From my observations of RPG & BE, there is ALREADY undeniable CHEMISTRY...I often wonder, if there isn't
an offscreen affair going on! I mean come on, EVERYTIME 'Taylor' enters a scene with 'JAKE', RPG M-E-L-T-S!!!

You are totally right! Chemistry is there! Amanda is great fun but not for Jake. The writers should not rush it but that is the direction it must go. "It cannot be denied!"

No matter who Amanda goes after, she always seems too desperate,. why do they have her like that, the character has alot to offer w/out her acting desperate.

I like Jake and Taylor. WHY some of you ask? Because Taylor is mature and can carry on a conversation whereas Amanda is a bimbo and would fall to pieces if she breaks a nail and acts like she has the IQ of a 10 year old. Jake needs someone with a brain, not someone who can apply eyeshadow.

Amanda is a twit - she referred to his time in Darfur as an African adventure like he was on a safari . Jake should be with someone with depth and someone he shares a connection with. That person is Taylor.

Like I said that was another soap another time!! + i really dont find that actress atractive. Even with make up on and her hair done + the dress was so not good for her, looks like she had big hips ! But I know that she probabely give trouble to amanda and Jake storyline but I really like to
see Amanda and jake together !


It doesn't matter if it was another soap or not. They act really well together. Thats my opinion.Who says you need to have "the cute" look to be pretty? BE is very pretty. Big hips... please. She's like a size 4. You don't need to be "drop dead gorgeous" to have a great looking man like Jake. Maybe they don't want to portray him as a "bimbo" liking kind of guy. He might like a girl who can take care of herself and not "need" a man to take care of her. That's the way they are portraying Amanda. IMO So for me, Go Jake and Taylor!

I concur.

Amanda comes off as too desperate and needy. I also read the spoilers, and it said that Jake realizes Amanda is fun, but he can't get his mind of Taylor.

I honestly believe, if given the chance Taylor and Jake would be a great couple. I have been a fan of
AMC for years, however, I had stopped watching for awhile until I heard that BE and RPG were coming to the show. For months I waited for GL to reunite the couple and was enthused when I thought AMC was doing it. I think if they had more screentime together the chemistry would be more evident to the AMC viewers. Their chemistry isn't something that has to be written, it just is there. Think about this, if you go to list of shows at the top of the page and go to Guiding Light, the only picture you see is Gus and Harley...and they have been gone for months...not to mention had not been together on the show in over a year...

I'm still going w/Amanda. She annoys me sometimes but she's got potential. I'd like to see her get the guy for once. With that said, I wouldn't be broken-hearted if Jake is meant to be paired w/Taylor.
