Seeing The Future!

JR meets Adam at the Chandler mansion. He goes to check on Kathy and little A, wondering how to tell Kathy about Julia. Adam harshly says it won't matter because Julia wasn't Kathy's real mom. JR angrily tells him that biology doesn't matter. Little A and Kathy come downstairs and when they are settled in the kitchen, JR brings up Kate again. Adam keeps up his harsh stance, saying Tad doesn't deserve to know Kate. He brings up Charlotte. "Don't you mean Jenny?" JR asks, reminding Adam that he walked away from the baby. Adam disagrees and tells JR how hard it was to let go of Charlotte. JR still believes Tad deserves to know Kate. Kathy and Little A return with snacks but JR sends them back to Winifred. JR decides he'll find Kate for Tad! Adam demands that JR focus on little A, not Kate but JR won't give in. He says Kate is his family. To make his father understand, JR asks who he loves. He goads Adam until he admits he is still in love with Krystal. JR tells Adam to think about what losing Tad will do to Krystal and the rest of the family. Adam begins to break down. He looks at the ceiling. "Are you satisfied?" he asks and runs from the house.

Adam arrives at the hospital but before he can reach Tad's room, Jake stops him! Adam asks if Tad can hear him speak. Jake refuses but Adam walks to Tad's door anyway.

Desperate Times...

In the hall, Adam asks Krystal if he can do anything. She says he can't and walks off. Dixie appears and tells Adam he could tell them all about Kathy/Kate. Krystal returns to Babe and JR, telling them she just spoke with Maria about Julia and Kathy. Frankie comes by but doesn't have any news about Tad yet. Krystal and Babe walk away. Adam sits with JR, who believes Adam is only there to gloat once Tad dies. Adam swears he doesn't want Tad to die. JR tells Adam to leave because no one wants him there and then he walks off. Dixie returns to sit with Adam, who begins dreaming that Colby was one of the victims of the wedding shootings! He asks Dixie if this is what she meant when she said his family would pay.

Greg finds Babe and Krystal in another waiting room and asks what he can do. "Can you guarantee me Tad will walk out of here alive?" she asks. Greg says he can't and hugs her. JR comes into the room to comfort Krystal, who wonders how she can help Tad now. She worries that she never loved Tad enough. Adam watches them from outside the room. Angie comes into the hall, as Krystal tells Adam that learning about Kate would be a huge help to Tad. Angie says Tad came out of surgery okay but he is still in grave danger. Adam listens in as JR and Babe support Krystal.

The Waiting Game Begins...

At the Chandler manse, Adam remembers what Dixie has been telling him about Kate. Just then JR calls and tells Colby about Julia's death and Tad's injury. Kathy, who has been sleeping on the sofa, wakes and asks for Julia. Adam distracts her with the promise of cookies and sends her off to the kitchen.

Zach calls the hospital and learns that Julia has died. Stunned, he tells Kendall and decides he has to call Maria. They go to the hospital; Zach talks to Joe about contacting Maria and learns that Julia asked Krystal to do it. Kendall sees Aidan at Julia's door and says how sorry she is. Ryan and Greenlee arrive; Jack fills them in. Greenlee sees Kendall and Aidan standing together. Annie walks up, sees Ryan with Greenlee and walks away quickly. Jack asks Ryan to give him a minute with Greenlee and then apologizes for telling her about Aidan and Kendall so abruptly. She says she is okay and asks Ryan to take her home. They leave together. Annie is sitting alone, crying, when she sees a brochure about fertility problems. Jake finally returns to the waiting room. He tells Joe that Tad still isn't stabilized but they can't wait any longer for surgery. Joe looks over the charts and hugs Jake. Krystal asks to see Tad first and Jake takes her into the room. JR realizes no one has called Jamie. Just then Adam arrives and asks what he can do. In the treatment room, Krystal begs Tad to hold on. She kisses him and says, "I love you." Krystal returns and sees Adam; she asks about Kathy. Adam sees Dixie is right behind her.

Tad Survives - For Now!

Adam takes Colby and Kathy back to the mansion. Kathy asks again and again for Julia; Colby goes to get some toys to distract her, leaving the kiddo alone with Adam. Adam finds another of her adoption certificates on his table and hides it. Colby returns with toys but Kathy only wants Julia. Adam distracts her with a drawing of a cat.

Shots Fired! Julia's Down!

Inside, Tad tries to get Adam to leave and stop making a scene. Adam yells for JR. Dixie, nearby, tells Adam that he can't protect his family in this way; the bad things are already in motion. Both Krystal and Adam are upset to hear that JR is in a room with Babe, and Adam sets off to find them. Tad catches him on the way out and says he needs to be in a mental hospital. Adam rambles about his kids not being safe and threatens to break Tad "like a stick" if he tries to stop him from protecting them. At every turn, Dixie appears in front of Adam warning him that people are about to get hurt. He's cocky and leaves Dixie and her advice behind as he sets off again to find JR and Babe.

Downstairs, the elevator opens and Angie and Rob step out, spotting Aidan. Angie screams for Aidan's help and Aidan pulls his gun, but Rob bullies him into putting it away. He drags Angie into the reception, and the crowd shrinks back when they see the gun. To make matters worse, Aidan bursts in behind them with his gun drawn. There's a brief pause of a standoff, during which Dixie begs Tad to leave. Tad doesn't hear her, of course, and slowly Rob points the gun and shoots. Julia slumps over. There are screams as everyone rushes to help Julia. Rob pulls the trigger again and Greg is hit in the arm. Satisfied, Rob drags Angie out of the reception. Things aren't looking good for Julia, who's slipping away despite attempts to help her. The ambulance comes to take her away. Colby and Adam try to console Kathy, who's worried about "Aunt Julia."

Caught!

On the sidelines, Frankie tries to talk Dre into asking Cassandra to dance. Dre reluctantly gathers up the courage and pairs off with her. While Frankie looks on, Colby joins him. She's trying to get her flirt on, but is interrupted by a phone call from Adam. He's worried that she's in danger and is calling from the road, as he instructs the driver to take him to the casino, pronto! Adam arrives at the hotel and is immediately confronted by Dixie, who tells him that time is running out and he'd better get moving. He rushes into the reception and yanks Colby out of the dance. She resists and Tad comes to her aid. "You're not welcome here," Tad says to Adam. As Colby struggles to get out of Adam's grip, Jake steps in to back his brother. Adam starts to throw a fit, but Dixie taunts him, daring him to 'fess up what he knows.
