Love Is In The Air

At Wildwind, Annie turns from Ryan, telling him to leave her alone and refusing to look at him! He finally leaves and from outside the door, Ryan begs to be let back inside. Annie doesn't budge, though and asks him to get Julia! Downstairs, Julia is preparing for a board meeting at the hospital as Amanda, Del, Di and the others prepare for a game of poker. Ryan comes in, pulling Julia away. He asks her to go upstairs to Annie. Jonathan comes over, asking what happened with Annie. "I blew it and I don't know how," Ryan says. Di comes over, telling Ryan that Annie needs the total package and Del, Jamie and Amanda wonder what's up. Telling them that Annie booted Ryan out, they come up with romantic alternatives to the dusty-stable proposal. Back upstairs, Annie lets Julia in asking, "Is this what I think it is?" Julia takes her fever and assures her its official - she has chicken pox! When Julia prepares to leave, Annie gives her one more request - send Ryan home! Julia comes back, asking who has had chicken pox and Ryan realizes the truth. He heads back upstairs and when Annie still won't let him in, he picks the lock and goes in anyway! Annie hides her face under the comforter as Ryan talks to her. He reaches for the comforter and pulls it away from her so he can see her face. He kisses her! The poker game gets underway in the downstairs parlor and the group tries to get Julia away from her work, but they can't. Lily arrives, asking Aidan if he'll help her with a blackmail scheme against Barbara! "I want Barbara to leave right now," she says, upset that Barbara's appearance has upset the balance of her home. Aidan declines, and Lily begins to think of other options. Game interrupted, the players have all turned to other pursuits. Jamie tries to distract Julia, but she is focused on work. Amanda brings Jonathan a drink to Jonathan, realizing there are still feelings between Jonathan and Lily. Amanda is understanding about Lily and the fact that he is going to leave ConFusion. She deals the cards and the two play another game.

Love and Revenge Are In The Air

At Wildwind, Tad breaks the baby news to Jamie and Julia. Jamie is shocked, not only at the baby news but that JR didn't tell them the truth when he knew. Grabbing a jacket, he leaves the house. Tad tries to follow but Julia stops him. "Do you want this baby?" she asks. Tad sits down, unsure of how to feel about Charlotte and how that relates to the search for Kate. He is also confused about how Krystal could choose Adam over her own child! Julia tells him that unexpected children can be a blessing. Tad is still grappling with the fact that Krystal lied to him over and over, and that she would have allowed Adam to mess up another child. "You have a vote now. What are you going to do with it?" Julia asks. Tad wonders how he can get his daughter out of the Chandler mansion!

At the Chandler mansion, JR watches Babe sleep. He leans over her and softly kisses her cheek, waking her up. Babe reacts with anger. She doesn't want JR's kisses or his friendship - she wants a divorce! JR calmly tries to make her see that they can still be a family. Babe asks him to leave go so she can dress and check on Krystal. JR gives Babe a list of attorneys without ties to Chandler Enterprises, his father or himself. Babe isn't sure what to think about the offer, but JR assures her there are no strings. He wants the best for Babe and her mother. He hopes that the offer may help Babe forgive him. Thinking about his situation, JR tells her that he is okay with Adam being unforgiving, but he hopes that Tad can forgive his actions. "I never will," says Jamie from the doorway!

Downstairs, Jamie angrily asks JR how he could have kept the truth from Tad. JR gets just as angry, telling Jamie that he has no place talking about how wrong it is to steal babies! Babe comes in, interrupting them. Jamie hugs her and asks if she is going to stay married to JR. Babe says no and Jamie offers his help in the divorce proceedings. Annoyed that everyone is coming down on him and forgetting Babe and Krystal's part in the plan, JR asks what the difference is. Adam comes in, calling Jamie the baby-stealing son of an adulterer. Babe asks where Krystal is and hurries from the room when Adam says he left her dead on the floor. Upstairs, she finds Krystal in Adam's room and tells her it's time to leave. For Charlotte's sake! "Adam is my life. You and Charlotte and Adam, I don't work without any of you," Krystal says, refusing to leave. She blames herself for the way Adam is acting, and even believes that he is right to lash out because of her behavior. Krystal suggests that Babe leave to finish her recovery in peace but Babe won't leave without her mother and her son. Stuart arrives, happy to see Babe. He turns to Krystal. "I think my brother may be broken for good," Stuart says, unable to understand how he could help his brother this time around. Krystal and Babe go back downstairs to face Adam together but as they come to the parlor, several police officers arrive. They arrest Krystal and Babe as Adam looks on!

It's Over!

At the Vegas police department, Derek and Jack work on extradition, but Alexander isn't done with them. He tells Tad and JR that things aren't nearly over! Taunting the men, Alexander calls them buffoons. He knows he will always have their attention - which is exactly what he always wanted. "You've made me immortal," he says. JR tries to attack Alex, but Tad grabs him and with Jamie's help holds him back. Derek promises Alexander that they may never forget him but he will never see freedom again. "You might as well not exist," Tad tells Alexander, promising that he will never matter to anyone again! Derek leaves to finish the extradition papers. Tad, JR and Jamie talk about Dixie and Babe, wondering how this spring would be different and the same from all of the springs in their pasts. Papers ready, they leave Las Vegas. Back in Pine Valley, Tad visits Dixie's grave.

At Wildwind, Jamie calls Julia to tell her they are coming home - everything is fine! Emma, sitting with Annie, is excited that she will see Ryan again. Kathy is just as excited that her daddy, Tad, is headed home. Julia takes Kathy in her arms, trying to explain that Tad is her friend - not her father! Broadway performers Josh Strickland and Ashley Brown arrive. Ryan sent them to pick up the kids and take them to a matinee! Alone again, Di and Julia sing Ryan's praises to Annie. Julia asks about Jonathan, but he is nowhere to be found. Annie leaves and finds Jonathan at the cemetary. He can't control his feelings and doesn't know how to react to the news of the Slayer's capture. Annie comforts Jonathan, telling him that whatever he feels is okay. Turning to her, Jonathan tells her that without her help after Erin's death he would have lost it again. Touched, Annie offers her friendship to him. Jonathan tells her she would make a better sister-in-law but Annie balks at the thought. Back at Wildwind, Aidan and Jamie arrive as Annie brings Jonathan back to the house. A few minutes later, Ryan arrives and pulls Annie outside to talk. He gets down on one knee - and proposes!

Caught In The Crossfire

At the computer store, Ryan and Tad are interrupted by a worker. He doesn't want them using the computers - he wants them to buy them! Ryan agrees to buy the whole inventory as long as the worker tells them about Red Rock! At the Vegas hotel, Aidan, JR and Jamie learn more about the area and locate Alexander's property. Tad calls and they fill him in. Tad and Ryan and Jamie, JR and Aidan head for Red Rock!

At the replica mansion, Alexander's gun goes off as he fights with Zach but neither man is hurt! Zach manages to get the V-Tach device away from Alexander but he manages to keep gun! Alex shoots Zach but Zach keeps the device activated. When Alexander begins working on Zach's mind again, Kendall tries to convince him that he isn't to blame and yells, "No!" when Zach volunteers his life for hers. Seeing that Alexander isn't giving in, Zach asks what he really wants. Alexander tells them he wants an heir. Ryan is a good choice, he thinks, but only because Ryan can lead him to the person he really wants to carry on the Cambias name: Spike! Because of Kendall's strength, Alexander wants to raise Spike as his own son! "You stay the hell away from my son," Kendall says. Alexander orders Zach to kneel, and slowly turns the gun on Kendall. As he turns, Zach pulls a knife from his boot and throws it at Alexander, cutting his arm deeply! Hurrying, he gets the needle away from Kendall's throat as Alexander reaches for the gun again. Zach stops him and wrestles him inside. "You killed Erin. You killed Simone. You killed Dixie, you killed my mom. Now I'm gonna kill you!" he says. Kendall cries for Zach to come back, but he is too enraged to hear her. Tad and Ryan arrive and Tad pulls Zach off of Alexander, trying to convince Zach that his life is worth more than Alexander's. Tad finally begins to calm him. Jamie, Aidan and JR arrive and head into the main room. Tad promises that Alexander will be punished. Outside, Kendall tells Ryan about Alexander's threats to Spike. Ryan heads straight for Alexander, telling him that if he ever goes near Spike, Ryan will kill him. JR approaches Alexander, angry and wanting to know what Babe's last moments were like. He doesn't answer. Zach comes in and takes Kendall in his arms, as Tad leads Alexander away.

And The Truth Will Set You Free!

At the Vegas hotel, Aidan, Jamie and JR wonder what is keeping Tad - he should be back by now! Two men in waiters uniforms arrive and JR lets them in. Instead of food, they have guns! Before they can pull the weapons out, Aidan and Jamie attack and knock them out! Aidan believes the goons were sent by Alexander. He shoots at one man, intentionally missing, and tells him that if he doesn't talk he will be dead. The hitmen try to bluff, but it's three against two and they are tied up! Jamie asks for Alexander's email address, realizing that tracing their online activities is likely how the hit men found them. One of the good squad hand over the address, confident that they won't be able to trace it. While Aidan and JR tie the men up and hide them in a closet, Jamie goes to work tracing the email. After a few minutes, he traces the account to a site that has the layout of the Cambias mansion - or at least a replica that is only 20 miles away!

Alexander Ups The Ante

In the Vegas hotel, JR wonders what Erica's call was really about. Why won't she leave his family alone? Jamie tells him to forget it as Tad arrives, telling them about the cell phone. He tells them Aidan has gone to one of Zach's old casinos to look around. Jamie fills him in on the recent purchases they have managed to find. One looks promising. There was one piece of property purchased the same week that Zach's father died, and the purchasing company is called "New Birth" in Latin. There isn't enough information to make sure that Alexander purchased it, though. Feeling defeated, JR wonders if there is anything they can do for Dixie and Babe. Will they ever be able to make Alexander pay? "If I could just have one more chance. . ." he says. Guilt is eating him alive. JR can't understand why he did what he did, why he is always the first to react badly to the people around him. If he had just listened to Babe, he wonders, would things have been different? Tad tries to make JR understand that it wasn't all his fault. Crying, JR thinks about just hugging Babe one more time. Aidan returns but he didn't find anything at the other casino. Tad worries that time is running out - for Ryan, Zach and Kendall!
