Blast, C-Man, Blast!

At the Chandler mansion, Adam thinks Carmen is losing it because she is sweet-talking the furniture. Carmen says it is her birthday, she has a great guy and she is completely happy. Adam brings her down, telling her that Jack will see through her gold-digging ways. Carmen says she doesn't care about Jack's money; she cares about him.

Dre stops by the Chandler mansion to see Colby. They talk about Cassandra in Paris for a while and then Petey walks up. He tries to ingratiate himself with Colby but she is turned off by his geekiness and slams the door shut. She and Dre go to the terrace; Petey follows them. He places a jar of his invention on the foyer table. Hearing Colby tell Dre she is going to miss him when he hits the campaign trail with Samuel, Petey tells Dre that Colby is trying to steal him away from Cassandra. Both of them tell Petey to get lost. "Heck no I won't go," he chants and sits down. Colby storms back into the house, followed by the boys, and finds Adam doctoring a paper cut on Carmen's hand. She tells him to get rid of Petey; Petey reminds him of their agreement. He sees the jar of Blast is open and realizes Adam used it on Carmen's cut! Petey talks in riddles to let Adam know and then Carmen faints. They carry Carmen to the sitting room. Petey says this is his fault because the jar is Opal's concoction to get rid of Adam's bad side. Carmen wakes and starts babbling about birthday candles. Colby and Dre leave. Adam turns on Petey and asks why he left Blast out. Petey says he was busy wooing Colby and then checks on Carmen. Her pulse is racing and she is still babbling about birthdays. Adam says he has ruined everything and Petey leaves. Carmen starts to undress but Adam stops her. She stumbles outside. He catches Petey on the terrace and says he is going to hire his own men to disperse Blast. Petey says they can't understand the correct ratio of Blast to Bella. Adam takes the concoction and calls his men. Petey grabs the bottle off the side table and sneaks away.

Erica arrives at the manse as Colby is saying goodbye to Dre. Dre thanks Erica for helping his father during the hit-and-run fiasco. Erica asks about Carmen. Colby says she is acting strangely because of a paper cut. Erica goes inside. Colby follows Erica inside and they both see Carmen, soaking wet, in the sitting room with Adam. Carmen says she was burning up and jumped in the pool to cool off. Colby is weirded out and leaves. Erica gives Carmen her birthday present, making her cry. "This is the best day of my life," she cries as Adam walks out, too. Carmen is going on and on about Erica's friendship when Jack arrives and sets her off on another 'life is wonderful' tangent. She tries on the dress, which was supposed to be frumpy but actually looks good, and then Jack gives her another gift. They leave. Erica is sad but then Adam heads inside and she puts her seduction plans in action by bending over. Adam slaps her rear end and she pretends to be offended.

Kendall Knows!

At the Yacht Club Erica meets with Lou, the executive producer of New Beginnings and several other shows. She says she is ready to come back to her host position. Lou stuns her by saying there is a new mandate at the station and New Beginnings is in trouble because viewership has dropped! Adam arrives as Erica tries to convince Lou to stand by her show. He gleefully watches. JR arrives and says he has lost faith in Babe and that Adam should cut his losses. Adam says there may be another way. They agree to meet at the mansion later. JR leaves but watches Adam for a few minutes from the hall. Adam eavesdrops on Erica again as Lou says there is only one way New Beginnings will survive - if Erica agrees to turn it into a reality/dating show. Erica turns him down flat and says she will prove that New Beginnings is still viable. Lou says Elton gave him the ideas; Erica says Elton would never do that and threatens to call him. Lou gives in and says she has until the end of sweeps to bring up the ratings. He leaves. Adam comes over and tries to make nice with Erica by offering coffee. He sits down and tells Erica that Jack could be the answer to her prayers. She tries to sling coffee at him but Adam catches her. She storms off.

Moving On and Stepping Back...

Between security, JR and Adam, Ryan is escorted back to the sitting room. Adam dismisses security and tells Petey, who was outside Colby's room, that he can leave, too. Ryan tells the gathering that Annie has been lying for months now but Babe keeps sticking up for Annie. So do JR and Adam. Adam brings up Kendall and Greenlee, saying they have been pushing at Annie and making her insecurities grow. Ryan tells him to leave the other women out of it. Adam says she just needs time and space. Ryan says he'll leave but once he reaches the door, he locks Adam, JR and Babe inside. Petey tries to stop him from going upstairs but can't. Annie barely makes it back to bed before Ryan bursts in, followed by Adam, JR and Babe who were released by Petey. Adam offers to call security. She says she is fine and tries to put Emma back to bed but the little girl wants to be with Ryan. Babe leads her away to the kitchen with promises of ice cream. The Chandler's leave. Ryan confronts her about the restraining order. She says he has hurt her much more than simple physical abuse and then has another cramp. She falls to the floor. "Help us," she whispers. Ryan carries her downstairs; JR promises to keep an eye on Emma. When they are alone, JR asks Adam what he is really up to by letting Petey hang around and being nice to Babe. Adam insists he is just turning over a new leaf, that Petey is a good influence on Colby and that Babe deserves all of the accolades. JR returns to the sitting room. Petey steps from behind a column and tells Adam he is the king of subterfuge. Adam tells him not to get too comfortable around Colby!

Erica goes to Adam's and asks him for help with the Josh situation. Adam won't even listen to her and slams the door in her face!

Back in the sitting room, JR tells Babe they have to be wary of Adam because he is up to something. He returns to the foyer, sees Adam and Petey and asks point blank what Annie and Petey have to do with his plans. Adam dodges the questions. JR and Babe take Emma upstairs, read her a story and put her to bed. JR tells Babe he likes this story. In the hall, he says she is his best friend and the love of his life. "I want to laugh, dance and sing," he says and kisses her.

Annie Puts Her Plans In Motion!

JR and Adam meet in the sitting room. JR is still worried about Colby but Adam insists she just had a bug. JR wonders what Adam knows and isn't sharing. Adam goes to the terrace; Petey walks up and says they have to make their partnership official. Adam says he won't pimp out Colby any longer. Petey says they could make beautiful madness together and leaves. Annie and Babe arrive home a while later. Babe and JR make dinner plans and invite her along but she says she just wants a night alone. She pretends to go to her room but when they go to the terrace, she hunts up Adam's key - and takes his gun! She hears Babe tell JR that Ryan could be dangerous; JR says Annie can handle herself. Adam nearly catches her but Annie covers. Adam goes to the terrace and listens to Babe telling JR how great Bella is doing so far. Adam tells her she is doing a great job and leaves. JR tells Babe that he is up to something. Adam catches Petey sneaking in the front door and tells him a Bella shipment will arrive next week. Petey is excited and nearly spills the beans to JR, who walks into the foyer. Petey runs upstairs to find Colby. JR asks Adam what he is up to. As they argue, Ryan arrives and demands to see Annie! Babe comes in and says Annie had every right to take out the restraining order; she tells Adam and JR about the bruises! Ryan says Annie is making it all up and demands to see Emma. He runs past JR up the stairs.

First Right of Refusal!

Annie goes back to the mansion and tells Adam that his plan failed because Bella was a success. She doesn't understand why he wants Fusion to rise and Adam won't tell her. Ryan arrives and asks to see Emma. Annie refuses, saying it is too late, and then tells him she saw him with Greenlee. Ryan swears they were just talking but Annie won't listen to him. He begs her not to make Emma suffer and tries to get inside but Annie blocks him. Ryan barges in anyway and Adam tells him to get out - before he calls the cops! Adam says they both need to stop fighting in front of Emma; Ryan says he won't leave Emma but then leaves the house. Annie thanks Adam, who tells her to stop using her children to manipulate Ryan. "This, from the man who manipulates for sport!" she exclaims. Adam says she is manipulating the wrong person. Annie watches a late newscast which features Greenlee, saying that Fusion is doing just fine. She shuts off the television and throws a flower vase against the fireplace. Annie picks up her phone and calls Ryan.

Damage Control!

Back at the party, Kendall can't take her mind off of Greenlee. Amanda returns to Babe, who is worried after hearing Randi scream, and says a low-life came after Randi. Frankie takes Randi out of the party. Babe worries that the launch has been damaged. Colby comes over with Adam and JR, excited about the fragrance. She asks for another spritz over and over but Adam won't hear of her putting more of the contaminated brew on her body. He takes Petey aside; Petey isn't sure how the perfume will affect Colby but says it shouldn't be any worse than when Opal was exposed. Adam angrily blames Petey, saying Colby wasn't supposed to be affected. Ryan grabs Annie and demands to know why she didn't tell him about Joe's bed rest ultimatum. She says her doctor's words are none of his business since he has been lying for months about Greenlee. Kendall interrupts and demands that Annie get to work doing damage control because of the attack. Annie leaves to talk to the press and Kendall tells Ryan to stop letting Annie use his kids against him. Babe and Amanda wonder what to do about the attack. Amanda nearly tells her about Randi's hooker past but keeps her mouth shut. JR interrupts and tells Babe they have to get Colby home because her "problem" is back. Just then Colby walks by, giggling drunkenly. Amanda says she can handle things. Jack finds Carmen. She is upset about the attack. Reporters begin questioning her about Erica's early exit but Carmen doesn't know anything. Jack takes her aside and suggests they leave. Carmen is worried about why Erica may have left the party early. Jack says it doesn't matter. Kendall corners Amanda at the bar and says she knew this would happen. Amanda tells her to back off because this could have happened to any one of them. Greenlee comes over and says the same thing; Kendall won't listen. She tries calling Zach again but he doesn't answer. Kendall runs into Aidan and tells him to stop smothering Greenlee because it won't stop Greens from returning to Ryan! Annie finds Aidan a few minutes later and tells him to keep Greenlee under wraps and away from Ryan!
