Josh is shooting baskets, and Amanda comes over to blame him for JR's accident—until he clues her in on the truth about JR's leap out the window. Then she's mad at him for leaving Babe alone. He admits that he thought about letting him die but that JR has "nine lives" and that Babe will be spending all her time at his bedside.
Jamie leaves the hospital and goes to tell Josh to get off his high horse and leave Babe alone. Face it, he tells him, Babe loves JR!
Julia is shocked to hear that Jamie wants her back—David eavesdrops. But what about their age differences and priorities, asks Julia?
Later, David mentions that to her, and she tells him she doesn't want his advice.
Jamie asks for her answer. She's sorry, but it's not going to happen.
Jamie and Di are in the waiting room, with Jamie sorry he didn't break JR's hands to stop him from drinking. Erica and Jeff rush in, and there's an awkward moment when Jack sees them.
Josh arrives at the hospital, walks directly to Babe and asks "How is JR?" Adam rushes towards him, and without a word, punches him in the face. A melee ensues, and then Adam punches Jeff.
Erica steps in to defend Josh and blame Babe for what happened. Dixie chimes in and says it's Babe's fault. Adam agrees. Finally Babe speaks, and says everyone is right—she's responsible for her ruined marriage. She wanders off, and Josh rushes after her, angrily warning everyone to stay away. When he finds Babe, sitting alone and crying, she tells him to go away, and that she never wants to see his face again.
Julia brings Jamie a cup of coffee, and he admits how angry he is with his brother for drinking again. He wants Josh out of all of their lives forever. And he wants Julia back.
Kendall goes over to comfort Bianca, thinking she's upset over Josh—but discovers she's feeling that she's weak. She stood up to JR, why couldn't she stand up and fight for Maggie?
Jack asks Erica if she is ready to move home. She claims she still has a lot to do with the show. Or is it Jeff Martin, asks Jack?
Julia runs into Tad at conFusion, then goes to join her gal pals for "girl's night." Jamie joins Tad, and Tad accuses him of sulking.
David thinks about all the things that have happened between him and Dixie. Babe comes over…why is he sitting there in the dark, and he shares his complaints and regrets with her—especially trashing JR.
"What are you planning to do?" asks Babe. She insists she happy with JR, and that they're planning to have another baby. If she's so happy, why is she cheating on him, asks David.
Babe denies that she's sleeping with Josh, and David tells her he's not upset. On the contrary, he thinks Josh is devoted to her and is a much better man than JR.
Jamie comes over and shares about the DNA test. An aggrieved David wonders why nobody listens to him—not even Babe. "They've even turned you against me."
Babe expresses her lack of confidence in her father, and David bases their lack of relationship on JR. She'd rather be JR's wife than his daughter? Yes, says David, and sends her away. "It didn't have to be this way," says babe, but he claims "there's no other choice.
Julia comes over to Tad's office and runs into Jamie. She tells him about the DNA test, and he's exultant that Emma might be his sister. But she's concerned about David's lukewarm reaction to the news.
Aiden and Di come over to Tad's, and she sees Kate's birth certificate. They ask if she can help them find Annie and what else she knows. Di admits that she never saw Annie pregnant, and that she said Terry was not Emma's father. Tad shows how tortured he is by being unable to find his daughter, and Aiden vows not to give up until they find her.
JR shows up at Tad's, wanting to know what's going on. He's angry, and thinks Tad's assertions about Kate are an attempt to hurt his mother. Jamie comes in, and the truth about the trial is revealed. He's completely surprised, now sorry for the way he acted. He asks if Tad knows the identity of the real killer of Madden. Is it who he thinks it is?
Tad goes over to the hospital to see if David has any more of Emma's DNA material. David says he doesn't—and then spills the beans about Krystal's pregnancy.
Krystal having second thoughts about genetic testing, saying she loves her baby—no matter what. Would Adam? He goes off to talke a walk and think.
Jamie runs into her and is shocked to hear about Kate. Krystal suggests he ask Tad for details.
Adam returns with a stuffed animal and admits he didn't know how to respond to her question. On his walk, he remembers how pure and special Stuart is…and if their child is special, he will love him or her with all his heart.
David comes around, asking snide questions about whether Tad is aware of Krystal's pregnancy. When their obstetrician comes over, they announce their decision not to take the test. He thinks it's a bad idea, since they could identify and treat problems early. She decides to take the tests.
Tad goes over to the hospital to see if David has any more of Emma's DNA material. David says he doesn't—and then spills the beans about Krystal's pregnancy.
Jamie observes Josh kissing Julia at the beach. Josh is in a bad mood, and they bicker about who the special woman in his life is. He says it's over, but she can tell it's not and he's still in love. He comes back at her asking about Jamie. They both agree that healing will be difficult.
Jamie comes across Julia on the beach. There's definitely tension between them. She asks him if Tad is still hurting from the things he had to say in court. His new girlfriend, a blonde ditz named Linda, shows up.
