Okay... I must have missed something... WHY is Annie sooooooooooooo desperate to have a baby with Ryass? Does she really believe that it will keep him tied to her? And, if so, what's wrong with the daughter she already has by Ryass? What is Emma, chopped liver? She's not enough to keep him tied to her (in one form or another)?

And why, why, WHY is it that EVERY SINGLE WOMAN who gets involved with Ryass ends up going off the deep end? Gillian didn't, but she had to die in order to avoid that fate. Kendall, Greenlee, now Annie...

Why do NONE of these women see that the common denominator in their biggest problems is RYASS? Why didn't Annie nail that door shut when she first threw Ryass out? She was almost home free, and now she's gone batsh@t crazy!!

As for Ryass... Why have they treated him as the patron Saint of Pine Valley, but not WRITTEN him as the hero he is purported to be? He's mean, abusive, disloyal, selfish... just to name a few of his better qualities. What gives?

EXACTLY!

I would have no problem with them pimping Ryass as the town hero IF they would write him as a hero and not an abusive, overbearing, manipulative, controlling arse!

How many women are going to fall victim to Ryass-Moronicus before that maniac is stopped?

For that matter, when are the writers going to STOP writing WOMEN as nothing more than insecure, whiny, needy, helpless-without-a-man, sex fiends?!
