Eden Riegel interview with Cindi Reinhart

Eden gave a brief interview in Seattle just today where she talks about her web series. She also talks about her desire to return to AMC. She says she has contacted the front office about a return, but she hasn't received an answer yet. It's been over a year, minus cameos since Binks has been back, and her return is overdue. |

No matter. Looks like the idiots in charge are in no hurry to bring her back. All I can say is it's their loss. If they're in no hurry to bring Binks back, then I'm in no hurry to start watching the show again. |

She was, after all, BFF with Babe (the REAL Babe that is). And ended up being well-liked and "accepted" by almost everyone in PV). I just think Zoe added a totally different dimension to the show. (I loved Zoe and Zach's conversations about their fathers and the expectations their fathers had of them). I think it would be good to see how someone transgendered can fit into what some would consider a "normal" society, how TG individuals have to deal with prejudice on a daily basis, and to show that TG individuals really just want what everyone else wants ...... success and happiness. Zoe certainly made me want to watch the show every day (and sometimes 2-3 times a day). Now I only watch for "specific" things like Greg Nelson's return, Julia's death, etc. BTW, I LOVED Greg's return; and HATED Julia's death. What a waste of such a good character and actress. JMO |

Sorry Bella I agree with Faninhuskerland it's time to let Zoe go she won't be back.If they aren't even trying to get Bianca back than there's no way Zoe will be back,even if Bianca did come back it would be for a short visit nothing more as Eden doesn't want full time and Zoe definiely wouldn't be with her. |

I AM IN TOTAL AGREEMENT WITH EVERYTHING BELLA SAID ABOUT ZOE......SHE IS GREATLY MISSED.....VIVA LA ZOE...... I also dont recall reading any posts from ZOE fans where they stated they dont like or support any other characters so there is no reason for us to 'let go' and find someone new........we can like more than one character, Bianca for example was one of them as well as others but we still have the right to continue supporting our special favourites including ZOE whether or not they are now in Pine Valley.. I adore ZOE and will never give up on her returning some day but I also have favourites from many years ago and one of them Greg Nelson just returned after a 22 year absence so i'm glad i didnt 'let go' of hoping for his return...... It does happen on soaps so....NEVER..SAY..NEVER.... ZOE will always be my #1....so why should i forget about her just because some viewers didnt like her???? I respect everyones right to have favourite characters and would never presume to tell them to 'let go' just because they may not be a favourite of mine......... |

I'm not telling you to let go of your love of Zoe (sorry if I offended you) I mean't let go of the habit of turning every thread about Eden into a Zoe thread.This was about Eden coming back not Zoe and that is what most of the posts became about,Zoe has been gone over a year and there has been no hints that she's coming back.So to go on about how they need to bring her back in numerous threads is getting repetative.Not everyone was a fan of the character and i'd like to discuss Bianca without having to always associate her with Zoe everytime.That is what Fan In Huskerland was also trying to say Bianca does not equal Zoe or anyone else she's a character in her own right. |

I have no problem with you being a Zoe fan and wanting her back but i'd prefer the subject was not always highjacking Eden threads her and Bianca deserve that. I do not make a practice of 'Highjacking' threads and was simply responding to a statement a poster made about Zoe.... I too respect Eden and her character Bianca but whether we like it or not she will forever be identified with Zoe and Maggie and mentioning them in the same sentence is not being disrespectful to Eden.....They were both important to her career and she talks about them often in her interviews so if she is okay with it then maybe her fans should be too. |
