A Day Filled With Surprises!

At the Pine Valley Hospital, the EMTs wheel Adam in. Joe asks Jamie a few questions and then takes over from the emergency workers. "Is my dad okay?" Colby asks as they all look on, worried about Adam. "Krystal," Adam murmers. Stuart stays with Colby while Babe and Jamie go back out to try to track down where the signal from Amanda's cell phone is coming from. Palmer comes downstairs to ask Joe about Adam. "No heroic efforts. Let the devil take his soul," Palmer exclaims! Joe tells him it's tempting but he has to uphold his doctor's oath. Palmer leaves. Adam wakes and is annoyed to see Joe taking care of him. He demands a "real doctor" but Joe ignores him. In the hall, Stuart talks to Marian about losing Adam. JR's apathy about Adam's condition angers Colby. Marian asks her to be understanding about JR and to not blame herself. Colby returns to JR's side and asks him to support Adam; Joe comes to the hall and Colby shows him the unfilled prescription, believing she is to blame. Joe assures her that she wasn't at fault because Adam had a heart attack, not a stroke. Stuart heads inside to see his brother. "It's going to be okay," Stuart says, apologizing for being angry with him lately.

Will They Find Jenny In Time?

At the new condo, Krystal can't rest. She is too worried about Jenny. Babe hugs her, telling Krystal that they will find Jenny. Telling Krystal that Janet won't hurt Jenny, she tells her that Janet was very gentle while she held Babe in the cabin. She walks Krystal into the bedroom. The next morning Krystal sends Colby off to school even though she doesn't want to leave. Winifred takes little A off for a bath. Reaching into her purse for Colby's lunch money, she finds Adam's TIA prescription. Colby offers to fill the prescription and take it to Adam; she leaves the condo as Jamie arrives. He asks if they have seen Amanda, who is now missing! Winifred returns with little A and they head out for the day. Alone again, Jamie asks Babe to keep an eye out for Amanda. Defeated and thinking that Amanda is now helping Janet, Krystal leaves the room. Jamie and Babe begin talking about how their taking little A from JR must have effected him. Babe suggests they go to JR now so that Jamie can finally apologize.

At the Chandler mansion, Adam demands that Tad set him free from the cuffs. JR arrives, gawking at them both. Tad refuses to take the cuffs off. Seeing JR, Adam asks him to call a locksmith but JR won't do it. Adam complains of a headache and begins swaying and asking for his pills. "Gotta give him an A for effort," Tad says, kicking him and making him act normal again. They sleep and when they wake up, Adam clutches his heart. Tad believes he is faking another heart attack but Adam says it's just heartburn. He demands Tad set him free, but Tad won't. "How am I supposed to relieve myself?" Adam asks. The two exchange barbs, neither happy about the situation. Adam grabs his chest again. JR arrives and Adam tells him he can't breath; JR doesn't believe him and jokes about Adam's acting abilities. When he leaves, Adam clutches his left arm. Still, Tad doesn't believe anything is really wrong. Janet calls and Adam tries to hang up but Tad grabs the phone before he can! "You played me for a fool," Tad hears Janet say. Hoping she will say something important, Tad keeps quiet. When Janet tells "Adam" she is "going to the source", Tad gets an idea. After he hangs up, Tad offers to take Adam to get the key but he collapses! "Knock it off," Tad says, kicking Adam in the shoulder. Adam asks for a doctor, but is obviously not weak, and JR ignores him. Jamie and Babe arrive and Adam orders them to call 9-1-1. Jamie sees that he is pale but JR, Tad and even Babe still only think he is faking. JR tosses Tad the handcuff key and he uncuffs them and leaves the mansion. Jamie begins checking Adam's vitals and realizes that he is really having a heart attack. JR grabs the phone to call 9-1-1 but Babe asks him to wait for a moment. She asks Adam what he would do if he saw Krystal in the same situation. He doesn't answer and she hands Jamie some aspirin as JR calls for help. As the EMT's arrive, so does Colby. Babe explains what happened as the emergency workers roll Adam away.

Adam Gets Cuffed!

At Tad's offices, Jamie receives a text message from Aidan with news about Janet. They've found reports of several missing cars. Meanwhile, Amanda continues talking to the moon and asking for it to find her mother! JR continues to try to get into Adam's email account but can't access it. Hearing Amanda, he becomes angry, wondering why she is talking to the moon instead of helping them search. JR slams out of the office. Alone, Amanda and Jamie talk about their dysfunctional families. Amanda talks about her father and blames herself for his death. Jamie tells her she wasn't at fault; that was all Janet. But Amanda doesn't believe him. Upset, Amanda gathers her things and leaves the office. JR returns, attacking Amanda's actions. Jamie tells him to back off!

Suspects, Galore!

At Janet's new digs, Tad asks the adoptive parents where Janet went. Learning that she stole their car, Tad becomes worried. Jamie asks for the car's registration as Tad calls Derek for help. He asks for road blocks on all the roads and then hands the phone to the man to give a description. Amanda finds Janet's cell phone. Tad asks Jamie to take his car and start to look. Amanda goes with him, but Tad stays behind with the adoptive parents. "Who arranged for you to adopt my daughter?" he asks. The parents tell him about "Mr. Prince", the adoption broker, who didn't show up. When they tell him that they never really met Mr. Prince, Tad becomes angry. "This is about revenge. Mr. Prince is nothing but a sadistic S.O.B.," Tad says. Aidan arrives, asking the couple to go with him while Tad waits inside. He picks up a croquet ball and smashes a mirror with it. Derek arrives and begins talking to the couple. He sends an officer to check Janet's cell and asks Tad some questions. Instead of answering, he leaves to begin searching the local roads.

Jamie takes Amanda to Tad's office, telling her that they need to stay near a phone until Janet contacts her. Amanda doesn't want to sit quietly and wait; she wants to help find Janet. Aidan arrives, telling them that the police found the car Janet stole but they haven't found her yet. "No one can get lost better than my mom," she says, remembering how Janet was when she was on her meds and worried how Janet might be acting now that she is off the meds. Aidan picks up some files and leaves, telling Jamie to keep an eye on Amanda. Still angry that Amanda didn't come clean after the accident, Jamie tells her that every move she has made was wrong. "He scared me. He said my mom could die and I believed him," Amanda says, telling Jamie that Adam would never have thought about teaming up with Janet if he hadn't had Adam committed! Admitting that that wasn't a great idea, Jamie tells Amanda that they will find Janet and Jenny.

A Mystery Afoot!

Back at the hospital, Amanda is still on the phone, trying to get her mother to talk to her, not knowing that Janet has put the phone down to answer the door. She and Babe put Amanda’s cell on speakerphone and overhear a man’s voice saying that they’re there to take the baby. Bad timing – the signal is lost and they lose connection with Janet. They are frantic, and Babe immediately tries to call Krystal, but can’t get an answer. Enter Tad, Jamie, and JR, who immediately call Aidan to have him trace Janet’s cell phone signal. The signal is traced to somewhere within two miles of Pine Valley. They split up – Tad, Jamie, and Amanda off to find Janet and Babe and JR to track down Krystal.

Tad, Jamie, and Amanda burst through the door of Janet’s hideout and come face to face with the adoptive couple, still sitting on the couch, and an empty crib. Amanda immediately recognizes her mother’s favorite coffee cake. They search the house, but Janet and the baby are gone.

Operation: Jenny!

At the yacht club, Amanda asks about the search for Jenny and tries to apologize. Jamie doesn't want to hear it; he believes she should have come clean from the beginning. If she had, he believes, Jenny wouldn't be missing. "You should have come to me," he says, unable to understand why she kept quiet. Jamie asks her to go and she does. Tad arrives from the Coast Guard boat, unsettled because they haven't been able to find any sign of the yacht! He yells at a Coast Guard member, but quickly apologizes. "I'm begging you, find the boat," he says. The officials promise Tad they'll keep looking and leave. Tad wonders if focusing on the yacht is the wrong thing to do. Tad begins to talk to Dixie, asking her to give him strength. "I can't endure the nightmare all over again," he says emotionally. One of the Coast Guard members comes over, telling him they have found the yacht! When Jamie returns, Tad tells him about the second half of their plan, just in case Janet and Jenny aren't on the yacht. He wants to plead with Janet through television!

Babe wakes Krystal, who has been sleeping in her hospital bed, with word that it's time to go. "I don't want to leave here without my little girl," Krystal cries. Colby and Babe sit with Krystal as she holds one of Jenny's onesies, crying. She worries that they will never find Jenny; Colby tells her that Adam wouldn't even listen to her. Babe kneels beside her momma, telling her that Tad is already following leads. Amanda comes inside, asking Krystal to forgive her. "I swear we're going to find my mom and we'll get the baby back," she says, shocking Krystal who didn't know Janet was involved! Amanda tries to explain that Adam took her mother, not knowing that they were planning to take Jenny. Krystal explodes in anger. Babe tries to make Krystal understand that Janet wouldn't hurt the baby, but Krystal doesn't care. Amanda apologizes and leaves. Babe leaves to finish Krystal's paperwork and Colby apologizes to Krystal for not being able to get through to Adam. Krystal holds her, telling her that she did everything she could and sends the girl off to school. "I'm going to find her," Krystal says to Jenny when she is alone. Krystal grabs her bag and takes off!

In the hall, Jamie approaches Amanda, telling her about the plan to contact Janet and asking for her help!
