Im a huge amc fan greens and aiden particularly.I read online spumors ans rumors and the mags.And i know soaps in general aren't performing well in the nielsens.But i never hear brian frons or anybody from abc say if numbers dont improve were going to cancel the soaps.I guess abc loves there soaps and i love amc

No, I don't think AMC is going to get canceled right now, but the ratings better improve, and in a hurry, or there just might be some talk about being canceled down the line.

I highly doubt it. Its not at the bottom and the ratings are not that far from it being 3rd or 4th.

If the show doesn't start focusing on characters other than Kendall, Greenlee and Ryan, I think it is inevitable that it will eventually be cancelled. The more focus that is put on these few characters, the more they are hated and the more people are turning their back on the show.

As a person who has watched AMC since its very first air date, it makes me sick to see what has happened to my once favorite soap. They have taken 4-5 characters (and we ALL know who they are) and focused the entire show on them. There are so many talented actors on AMC, yet we never get to see them because the show INSISTS (or at least Mr. Frons does) on focusing on the same characters constantly. These are NOT characters who can truly carry a storyline, nor or the storylines even worth carrying. The ratings have been dismal, at best, since AMC has focused on these same characters which one would think would "wake up" some of the ABC brass and make them realize that fans DO NOT want a steady diet of them every single day.

As a fan, I personally am sick of seeing and trying to digest "oatmeal" every day when I really crave and want to sink my teeth into a "thick juicy steak."

As the old commercial said ..... Where's the Beef??????
