We all know that Pine Valley is just an ordinary small town. But in recent years, it has grow into a very big city and we don't have a reason why.

So that brings me to ask you a very particular question.

Is the fictional town of Pine Valley supposed to be a suburb of Philadelphia?

For some reason I would think it would be closer to New York City..it seems they have said that the city is about an hour away....fictional or not...there should be a Pine Valley after all for Erica and her daughter Kendall so they can take care of everyone's business...THE HUB FOR MEDDLING

I believe Pine Valley is in New York and not far from NYC! If I remember correctly, Billy Clyde Tuggle and Estelle made friends with Donna when she was prostituting in NYC and then followed Donna back to PV later. I believe the two places are just a short train ride apart.

Lately, though, I could swear Pine Valley is somewhere in outer space! People have just disappeared off the face of the earth (and from PV) during the past couple of years without any explanation!!

I think so. I always thought it was some made up town (fictional though) in upstate New York, but I have seen several license plates on vehicles in AMC that say PA. So yeah, I take it it's PA.

I always thought Pine Valley was a fictional town in New York and Llanview (OLTL) was a fictional town in Pennsylvania. Not absolutely sure, though. I do know that Llanview (OLTL) is in Pennsylvania though.

Occasionally a character will mention it's in Pennsylvania, and sometimes a character will receive a letter and the address is Pine Valley, PA.
