Hello, Simone!

Babe and Jamie head back to the condo where Babe shows Jamie the now-empty Slater condo. Jamie turns it down, preferring to stay at the yacht club for now. Babe decides she needs to study - alone! But Jamie is reluctant to go. She sits down and asks him to quiz her!

How Far Will Kendall Go?

At Wildwind, Jamie and Julia talk about their relationship. Di interrupts them, asking if they have seen Amanda. After a couple of day of her not being around the mansion or at work, she is worried! They bring in Aidan, who suggests that she just left town to decompress for a while. They aren't so sure and wonder if they should call the cops. Del arrives. He just got a voice mail from Amanda - that she is on vacation in Fiji with a friend! They are all relieved. The group disperses and once again Julia and Jamie are alone to talk. He apologizes for calling the pregnancy test a scare but Julia doesn't want to hear his apologies. She tells him that they are obviously in different places in their lives. He tells her that he does want children - someday! - and tells her that he loves her. "Someday just isn't good enough," she says. Jamie is disappointed when Julia tells him that she isn't willing to wait for someday to come. She talks about Kathy and visiting her family and tells Jamie that she is leaving tomorrow! "I really thought I could make you happy," Jamie says. Emotionally, Julia tells him that he did make her happy. She kisses him and leaves.

Greenlee Backs Down!

In the lounge Babe and Di compare Kendall and Greenlee's friendship to Babe's friendship with Bianca. They return to the front office and wonder what is wrong with Greenlee. Di returns to the lounge and Babe puts on her counselor hat. She tells Greenlee to back off from Kendall and Ryan. "If you ask real nice you might just get what you want," she says. Greenlee flashes back to her dream. She picks up her bag and leaves. Jamie arrives for a study session but talk quickly turns to their personal lives. Babe asks how things are going with Julia. Jamie doesn't want to talk at first but finally does begin to confide in her. He thinks Julia wants to break up with him because of the way he reacted to the pregnancy test. "Losing Julia will hurt," Jamie says. Babe advises him not to let his relationship get him down.

Dream A Little Dream

Babe takes over from Colby, talking to the baby as she dozes. She advises the baby to follow through - on school and on life! She falls asleep, dreaming she is at commencement exercises, advising her fellow student to be honest and passionate. Jamie approaches, handing her a diploma. He kisses her passionately! Babe wakes on the couch.

Julia finds Jamie and Jonathan asleep on the sofas with a movie in the background. She begins flipping through the channels and finds a documentary on childbirth. She dreams, Julia is pregnant. Jamie is her doctor but tells her there really isn't a baby, even though she has an obviously-pregnant tummy and they hear a heartbeat. He leaves, saying he needs to get a life. She wakes, realizing that Jamie isn't ready to be a father. Upset, Julia goes to her room. The next morning, Jamie kisses Julia good morning in the parlor. She pulls away but before they can talk, Kathy comes. "We'll talk later," she says and leaves.

In the cellar, JR dreams that Adam won't pay his ransom! "You're not my son. You're nothing," Adam tells him. JR replies that he doesn't want to be a Chandler he is a Martin. JR, along with Tad and little A begin the song and dance routine "Everybody Wants To Be A Martin". Joe and Jamie arrive with Krystal, Colby and Jenny and they all begin singing and dancing. The music and singing gets a little crazy and out of sync and suddenly the room turns red and JR is dying on the floor. The scene switches to Adam, who is having a nightmare that JR is dead! "JR," he yells, jerking awake. The rest of the night Adam tosses and turns, unable to get the thought of JR out of his mind. The kidnapper calls, demanding $100 million dollars within the desk 36 hours - or JR will die!

Who Kidnapped JR?

At Wildwind, Julia tells Jamie there isn't a baby. He realizes that she is disappointed with the news but before they can talk things through, Kathy comes in. Julia sends her off to get ready to leave for the park. As soon as Kathy leaves, Babe arrives. Julia shows Babe around and then leaves with Kathy. Alone, Jamie pulls out her school books but Babe has picked up on the vibes between the couple and wonders what is wrong between them. She tries to get him to talk, but Jamie isn't interested and turns back to the books. She invites him to stop by to see little A. Finally, Jamie breaks down and tells her about Julia's false alarm and his own relief at the news. Babe leaves. Julia returns and Jamie asks her to talk about the "scare". Julia turns away, realizing just how different they both feel about children.

Spike is Mine!

At Wildwind, Julia has sprung the news on Jamie that she’s “late,” and that the pregnancy test is hers, not Di’s. Jamie doesn’t seem particularly pleased by the news, but does the honorable thing and offers to marry her if the test comes out positive. Julia says she won’t marry him, and offers a laundry list of reasons why not. He’s still getting over the loss of Dixie; he’s still in med school; his less-than-enthusiastic reaction when he thought the test was Di and Aidan’s; and, most of all, he’s only asking because it’s the right thing to do. She decides to shelve the test for the night and plans to take it first thing in the morning.

Julia emerges from the bathroom where an anxious Jamie is pacing. She’s holding the pregnancy test stick. Is there one line or two on that stick…?

Trouble Is Brewing For JR!

Amanda is at Wildwind, staring out the window and playing with Trevor's favorite coin with Jamie arrives home. She angrily strikes out at him, annoyed because everyone seems to be treating her with kid gloves. She wants her friends to treat her normally. Jamie grabs her and gives her a noogie! He reminds her that he is always here for her, for anything. She thanks him, but tells him she can handle her own life. She leaves. Julia arrives home with groceries and a pregnancy test. She hides it when Jamie calls out to her. He tells her about Kathy's day and offers her a drink. She heads over to see Kathy as Di comes in with a splinter. Jamie offers to help her out but she declines. As she leaves, she knocks the pregnancy test from under the couch but doesn't notice. Jamie takes it to Julia, wondering who it belongs to. Before Julia can say anything, Jamie lets her know that he is not ready to be a father and would, in fact, rather die than have a child right now! Jamie goes on to say how glad he isn't in Aidan's shoes because he thinks the test belongs to Di!
