The Satin Slayer Strikes Again!

At the mental hospital, Jamie and Amanda wonder why Janet thinks Ethan's mother could be part of the plot. Jamie doesn't think anyone has even looked in to Ethan's mother because Alexander, Sr. spirited the woman away. Still, it's worth a shot. They should look into Hannah, Ethan's mother. Was Janet a help to them? Amanda tells her she was a big help. The two gather their things and get ready to leave. "I've always loved you," Janet tells Amanda. Babe is part of Amanda's family, and Janet is happy to help her, too. Before they can leave, Julia calls Jamie from the hospital, telling him about the attack on Babe. Janet tells Amanda she will pray for her friend; Amanda tells her mother she'll be back. "That's one prayer answered!"

Outside the hospital room, Zoe watches the doctors work on Babe. Josh arrives and tries to force his way inside but Jeff Martin pushes him out. Krystal and Adam arrive, asking for an update and watch the doctors work from outside the room. Krystal begins to flash back to happier times. At the hospital desk, Zoe tells Josh about JR's plan. JR told her she should have died instead of Dixie! He's also got some kind of blackmail over her, but Zoe isn't sure what it is. Moments later, JR and Tad arrive. Josh tries to confront JR, but Tad interrupts them. Adam tells JR that Babe is alive but critical and pulls him away. Bianca, Kendall and Zach arrive. Learning Zoe was there soon after the attack, Tad pulls Zoe away to ask question her. Josh goes on the attack, this time against Zach. He could have saved the women - all he had to do was leave town! "If I thought it would have made a difference I would have left," Zach says. But Josh doesn't believe it. Zach should be in that hospital room, not Babe! Zach leaves the waiting area and Josh tells Kendall she has to leave her husband. Erica arrives, thankful Kendall and Bianca are safe. Erica immediately tries to convince Kendall to leave the country - she and Bianca will come with her! Kendall interrupts. She isn't going anywhere. She's staying with Zach! Bianca tells Josh about Babe's heart problems, causing Josh even more stress. Seeing him, Adam confronts Josh. He has no reason to be there! "I would enjoy nothing more than grinding you to nothing," Adam says as Josh walks away. Jamie and Amanda arrive and JR tells his brother he thought it was a trick; Julia comes over to comfort Jamie. Zoe talks to Amanda, who is sure Babe will make it through. The two bond over their friendship with Babe.

Jeff comes out to update the crowd. They can't seem to stabilize Babe, he leaves for the cardiology lab and Josh follows. Jack arrives, along with Ryan and Aidan and Ryan immediately confronts Kendall. What has she done with Spike? Kendall assures him Spike is safe - he's guarded by a nanny and has tons of security at the casino. It isn't enough - it wasn't just Babe that was hurt. Her bodyguard was attacked as well! The news stuns Kendall. Across the room, Jack asks Zoe what Babe talked about before the paramedics took her away, but Zoe can't remember anything except Babe wanting little Adam to be protected. Josh and Jeff come back in, arguing over whether or not Josh can be in the operating room. They need to implant a pacemaker to safe Babe's life, and Jeff doesn't want Josh to be there. Erica assure Josh that Jeff will take care of Babe. The orderlies roll Babe out and Krystal kisser her, telling Babe to stay strong for little Adam. As they wheel Babe way, Josh follows. Everyone else in the waiting room settles in to wait for news. From outside the operating room, they hear Josh yelling. "You didn't have to stop! You didn't have to stop!" Jeff pushes him from the room and Josh unleashes his anger on JR. "Are you happy now? Babe is dead!"

Babe Is Attacked!

At the mental hospital, Jamie and Amanda wait to see Janet. They realize it's a long shot, but Janet may be able to help them profile the killer! Janet can't believe who she is seeing, and Amanda is obviously uncomfortable in her mother's presence. Jamie tells Janet they need her help, and Amanda fills her in on the murders. Worried, Janet asks if Amanda is in danger. She isn't, but Babe is. Janet recalls Babe being a good mother to little A and tells Amanda she is the best daughter she could have asked for - can Amanda forgive her? Amanda ignores the question, asking one of her own instead. Can Janet help them profile the Satin Slayer? Janet tells them she isn't that person anymore and she doesn't want to return to that place. Crying, Janet finally agrees to help. The killer could be like her - off medication or something. She didn't want to kill anyone, she only wanted the best for Amanda. Jamie interrupts: this killer wants to kill. He hates Zach! Janet asks how they know the killer is motivated by hate; he or she could be motivated by love, twisted though it may be. When she was killing, Janet tells them she didn't understand that people could be hurt or killed by her actions. The Satin Slayer could be the same way. He may not realize he is killing people in his quest. Janet begins talking about Ethan and her regret over killing Zach's child. It's a lightbulb moment - could Ethan's mother blame Zach for Ethan's death?

Ultimatums and Decisions

At Wildwind, Julia asks Jamie what is really on his mind. Reluctantly, he tells her what he and JR saw between Babe and Josh. Jamie doesn't know what he can do to help JR through this and wonders if Babe's actions will send him back over the edge. Julia comforts Jamie: he'll do what he can, when he can and it will be enough for his brother. The two go to bed but realize they aren't alone - Kathy is there! She's seen a monster and wants to join them. Jamie comes up with a story to fight the monster. Tennis racket in hand, Kathy and Jamie return to her room to fight the monsters! Happy, Julia watches them leave. Jamie returns and begins to make love to Julia - but once more, they aren't alone. Kathy has returned because the tennis racket only works when he is in the room! Jamie and Julia finally get to bed, with Kathy asleep between them.

More Questions Without Answers

Outside the gala, JR and Jamie watch as Babe and Josh kiss! Unable to stand another betrayal, JR begins to walk away. Jamie tells his brother he wants to help, but JR won't let him. Inside the enclosed porch, Josh tells Babe he knows this is goodbye - forever! Babe pauses at the door. She thanks him for loving and understanding her; she will never forget what he did. Josh stands quietly, watching her leave.

Meanwhile inside the gala Zach, Aidan and Ryan burst through the terrace door as the stranger approaches Kendall! Tad calls the police as the stranger says, "You're not her?" Angry, Zach asks how the stranger knew Amelia, but the man doesn't answer. They take him inside and continue shooting questions at the man, who can't answer. Derek and Jack arrive as JR comes in to the room. What are they doing with Jenkins? JR introduces them to Raymond Jenkins, his nurse! Zach remembers Jenkins from when he was a boy. The man wanted to run away with Amelia. Finally able to speak, Jenkins tells Zach he didn't hurt his mother - and he wouldn't hurt Zach, either. "I did not kill anyone!" Jenkins says. Babe arrives; JR tells her someone has been living a lie. Does she know who? Without waiting for an answer he tells her Jenkins is a suspect in the murders. As Josh enters, JR asks Jamie to take him home. Derek and Jack begin asking more questions and
Jenkins explains that he waited for Amelia that day but she never came to him. Derek and Jack take Jenkins away against Zach's wishes. He wants to question the man! Kenny steps up beside Kendall, wondering if he is finally off the hook. Befuddled by Jenkins and Kenny's question, Kendall stays quiet. The partygoers begin leaving but Ryan waits. Kendall takes her annoyance out on him, telling him to leave and take care of their son. Kendall finds Zach alone on the terrace. Seeing Jenkins has brought back memories from his childhood - arguing and fighting. It wasn't Jenkins voice he heard, though, it was his father!

Babe, JR and Jamie arrive at the Chandler manse. Babe is upset that Jenkins had access to the entire house. JR asks Jamie to leave, telling him he is in control. He won't grab a bottle or go after Babe. Alone in the room, JR flashes back to Babe kissing Josh, and a plan begins to take shape. JR tells Babe he won't tell Adam or Tad about Krystal's baby. The news would break Adam's heart and destroy his marriage. Tad has his hands full looking for Kate. It will be better all around if he just keeps quiet. There is only one way he'll tell Adam and Tad the truth, and it's entirely up to Babe! Confused, Babe isn't sure how to react. JR begins writing down instructions: either Babe signs away custody of little Adam or JR blows the whistle on Krystal's secret!

Aidan, Amanda, Di, Dell and Jonathan arrive back at Wildwind, certain that Jenkins is the culprit. Aidan tries to be the voice of reason, but they won't listen. More upset than ever, Di leaves the room. Julia comes in and Aidan explains nothing that has been done to the other women can be traced back to Jenkins. Jamie arrives and Jonathan explodes. If nothing can be traced to Jenkins, how will they bring him to justice? Jamie and Aidan are alone in their belief that Jenkins could be innocent - the man looked upset at the party, not murderous. Di returns and asks them about David Hayward. There is nothing new on the doctor. Unable to come up with answers, the group disperses, leaving Jamie and Julia alone. Rather that telling her about what he and JR saw, Jamie kisses Julia passionately!

It's Party Time!

At Wildwind, Dell, Di and Aidan get ready for the party. Julia and Amanda want to go to. Jamie enters - telling Julia she isn't invited! Kathy needs Julia to stay home; she can't lose another mother so quickly. Kathy comes in with a broken doll. Her mom could have fixed it but now no one can! Jamie talks to the little girl about Dixie. He will never have another of Dixie's chocolate chip cookies, but he has Julia and she makes great sugar cookies. Maybe Kathy could give Julia a chance to fix her doll? The little girl agrees and Jamie leaves them alone. In the hall, Jonathan arrives. He is going to the party, too!
