Babe Is Attacked!

At the Chandler mansion, Josh tries to get inside, but Krystal won't allow it. Josh tells Krystal that Babe is in trouble and he wants to help; when he hears JR is at the office, Josh runs off. Krystal immediately calls Babe, who assures her everything is fine. When Adam comes in, Krystal is still angry with Josh. Babe is through with him. Why can't he just leave her alone? Adam doesn't buy it and tells Krystal about the evidence that JR has been collecting against Babe. The news angers Krystal. Who does JR think he is? Adam tries to explain to Krystal that JR was only hurt and wanted to make sure Babe was back on the straight and narrow. He's sorry he kept things from her, but he needed to give his son support. That ends, now, though. He'll never keep another secret from her. Can she forgive him? Krystal rubs her pregnant belly, thinking about her own secrets. "It's not as if I haven't kept some deep, dark secrets from you, too," she says. What secret? She can tell him anything! Krystal struggles for a moment before telling him that she kept Babe and Josh's affair a secret - she knew long before she told him. Adam doesn't care, she told him when he asked. Does she think they can do this - live together without secrets or lies?

Inside JR's office, he reacts angrily to Zoe's kiss. Zoe holds him back from Babe saying, "I still have enough testosterone to take you!" JR escapes Zoe's grasp as Babe's picture is sent to her lawyer. JR becomes even more angry when Babe throws his own lies in his face. Zoe completes their plan, telling JR she will tell the tabloids that JR has been begging she and Babe into a three-some if he takes his picture public! Babe tells JR she won't use the picture if he agrees to settle things quietly. Josh bursts in, ruining any chance Babe might have had to convince JR not to use the pictures. Josh asks what JR is holding over Babe's head, but Babe won't tell him. Neither will Zoe and JR keeps twisting the knife. "Tick-tock, Babe," he repeats. Zoe tells Josh to leave and they do, reluctantly, together. Alone once more, Babe tells JR she will return the Chandler shares and share custody with him. No way! JR won't share anything with her. "You take down my mother, I will take you down just as hard!" Babe exclaims. JR calls her bluff - he can handle anything she throws at him. Babe gives him one last chance and JR doesn't take it. Seeing she won't get through to him, Babe leaves. Alone once more, JR flashes back to Dixie's dying request. It's time to go home! At the mansion, JR interrupts Adam and Krystal who have agreed on the No Secrets Policy. "That should work well," JR says sarcastically. Adam tells him the rules: anything JR says to his father will be told to Krystal; anything Babe says to Krystal will be shared with Adam. They don't want any more personal information about JR's marriage, either. Can he live with that much honesty? JR asks Krystal if he and Adam can speak alone. Before Dixie died, she told JR something and it's time Adam knew!

Playing With Fire

At the Chandler mansion, Adam and Krystal join JR, telling him about Charlotte's trust fund. The baby is a millionaire, and she hasn't even been born yet! JR is not thrilled with the news - isn't this a bit sudden? Adam assures JR that nothing will change regarding his own inheritance, but JR remains leery of the plan. Adam and Krystal get frisky on the couch and JR is unnerved by their display of affection. Babe calls him, telling him she wants to meet. JR suggests his office and hangs up. Adam leaves to have the wheelchair put in the car and Krystal tries to mother JR. He has made such improvements and she is proud of him! Once they are alone, Adam and Krystal practice Lamaze exercises. Adam coaches her in the breathing exercises, but Krystal feels silly. She doesn't need this, she didn't use it when Babe was born. The nurse tells her geriatric pregnancies can be tough, and Krystal takes offense. "Are you calling me old?"

It's Party Time!

At the Chandler mansion, JR lets Babe in to Dixie's room, but he isn't ready to forgive her. He still doesn't know what to do. Babe tells JR it's his call, he has to do what he feels is right. He is her family. Her priority. The words only make JR more angry. "Why did you kiss Josh on New Year's Eve?" he asks bluntly. Babe tells JR that Josh kissed her during the countdown and then she told him to leave her alone. JR doesn't buy it. Tad arrives downstairs and Krystal tries to head Tad off before he can see Babe. Their raised voices carry upstairs. Tad tells them Babe will be safer at the party than at the mansion. JR and Babe enter and listen to Tad's explanation for the party. JR tells Tad he'll go but Babe should stay home. Babe won't stay behind; she's going, for Dixie and the other girls who have already died. Touched, JR steps toward Babe. "You'll be safe tonight," he says. "I'll make sure of it." A little while later, alone at the manse, Krystal and Adam commiserate with one another. Babe shouldn't have gone to the party. She should have stayed safe at home. Adam stuns Krystal when he tells her he underestimated Babe -she may be very good for JR!

Questions Without Answers

At the Chandler mansion, Adam fires on Tad - it's his fault Dixie is dead! Zarf/Zoe was living in the mansion because Tad couldn't find the evidence against her fast enough. Tad and Krystle try to reason with Adam, who doesn't want to listen. If it isn't Zarf/Zoe, who is after his family? Tad tells Adam the killer is really after Zach and explains about the gardenias and ribbon and the connection to Amelia. This is a way to torture Zach. Tad leaves Adam and Krystle alone. Adam is in shock; how can he lose any more members of his family?

Zach arrives at the Chandler manse, and tells Adam, Krystle and Tad about the plan to draw out the killer. Krystle immediately rejects it; they won't put Babe at risk. Tad agrees with Zach. Babe is on the list and she'll be attacked anywhere, why not have the attack be in a controlled environment? Adam doesn't like the plan any more than Krystle does, though his reservations are for JR, not Babe. No one is putting any more of his family at risk on purpose. He shows the men the door! Outside, Tad tells Zach the plan better work - Zach doesn’t want to lose what Tad just lost!

Do You Hear What He Hears?

At the Chandler mansion, Babe wakes to find JR by her side. He looks lost and alone; she kisses his hand and tells him she is sorry. "I'm the reason your mother is dead," she tells him. The V-Tach was in the pancakes Winifred made for her. Expecting JR to be angry, Babe is stunned when he stands up - and takes her in his arms! JR tells Babe that he will grieve for Dixie for the rest of his life, but he can't blame her, and he can't be angry with her. She gave him a reason to live the night before. Adam sees their embrace and angrily confronts JR. He believes it is Babe's fault that Dixie is dead! How can JR forgive that? JR tells Adam to back off; when Babe moves to leave, JR holds her back. He'll take care of this! With a final kiss, Babe leaves the room. Upstairs, Krystle is comforting Di in Dixie's old room. Di wants to take back what she did - replacing Dixie in her own life - and now Dixie will never know how much she regrets it. Babe comes in, needing comfort from her mother. She was afraid to leave JR alone the night before, afraid he would hit the bottle. Waking up with him was nice, but she isn't sure she continue to help him. Krystle bolsters Babe's confidence, telling her she can help JR. She should just go to him, be with him. That is what he needs right now. Back downstairs, JR tearfully tells Adam to "leave my wife alone". He pulled through the night before - without turning to alcohol - because of Babe. Dixie would want him to make the marriage work. Adam disagrees; Dixie would want JR to be happy and Babe's choices will only hurt him. Angry, JR turns on him; he isn't like Adam. Why can't his father understand that he can't turn from his family now? Adam declares that if Krystle had an affair he would turn her away! Tad arrives, diffusing the situation. He tells JR he will always be there for him. JR asks Adam to leave them alone.

Outside the study, Adam is heartbroken that JR has chosen to talk to Tad instead of him. Krystle comforts him, telling Adam he has a relationship with JR that Tad will never have. Meanwhile inside the study, JR tells Tad that Babe helped him make it through the night. How will Tad make it through this, without anyone? He'll get through because of his children, Tad tells JR. He advises JR to go to Babe; to not waste any more time away from her. JR wants to stay with Tad, but Tad pushes him to go to Babe. The two men embrace; Adam and Krystle enter the room as JR heads upstairs.

Tad takes an electronic device from his pocket and begins scanning the room. He finds a bug attached to the mantle, but Adam freaks out before Tad can get him to stay quiet. Now the killer knows they've found the bug! Krystle is stunned by the find. She is responsible, she was standing right there when she told Wini to make the pancakes. She believes Dixie's death is her fault!

Dixie's Final Scene

At the Chandler mansion, Babe is in shock. Adam goes on the attack, telling her everything that has happened is her fault. Jack interrupts the fight, telling Adam to go to the hospital. His family needs him. Derek and Jack begin questioning Zarf and Babe erupts in anger. Those were her pancakes, if anyone is to blame, it is her not Zoe. In tears, Babe asks to go to the hospital to see JR. She and a bodyguard leave.
As Babe arrives in the waiting room to comfort JR, Dr. Joe Martin comes outside. "We lost her," he says. Without saying a word, Tad leaves the crowd. Joe keeps Jamie from following his father and Babe comforts JR. Angry, he demands that Joe go back inside and fix Dixie. Finally realizing his mother is gone, JR asks to see Dixie. Babe wheels him inside. Jamie follows with Adam and Opal. Dixie singing "You Are My Sunshine" fills the room. Those closest to Dixie say their goodbyes, but Jamie can't. He stays in the back of the room, crying. Di leaves the room, angry that they couldn't catch the killer before he got to Dixie. Aidan takes her in his arms and holds her while she cries. As JR takes Dixie's hand, she appears and her spirit squeezes his shoulder, then moves to Jamie. Her spirit can't find Tad in the hospital. Babe brings JR his mother's bracelet and, crying, he puts it on Dixie's wrist. "I love you, Mama," he says.

Poisoned Pancakes!

At the Chandler mansion, Dixie tries to convince Babe it's only her heart, but as Babe tells Krystle and JR to call 9-1-1, Dixie collapses! JR falls to the floor, begging Dixie to stay with him. With Babe's help, he begins CPR when Dixie stops breathing. As Krystle calls 9-1-1, Zarf comes in, he found a box of gardenias outside the house, shocking Adam! JR and Babe see the flowers and immediately begin to panic; hearing the ambulance, Babe goes to bring in the EMT's. JR begs Dixie not to leave, to stay with him. Dixie wakes for a moment, saying, "Give Tad his child." She tells JR that Krystle's baby is Tad's! JR can't believe what he is hearing. Dixie passes out again as the EMT's arrive to take her to the hospital. Adam asks Babe to stay to help the police. Zarf offers to go to the hospital and Adam explodes!
