Kendall is Kidnapped!

At the Vegas hotel, Ryan and Tad confront the guards who tell them the last time they saw Kendall, she was inside! The guard tells them about the phone call and Kendall wanting to leave but assures Ryan that they didn't let her go. At the balcony, Aidan realizes she may have left that way after the call. The hotel manager arrives and Tad asks if they have surveillance video for the premises. Aidan plays the part of a gangster, telling the manager that if he doesn't help, he would hate to see what Zach will do to him. The manager takes Ryan and Tad to see the video, which shows Kendall leaving and getting into a cab. Ryan calls the company to find out where the cab dropped her off.

At the warehouse, Alexander tells Kendall if she doesn't go along with his plan, he will kill Zach. "It's your choice, Kendall," he says. Alexander cocks the pistol and Kendall agrees to do what he wants. She leans down to tell Zach's unconscious form that she loves him. "Always, only you," she whispers. She kisses him. Zach dreams that he wakes up, alone, in the warehouse with an image of Amelia talking to him. She tells him that he didn't hurt her. "All you ever did was love me," she says. A bright, white light blinds Zach for a moment and Alexander's voice says, "You won't win," as Amelia disappears. Zach dreams that gardenias are falling over his body as Tad, Ryan and the crew arrive. Ryan tells him about the phone call and Zach tries to stand. "He's got her," he exclaims. Searching the warehouse, Aidan finds the Amelia lookalike, dead, behind a box! Zach tells them what he knows, which isn't much and the men turn on him. They wonder how long he has known Alexander was the killer, and ask why he was trying to play hero alone! Aidan finds a note from Alexander, telling them that Kendall chose to save Zach instead of her own life! Tad sends JR and Jamie to the hotel to find out about recent real estate purchases. There, Jamie finds several property purchases, but JR has a better idea. They need to find out about sub-corporations that have made purchases because that is what he and Adam would do if they wanted to keep things quiet! Meanwhile, Zach and Ryan head for the Vegas hospital. They find the nurse who worked on Alexander. "You're going to tell me how he faked his death," Zach says! When the nurse tries to play dumb, Zach tells her that Alexander is on a killing spree and she needs to come clean - now! "If you don't start talking, the next one dead is going to be you," Zach says. Tad and Aidan trace Kendall's cell phone to an alley and find a prostitute using it. She tells them the phone was tossed from a car a few blocks away.

All Roads Lead To Vegas!

On a private plane, Tad argues with JR over whether or not he should go to Vegas. Ryan, Jamie and Aidan leave the decision up to Tad when JR insists he can take care of himself. Ryan tells the guys that the button was made on a special order 10 years before. It has to be from Alexander but Ryan is still confused as to why he would be terrorizing Zach. Since he met Alexander in the desert and Zach was questioning him about Vegas, Ryan believes they need to get to Vegas quickly. Jack calls Tad, telling him about the new note from the killer. Concerned, Tad hangs up and tells Ryan and the others about it. Tad believes Zach and Kendall have walked into a trap! As the plane takes flight, JR pulls a picture of Babe from his wallet, remembering the good times with her. As JR remembers Babe, Jamie watches Tad, vowing to make things right for his father. The killer took his mother and Jamie is going to enjoy taking his life in return! Ryan calls Annie to check on her and she assures him everything is fine there. He hangs up, wondering why Alexander killed his sister and vowing to keep Alexander away from Kendall. Across the plane, Aidan vows the same thing. Tad can't get Dixie off his mind. "He'll pay for taking your life, Dixie," he tells her. Derek calls Tad and tells him about the button. Tad tries to play dumb but Derek doesn't buy it. He tells Tad about the DNA match. "Start talking," Derek says. Tad pretends the phone is losing service and hangs up. He tells the others they don't have much time - the police are right behind them! They arrive in Vegas and head to the hotel but the guards won't let them into Kendall and Zach's room. Ryan and Tad pretend to leave and then bust into the room - but Kendall is gone!

Setting A Trap

At his office, Tad calls the postal service to try to find Hannah Nichols but doesn't have any luck. Aidan comes in, angry that Tad isn't more serious about a phone call he wanted investigated. He believes they are wasting too much time on Hannah. They argue and Jamie separates them! Tad erupts in anger, because things are moving too slowly. Aidan, angry that Tad confronted him, tells him to back off. JR comes in, listening to the argument. Tad breaks down, believing he let Dixie down by letting her die. "You never let her down," JR says from the door. The room gets quiet and Aidan breaks the silence, telling them it is time to get to work. JR wants to help and Tad isn't thrilled with the idea. He believes JR is still too weak. JR disagrees; even though he just got rid of the cane, he can make calls and do some of the phone work. Seeing he won't give up, Tad gives in. "Don't just sit there, get on it," Tad says. JR believes some of his friends from AA may be able to help them track down any V-Tach that may still be out there. Ryan arrives and shows them the button. "Gentlemen, we know who the killer is," he says.

Angry and Confused

At Wildwind Di, Dell and Aidan prepare for guests. Aidan puts his arms around Di, asking how she is. "I've had better days," she says. Amanda and Jonathan are setting out food and she asks if he still expects to see Erin. Every day, he tells her. Tad arrives and Di snags his attention. She hugs him as Kathy comes in the room, excited to see him. Tad plays with the little girl, swinging her around the room. Julia tries to take Kathy away, sure that Tad would rather talk with Di or someone. Kathy surprises both of them by saying, "Emma has her new daddy, and Tad is my new daddy!" Julia apologizes to Tad, who tells her not to worry about it. He is honored that Kathy thinks of him as a father figure. Bianca and Zoe arrive, and Amanda steps forward to welcome them both. Dell can't believe Zoe is there and offers her a shot of whiskey. Instead, Zoe asks for a margarita and Amanda gives her a drink. Amanda confronts Dell who doesn't think that he did anything wrong. Emma and Kathy are curious about Zoe, but welcoming. Jamie thanks Zoe and Bianca for coming, and Zoe tells Bianca she needs to leave. It is too difficult being there. Tad pulls Aidan into the hall to see if there is any progress in the search for Hannah. So far, Aidan hasn't been able to find any trace of the woman.

An Emotional Day

At Wildwind, Jonathan is excited to learn that Emma is his niece and thinks it is wonderful that Annie and Ryan are getting together. The thought makes Annie nervous and she tries to explain that they aren't together. She does admit that she is falling for Ryan, but she doesn't think Ryan feels the same. Emma interrupts them and Jonathan asks her to call him 'Uncle Jonathan'. Downstairs, the rest of the Wildwind residents prepare for Dixie and Babe's funerals. Janet arrives, surprising Amanda, who immediately calls the hospital thinking she has broken out. Dell, Di and Aidan react angrily to her appearance as a man named Oliver joins Janet. She explains that she is on a day pass, approved by her doctors. She wants to attend the funerals to support Amanda! Dell can't believe what he is hearing, but Oliver tells them Janet is telling the truth. He is there to watch over her, but she has been released for the day. Dell tells her to leave, but Jonathan interrupts. "Welcome back, Janet," he says. Sitting with Janet, Jonathan explains to her that the people in Pine Valley will need time to come to terms with her being better. Janet leaves, not wanting to upset anyone any more than they already are. Amanda promises Janet that she will come to visit. As Janet leaves to return to the hospital, the rest of the crowd leaves for the cemetery.

At the cemetery, Ryan shows Jack the most recent note from the killer, wondering why the killer has chosen to communicate with him. Jack doesn't have any answers. He surprises Ryan with his next words. "I've heard from Greenlee!" She contacted Jack after hearing about the killings. Hearing from Greenlee has made Jack realize all he has to lose and he swears to help protect Kendall. Tad and Derek arrive as flower delivery men bring in gardenias and white ribbons! Derek takes the flowers away as the guests begin arriving. Amanda stands over Babe's coffin with Jonathan and Aidan. Bianca hugs Tad and then moves to comfort Krystal. Palmer and Opal make a beeline for Dixie's casket. Myrtle and Dr. Joe Martin arrive and speak with Zach. When Zoe arrives, the gathered crowd turns to watch. Erica arrives with Jeff, causing Jack to look twice. Zach remains near the entrance, almost as if he is standing guard. Adam opens the floor for others to talk about Babe and Dixie. Bianca steps up, telling them that she had forgiven Babe for taking Miranda and that she wished Babe could know. Tad remembers the first time he met Dixie at Myrtle's store. After being so strong, Tad breaks down a little. "I could see my future," he says, crying. "I could see our future." Jamie comes up, to lead Tad back to his seat. Di steps up, saying "I'm going to miss her every day of my life!" In tears, Krystal throws herself on top of Babe's casket. Adam and Colby quickly lead her back to her seat. Zoe stands up and begins to sing, "You Lift Me Up". She continues to sing as the rest of Pine Valley file by the caskets. Finally stepping forward, JR reaches out to touch Babe's casket and begins to cry.

Happy Valentine's Day!

At Wildwind, Jonathan finds Amanda in the barn and covers her with a blanket. He tells Amanda he won't leave her alone, just like she didn't leave him alone with Erin died. "I'm not about to let you push me away," he says. Amanda lays her head on his shoulder. Inside, Julia pushes Jamie from the main room. She finishes up a few decorations and then asks him in. The room has been transformed into a Valentine's Wonderland for Kathy and the rest of the Wildwind crew. With all they have lost recently, it will be a nice break. Jamie is trying to deal with Babe's death and with Dixie's, but he isn't sure how to do that. "Do you think you were wrong?" Julia asks, when Jamie brings up his feelings about Babe and JR. Jamie says yes, he wanted to protect JR from being hurt, but you can't insulate people from being hurt. Kathy comes in with Amanda and Jonathan. Annie, Emma, Ryan and Spike arrive a few minutes later. It's time for a party! Ryan invites Annie to come and explore the property with him. In the stables, Ryan kisses her passionately and Annie returns the kiss. They frantically begin to undress one another! They make love and realize nothing will be the same between them again. Back inside the main house, Jonathan and Amanda help Kathy create a Valentine costume. Tad arrives to see Jamie. "I came here to find my son and found two new sweethearts instead," he says. Julie helps the girls make cards. "Can we send them to heaven?" Kathy asks. Everyone begins making valentines for lost loved ones. Di, Dell and Tad make cards for Dixie, Aidan makes a card for his family, Amanda creates a card for Babe. They attach the valentines to ballons, go outside and release them. Jamie brings Kathy to Tad, who picks the little girl up while she watches the balloons rise into the sky.

Bye-bye, Babe!

At the hospital, Krystal breaks down when Jeff tells her Babe is gone. She asks Adam and then JR to fix this, to bring Babe back, but neither can do anything. Adam asks for a sedative but Jeff won't give her anything because of the pregnancy. Tad comes over to help Adam with Krystal. "I understand what it means to have your heart ripped out," he tells her. Krystal turns to Adam who holds her close. JR watches them, obviously torn up over Babe's death and struggling over what to do about Krystal's secret. Julia comes to take Krystal away. Jamie goes to JR, asking him to say something - anything! Does he want to see Babe? Jamie asks when JR turns away. JR's wanting to leave angers Josh, who sees it as another betrayal of Babe. Erica tries to calm Josh, asking him to go home with her, Bianca and Kendall. This only makes him more angry as he doesn't believe any of them are upset over Babe's death. "I am done with this whole damn town," he yells and leaves the room. Erica follows him. Across the room, Ryan confronts Kendall about her safety. He believes she is the only target left for the killer. "Ryan, stop trying to scare me, please!" she says. Ryan doesn't give up, he tells Kendall she can stand by Zach but if she does, she better leave Spike with him!

At the Chandler mansion, JR tells Jamie he won't hit the bottle and he wants to be alone but Jamie won't leave him. Instead, Jamie asks what happened after the gala and JR tells him about confronting Babe and how she turned the tables on him. He tells Jamie that Babe wanted to handle things civilly, but he was too angry and he wanted to hurt her too much to listen to her. Remorseful over the things he said, JR tells Jamie the secret he was holding over her head doesn't matter anymore. JR picks up a container of scotch and hurls it across the room. "He took everything!" JR yells. Picking up a picture of Babe and little A, he tells Jamie that he never wanted Babe to die. Adam and Krystal arrive and Krystal and JR hug, each looking lost. Adam hugs JR, too, and asks how he is. "Hanging in," JR tells him. Jamie tells Krystal how sorry he is. Krystal picks up one of little Adam's toys, and decides to stop in to see him before going to bed. Before leaving the room she tells JR how happy Babe was that they were working their way back to one another. Julia calls Jamie, asking him if there is anything she can do, but there is nothing. Seeing JR staring out the window, Jamie goes to him. "Is this real," JR asks, not believing Babe could really be dead. "I'm sorry, JR, it's real," Jamie tells him. Jamie reaches out to JR, but can't console him.
