I just have to say; I love the new Babe. I do miss Alexia, but Amanda really is doing a great job. Her and Jacob are so natural with each other.

I was reading an article in readers digest that Amanda Baker did about playing Babe. She was saying that working with Jacob (JR) makes it easy. He always helps her with the lines and getting the feelings just right between the couple.

She was asked if she was nervous filling the shoes of the actress who started Babe. She said of course she was. Alexia is a great actress, but she knew she would do her best to keep the role "Babe"

She said also that Jacob (JR) shared with her that when they are doing their scenes together (love or not so loving)he thinks of a relationship with a woman that he loves very much and was very important, but also at the same time very hard. He drives his feelings from that into his acting. He told her that bringing your real life problems into a scene is the way to go, if it relates to the situation and helps get the emotion across to the fans. She said that really helps when working with him.

She is also very close to a few girls on set, like Chrishell (Amanda) and Melissa (Annie). She said she loves their company and they have a great time together on and off set. They all play jokes on each other and Michael(Tad) Thoryston (Zach),Jacob (JR) and Ricky Paul (Jake) are the biggest jokers. Usually they walk down the halls lip singing; to other cast mates, the songs that are played over the loud speakers.

wow this is a long post! didn’t mean that. Its a cute article. If you want to read it all you should pick up the readers digest.

They really are sweet! There is a post over on Jacobs fan board that says he is attending Amanda Bakers Fan club lunch. I hope they will be supporting JR and Babe! That article sounds great. It seems to coincide with what is posted over on JYs board. They must all be great friends.

I am really getting used to this Babe. shes doing a great job! I hope to see her and JR make ammends and get back on track.

Also very sweet that they laugh and joke around. Its cool that Jacob has helped Amanda so much with secrets on his acting

I like the actress..but she just isn't growing on me as Babe.

I like the new actress too,but I have to get used to her. I do miss the old Babe.

the new actress is good but not true to the character. without the sassy southern persona she doesn't fit with her "mama" Krystal anymore.

I like her. She's a Cutie. Plus she looks sooo good with J.R. I LOVE the whole BLONDE-THING they have, lol. So yeah I like her. Just wish she would demand to be called "Arabella" Much more grown up name. But she gets two manicured thumbs up from this Dark-Eyed-Chick

u know i hated the new babe when she first came but now im alright with her, im just glad shes not trying to hard to be like alexas old character. She took babe and made her into an entire different person. noone can replace the old babe tho. Alexa was the most beautiful person on the show then

I completely disagree. She is not Babe. The girl herself isnt bad, but she is not Babe. I agree with the poster above, she does not have the same southern style and does not fit the role

i have to say this babe although she is a wonderful actresss just never fills babes shoes for me. im actually finding myself always trying to see her fittin in the situations with all of them still. i donot see any chemestry with her and jr, or krystal and i definatly donot see her as a motherly figure at all. sorry just sayin. she is more business like in my opinion. she may be great in another role but this one is just not happenin, sorry jmo. im still not buyin!!

I still don't like her as Babe, which is one of the reasons why I hardly ever watch this show anymore. All of the storylines that JR and Babe have been given would've been awesome with Alexia, but with this actress, I just can't get into them. Why couldn't we have JR and Babe together like this when Alexia was around? It's a shame.
