I am so glad Richie is leaving! Finally JR can be a hero and get that scum out of Pine Valley. I hate Richie hes worthless. hell finally pay for all of the bad things hes done, and Im glad JR is the one that makes him pay.

I'm so glad; I think that Richie was one of the worst characters ever created! I am speaking specifically about the character NOT the actor. So many people knew how truly evil Richie was and no one did anything; this is sick behavior all around. I think that the Richie story made AMC most unpleasant to watch. The same can be said of the Robert Gardner character. If you are going to write a villain, it must be multidimensional in order to be effective in a storyline. These two characters were pure evil, they had no redeeming qualities, nothing that ever made the viewer feel for them. For the writers to excuse Richie's behavior and let it continue for so long demeaned the other AMC charactors. Furthermore, it simply was not a good story. Lately, AMC has emphasized gimmicks over not just good storylines but really no story at all.

>) I disagree! I liked the R.N character, Not only was he a hottie, but he was devilish. Not everybody can be a goody-2-shoes. I just wished they had writen his character with more substance. I mean he didnt have a job, any women except babe but that went nowhere. I think thy gave up on him way to quick. I would have loved to see him and Annie get along and wickedly work together to make those that hurt them pay and take over companies etc. They could have done so much. As usual, another waste.

I kind of agree with you. I do wonder where he got the money to hire the guys to kidnap JR when he took his bone marrow.

Good Riddance Ritchie. What a disappointment you turned out to be. Can't believe that I actually rooted for you once upon a time.
