Another thread I DEEPLY esteem and completely concur with! Cannot stand the character "Greenlee" ~ I don't wanna repeat myself, (referring to a former thread in which I VERY descriptively expressed my every thought of her!) However I will say, that before "The Real Greenlee" debacle, last Jan. I was more indifferent then anything. I thought Sabine, the actress, was a living doll, and I could watch her scenes as Greenlee, without getting irratated, pi$$ed, (etc.).. I cannot do that now. I think the character of Greenlee is dreadful, in every possible way. She, and one other ABC daytime actress/character, are to me, the most hateful things to infest my television screen each day. I know this is a highly unlikely scenario, (but then again, with soaps, I reckon anything is possible) IF they absolutely HAD to bring back the first Greenlee's portrayer, for whatever reason they felt necessary, ultimately, and unfortunately, that is up to tiic. However, it would have been great, IMO, to have been able to keep Sabine around as well. However they would have worked it out would've been fine. Had tiic even considered that, PERHAPS, (big fat perhaps, btw! ) the show would have, (if only a few) more viewers. Pleasing Sabine and Rebecca fans both. Personally I preference Sabine myself. A great deal of that has to do with the way Rebeccas "Greenlee" is. Hopefully, the new writers will redeem her, or at least attempt to.

i couldnt DISAGREE more...i never used to watch AMC and the thing that pulled me in was rebecca...Not only do i think she is beautiful but an amazing actress to boot. She is the reason i started watching AMC and the reason i continue to do so. I never thought Sabine fit the role at all.

i actually like them both, i have been watching since the 70's, have to say i like the original back too...
