Wonder why they did away with the previews at the end of the show? My friend thinks it is because the show could be cancelled any day since it is so boring.

This has been discussed a number of times - other websites have reported ABC eliminated the previews for all of its soaps to cut production costs. They are doing "cross-promotions" - you get an AMC preview at the end of GH.

Also, the new head writer started working on June 23. We still have not seen any of his work yet.

I agree with what you said but at the sametime i have to work and i dont watch gh. They need to just bring them back so that i coulod set my dvr again.

I really miss those previews, too - I don't tape GH that often.

I don't like it either but if it means keeping it on the air then they have to what they have to do. It has been so much better Lately that I thought the new writer had already started.

the new writer took over a little over a month ago ... his episodes are just beginning to air.

we've heard nothing official or unofficial about AMC being canceled. And, it's just my opinion, but if the show was in danger of being canceled, i don't think they would shell out the bookoo bucks they did to get the new writer, Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) and Beth Ehlers (she starts playing Taylor next month) ... to bring back Petey, get a nuColby, etc, etc, etc.
