily, telling the makeup and hair people to make Ava look just like that. Ava gets even more nervous. Zach arrives, surprising Kendall with a passionate goodbye kiss. Babe realizes the music is wrong; she and Annie decide to go with another song as Kendall shows Zach the beginning of the layouts. He asks about Ava. Amanda brings up the night photos. The pictures are great and she begins making the layouts. Everything crashes - Di says they have no samples and Babe tells them the music may not be ready. Worried, Kendall tells Zach this launch has to work - and she isn't sure it will! Annie and Greens brainstorm concepts for the copy on the night photos as Ryan arrives. He pulls her into the atrium and kisses her passionately to say goodbye before leaving for New York. Greenlee watches. Ryan asks Annie to come along to New York with him but she turns him down in favor of work. They kiss again. Di interrupts, needing Annie's input on some budget numbers. Kendall shows Ryan the rough cuts. Amanda and Babe talk about the tension in the office since Ryan arrived; Amanda wonders if Babe feels about her the way Greenlee feels about Annie. She tells Babe things aren't serious but Babe doesn't believe her. Ryan and Zach are ready to leave but Kendall asks them to stay. Ava comes in, looking completely like Lily. Kendall tries to help Ava relax, especially when Greenlee keeps berating her, but she is too far gone. Amanda and Di finally calm Ava down by reminding her of Annie and Ryan's wedding. The photographer begins shooting and Ava relaxes. Finally done, everyone applauds her and tells her she did a great job. Everyone except Greenlee. Zach suggests Kendall take a nap for the baby's sake. Ava wants a nap, too, and Kendall sends her home with instructions to come back to her house later that night. Amanda has the day photos loaded and thinks she has the perfect one. Everyone begins looking for Annie to check the layouts but she is gone!

Jenny's Christening!

Aidan and Del are playing basketball and talking about the Wildwind gang when Del lets it slip that Jonathan and Ava hooked up. Aidan can't believe it. Jonathan joins them. Aidan goes off on Jonathan, telling him that sleeping with Ava is a huge mistake. Jonathan gets angry and tells Aidan he doesn't know the real Ava. He wonders why Aidan can't let go of Ava's past. Soon they begin arguing about Lily and nearly come to blows. Di interrupts the argument. Di realizes she has stepped into a sticky situation. She tells Jonathan to watch Ava, not to make excuses for her and not going everything for her. "She needs to learn how to pull her own weight," Di says. Aidan tells them all that Julia will toss Ava out anyway once she returns. They begin playing ball. The game ends and Jonathan corners Di. She tells him about Ava's new job and once more warns him not to do everything for the girl. He asks Di to get Aidan off his back! They rest for a while and begin playing again. After the second game, Di asks Aidan for a date. They leave. Del pushes Jonathan's buttons, comparing Lily and Ava.

Let's Make A Deal

Kendall is excited to show her new idea to the Fusion girls but Annie and Greenlee are missing. Worried, she tells Di and Babe about the night before. Kendall tells them that Greenlee has given up on Ryan, or so it seems. Babe and Di tell Kendall not to wait around for Greens and Annie and they get to work. She tells them about her day-to-night, sweet-to-sexy campaign. Babe loves the idea but Di has questions about using Lily. Kendall brings up using Ava, with a lot of work, thrilling Di. The girls start working on their opposites theme. Kendall can't concentrate and both Babe and Di tell her to take it easy because of the baby. Babe brings up the drama surrounding Zach and the Chandlers and Kendall wonders if there is more trouble brewing for the company because of Babe's connection to JR. They begin arguing even though Babe doesn't care about JR any longer. Di tries to get between them but neither woman will listen. Babe admits that she is concerned for little A; Kendall tells her the child will be fine, with or without an inheritance from Adam.

Annie arrives at Fusion. Kendall asks where Greenlee is and Annie says she'll be in soon. Babe begins telling Annie about the new ad campaign. She loves it! They begin brainstorming ideas as Greenlee walks in. They girls gawk at her, making her mad and then return to their concept development. As soon as she hears Ava will be the model Greenlee objects but Kendall talks over her, selling the idea. Greenlee still doesn't like it. Kendall suggests a New York trip for the company to launch the new Green line. Greenlee likes the idea of a New York trip. She and Annie talk quietly for a moment; Greenlee is surprised that Annie hasn't told the others about the yacht club meeting. Kendall, Di and Babe watch them. Ava storms in expecting to get the boot. The girls all begin talking about Ava, but she thinks they are making fun of her. Kendall surprises her by offering her the job as Fusion's new model! Ava is stunned but takes the job, thrilled. Di asks Ava about Jonathan and she tells her what happened, excited that her life seems to be turning around. Across the room, Kendall suggests that the campaign will be their biggest success.

Love Detox

Outside, Lily begins counting backward from 100. Di finds her and tries to get Lily to talk to her. Lily can't explain why Jonathan and Ava kissing is upsetting her; Di asks if she wants Jonathan back. Lily realizes she does want Jonathan back, the old Jonathan, though, not this one. Still she doesn't understand why it is upsetting her to see her sister kissing him. As she talks, Di interrupts, telling her that Ava isn't replacing Lily. She tells her that Kendall knows the difference and so do a lot of other people. Lily wonders if Jonathan knows the difference. She leaves and Di goes inside. She looks around and finds Ava's bag at the bottom of the stairs.

D. R. A. M. A.

Ava walks in to conFusion and orders a drink. Del turns her away, saying he won't serve underage customers. Di walks up, annoyed that Ava tried another Lily impersonation. Ava tells her that she and Lily agreed on the impersonation but Di can't believe she did it. Ava goes on for a bit and Di decides to help her out. She calls the photographer! The photographer comes down to talk to both of them and tells Di that Ava doesn't know how to model. Di asks him to take a chance on Ava as Ava rather than Ava pretending to be Lily. The photographer agrees to take a few shots. Ava is really nervous but Di sets her at ease with inconsequential questions about Ava's likes and dislikes. The photographer gets to work, taking shot after shot. The photographer finishes. Di likes the shots and she and Ava go upstairs to find Kendall.
