The actress playing Emma is a breath of fresh air. She's animated and can talk. The little guy playing little Adam never looks happy, even when Babe or JR are describing him as being so happy. He must be related to the head writer to have kept him around for so long. He makes ME unhappy just watching him.

I was just thinking the same thing today. When all those children were gathered around Adam and Krystal smiling and laughing, there sat Little A, somber as ever. Emma and Miranda are charmers, even baby Spike has a personality. With all of the smiles and giggles that come from Babe directed at him, you'd think he'd at least crack one of his own. I'm sure they keep the little guy cuz he is so quiet and good, but a new kid with some personality would be nice to see. Also, he seems a lot younger than Miranda and they are supposed to be the same age?

i was thinking the same thing. They were born on the same day. She seems to be about 4 now, and he seems to be about 1 1/2. We've yet to see him walk, stand or even talk. Miranda on the other hand has been doing both since last summer when they came for a visit. She and Emma seem to be closer to the same age.

They keep reminding us how Babe Stole Maranda, but they seem to have aged her and not him. Also on that note, Babe keeps taking the blame for that, are we supposed to forget it was Paul Krammer who actually stole Little A and told Babe she had a girl. Then when JR found out, he wouldn't tell anyone either. Why does Babe get all the blame????

:D I know...I'm sick of that. If Binx can get past it, why can't everyone else?

I hope they change the child as well. He acts like he's a sad puppy all the time.

I've said it before, even Little "A" doesn't want to beassociated with the family he's stuck with!!! The part where they mentioned that Little A wanted to come down & see the Christmas Tree, he looked very unimpressed. He's not a very happy child. By far, my money is on Emma, & Miranda. The cutest part was yesterday when Emma was standing next to Krystal and she was busy scratching her bottom side as she was speaking, it was so adorable!!!

I could not agree anymore. Everytime they show little Adam he is the most plain/boring child I've ever seen. The other day when he was with Stuart you could hear him laughing in the hallways, and I do remember him laughing with Stuart in the back but how horrible was it to watch him with all those kids yesterday in the Miranda Center during the Santa visit...It's so funny cuz the actors keep saying he's smiling, but he is not smiling at all. But then again, can you blame him? For all we know he might just be a very gifted young actor and realize that his parents are crazy freaks. I think we would have nothing to smile for also if our Dad tried to drug our Mom, marry her just to get custody, and a couple years later try to kill her. Or, if our Mom told our Dad we were dead and ran away with our Uncle, and then cheated again? DRAMA...poor little A!

Maybe the casting director was looking for a kid who didn't smile because they are trying to show how the tension between Babe and JR is affecting him.

Hey guys, we have an improvement on the Little A issue... On yesterday's episode, when JR asked Little A what he wanted for Christmas he actually said a sword! Wow the child speaks!! I still think they need to get a different little boy to do this role.

I am not completely positive, but I believe Little Adam is played by identical twins. One twin is very quiet and shy. The other twin is a ball of fun. He is the one you hear laughing. He especially seems to enjoy Stuart (and Adam) because of his silliness. I think they have to play the role equal amounts of time, and the Christmas episodes have had the shy twin. I'm the mother of identical twins, and I can attest that one twin often is the outgoing while the other lets his twin do the talking for him.

The little girls playing Emma and Miranda are a breath of fresh air. But Little A -- is a sourpuss -- must be related to some one on the show that they keep this "mo-mo" boy on camera.
